I feel the grudge aggravated all the more because they became neighbors coincidentally.
I don't believe you. Wealthy people are always looking for ways to get wealthier. Selling a house for more than you paid or owe on it is a really good way to do that.
I don't "hate" your silly show, Baby. People like you often try to inject the notion that people like me are reacting with irrational emotion, fueled by "hatred" when actually, the show just isn't very good. I have written numerous times, then I'll write again: I watch because Ohm is handsome/cute and a good actor and there's nothing he can do to fix Nanon. I FF a lot and if it looks like a scene with Ohm that might be worth a look I stop. God through this episode in abou 15 minutes.
More importantly, since you're enjoying this show, why do you care what the hell I'm doing? Go ahead, enjoy...I'm not stopping you.
Have you seen “Move to Heaven” and “I can Speak yet”? Must warch
Just finished watching it. Powerful film. Lee Je Hoon is a god, but the lead actress is phenomenal in that. I cried like a child the last third of the movie.
not to argue, but the grudge is way deeper than that... it's the fact that pat's dad lied and said pran's mom…
I know all that and disagree. I'm not saying it's a minor thing, but to raise your child and conduct your adult life with that grudge as the central motivator is ridiculous. And again...living next door? No.
Once again, a Korean feature film comes out of my watch list and mows me down. Na Moon He is the heart and soul of this movie. I adore her. What a great actor. Lee Je Hoon is one of my fave Asian actors, but NMH stole the show. And what a great reminder this film is of what the Japanese Army did to young Korean girls. I cannot imagine what it is the Japanese think they have to gain by refusing to apologize. They could have done so and had this all over with many years ago, yet it drags on because the government stubbornly refuses to admit reality. Disgusting.
There were a few cheesy moments during that U.S. House hearing that seemed off, but I won't nit-pick. Everything else about this film was grand. When they took Granny into the waiting room and I realized who was waiting for her there, my hands flew to my face. What a moment. And the scene where Granny's long-time friend expressed her frustration nearly tore my heart out. wow
As per usual, I went thru half a roll of paper towels. 8.5/10

The acting in the final scene of Ep. 10 was deeply moving, the best of the series. My primary beef with the show is its core premise: That two adult couples with plenty of money would buy homes next to each other and live there for years, all the while seething with resentment while raising their sons to compete and hate each other is...silly. I get that it's supposed to be sort of a Romeo and Juliet thing with the families, but this is the kind of grudge you hold because someone killed someone else and got away with it, not some stolen scholarship from 25 years ago. Please. Also, the Capulets and the Montagues did NOT live next door to each other.
People comment here cuz they WATCH the show, and they like it ( to some different degrees), maybe not as much…
How shockingly reasonable of you. :D Yeah, the idea that professionally-produced series and movies should somehow be above criticism because they were made by nice people or something is absurd. This isn't a Kindergarten play where everyone get an "A" for their performance.
If it is a suicide, they are not allowed to announce it in Korean media since celebrities suicides lead to an…
Not allowed by who? Is this a law or a request? Media should tell the government to fuck off. It's their duty to report the news, not cover up for entertainment companies. What the hell is the govt. sticking its nose into this anyway? Because it has a vested interest in the continuing profitability of K-Pop, K-Dramas, and all else. Besides, everyone KNOWS it's probably suicide anyway...who do they think they're fooling?
The government should be spending big bucks to figure out how to lower the rate of suicide across Korean society, at all levels, not just among celebrities. The suicide rate there is appalling.
This reminds me of a wonderful play I was in during college years: "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern." I was Guildenstern. R and I mostly sat around talking about bizarre, discombobulated topics that were at the same time philisophical and often funny. Occasionally, odd characters would wander into and out of our little world...one of my favorite performances.
Suda Masaki is a natural genius actor. My god, he is so freaking funny with incredibly droll, low-key delivery. At the same time, his physical comedy is hysterical. When he was screaming that he was "burning" as Grandpa staggered past, I laughed my ass off. lol
The agency stated that she passed away suddenly, so no one knows the reason 😔
I don't care about most K-Dramas, K-movies, however, are another matter. Some of my favorite flicks are Korean these days. I don't think a boycott would ever work because there are always going to be plenty of audience members who will buy what they're selling, no matter what. Also, the causes within the industry are so diverse and I think a boycott has to be sharply targeted at achieving this or that specific goal. A first step would be for the audience to share as freely as they choose online and elsewhere as to what the cause of death is, and demand to know. Production companies' press releases after a young entertainer's demise are always some form "we are heartbroken to tell you that X has unexpectedly and out of respect for the family please remember to shut the f**k up." That plea needs to be ignored. If it was something else, then tell us what it was. Why would a family even WANT to hide a cause of death unless it was something fishy, or as in Korea's case "shameful," which is what suicide and mental illness are considered to be.
Furthermore, Korea as a whole has the highest rate of suicide in the developed worldd; it's not just entertainers jumping off roofs and swallowing pills, for a lot of reasons. K-Netizens need to be completely ignored and told to f**k off too. They don't have power unless it's granted by the larger audience and society.
A question to anyone reading this who might care to answer: Why do K-Netizens and the media play along with keeping so many K-Pop idols and movie/tv stars in the closet, when outing them would be great faire for an article? Koreans go ape-shit if an entertainer takes a puff off a joint, but no one cares about these young gay men pretending to be straight and emptying teeny-bopper straight girls' wallets in the process. I'm gay myself. It's about the deception and stupidity of it all. MANY idols are OBVIOUSLY gay to my eye and ear, but all of Korea pretends not to notice. Why is that?
I'm a huge Jonghyun-era SHINee fan. I also think all of them with the possible exception of Minho, are gay. How is that not a story, especially when Key pretty much lays it out there at times? Is it just SO horrible to consider that no one dares even think it? lol Taemin's gayer than I am, which is very gay, yet these dumb-ass talk show hosts are asking him about the kind of woman he likes and shit. Sister, please. lol

Are we talking about Covid shots here? If so, why not just say so? Or even if it is something else, why not just say so here? Will government agents show up at your door?
