I wish this drama had a better writer and a better leading actress. It had so much potential :(
I know how popular she is in Korea, I just felt like she wasn't suitable for the role itself. I'm not sure. All I know is I didn't like her there.

Same here. Seen him in The Moon That Embraces The Sun, and that was it--I was his fan.
I checked your dramalist and saw that you watched mostly Japanese dramas. I almost only watch K-dramas.
I'll send you a message with my recommended dramas :)
She was more than great in 'The Moon that Embraces the Sun'. She gave depth to her supposedly evil character :) I'm officially a fan and I hope she gets a lead role!
I don't like Wol-she has the personality of a piece of cardboard
Yes!! I don't know if it was the actors and the story itself, but the part where the characters were younger was much much more interesting/fun/awesome.

It gets better when she regains her memories (she becomes a little more like her younger self) but I do agree with you. I couldn't bring myself to like her and I rolled my eyes at her most of the time.
He's such a great actor! I saw him in 'White Christmas' and in 'Rooftop Prince' and the vibes he gave in each drama was so different it was like two separate people were acting.
I enjoyed this drama so much and still can't get over even I've finished it like two or three weeks passed. But…
It turns out that I do't mind the ending, actually! And your version does sound interesting (though some people argued that Tae Yong really died).
I think that the soul of Lee Gak (and all of its memories) woke in Tae Yong's body after Lee Gak went back to Joseon because when he was in Park Ha's shop and she wasn't even looking at him, he had this familiar Gak-like smirk.
Another thing, when he came to meet her, he *did* say that he'd waited for her for a really long time (300 years) and you'd notice that his hands were placed behind his back--which is the way Lee Gak placed his hands all this time.
Then there's the image of Lee Gak in the end, making it even more obvious that it's still Lee Gak on the inside.
:) I loved the ending. It wasn't all happy (Lee Gak lost Bu Yong & Park Ha) but the idea that their love would stand hundred years later is awesome~~~

When I first saw him in the drama, I thought he reminded me of JYJ's Junsu <3
A main role please!!
