I just want ONE episode where Ye Ji doesn't cry. She's such a victim and it's tiring
Well, she's in a compromised situation. Even if Ye Ji wants to leave the house, it's not an easy decision to make because she's been (financially) dependant on Seo Jin and his family. She hasn't worked in over seven years. And the studio they're setting up now is also backed by SJ's family's business.
Thankfully the pace picked up this week! At first, I had a feeling Kang Sang could be Goong Chul and Hae Sook's child, but the friend group has only known each other for 20 years, and Kang San looks older. Kang San was also called a bastard child by his gambler friends, and told his hoobae that both of them don't know who their fathers really are. So I also think the dead professor could be his father, and that the woman at the eldercare (who might be the professor's mother?) is linked to all of this. Maybe she raised Kang San. So many questions lmao.
I feel like the drama has deviated quite a bit from giving Jin Sook the space and breather she needed in the marriage. As soon as the graduation was finalised, Sang Shik's accident happened. Personally, I can't see how they will work this out, especially because Jin Sook is only now being open about her accumulated feelings and stress. Also - give Eun Joo a happy ending!
The episode cut is really showing in episode 11. I am extremely disappointed in the direction the writing is taking for Soo Ho and In Wook's arcs, both separately and together. I'm all for Soon Ho finding her happiness, but I thought everyone was getting a chance? I guess that doesn't apply for In Wook?
