Subbing of episode 8 is blocked by the Youtube channel, that is why they can't add subs. The Tv channel is not the one subbing the show.

Nope, on Viki it is 2 parts.
Sometimes you would find it as one because the video came from a torrent source.

Now all 3 broadcasting channel (KBS, SBS, and MBC) are trying out a new format. Each episode is split into 2 halves and ads are aired between the 2 parts.

I watched both episode 1 and 2, but there was no romance.

Nope. Airing dates change frequently and it is confusing. I usually edit shows that air this week (Fix dates/episode/duration/cast), so I don't know about the upcoming things.

tvN doesn't need to do that since they are a cable TV channel and people already pay to watch. They have planty of money coming from PP, ads, and subscription fees. Plus, I believe they already include an ad break 3/4 through the episode.

I changed it yesterday after I saw the Korean Wikipedia page and Namu (much reliable than other sources that are hardly updated).
Just now, I saw that Naver updated it to 10 episodes.
Guess we are one of the first to fix the episode number.

The subs stopped at episode 9 since they privatized all videos. I'm sure someone will continue them since they are back.
