This drama has amazing dialogues and amazing lines. It is a profound philosophical discourse typically through the mouths of DM, EH, HJ. or DM's brother and best friends. (but not always - which makes it more realistic and fun to watch).

So I noticed I watch other stuff differently now, my eyes / ears are "sharper". The trashy script or poor acting that annoyed me before is now right into my face and undeniable.... and it is clear, I shouldnt waste time with it.

Maybe you... but 50,000 users watching Perfect Crown or Pursuit of Jade are all full of praise... they do seem satisfied eating the junk food :)

That's true for everyone, but his problem is that he STRONGLY REACTS in external ways when he feels that "bad energy", and that is why he is a man-child.

As an adult, he has to be grounded in himself to not be influenced to do stupid things when the environment is problematic. Only then can he work with 200-500 ppl on a movie set.

He needs to learn to stay calm and to solve problems regardless of others.
And if the environment is too harmful and not improving after asking to do so, to leave.

Monday episode (#103) was such a trashy soap, I am speechless. Esp. trashy script and trashy acting on everything related to JM's kidnapping.
I hope it improves asap.

JH is shown as an obsessed dangerous person, concocting very elaborate and devious plans to hurt JM and BH, and SUCCEEDING in carrying his plans. AT THIS POINT, JH IS A PSYCHOTIC CRIMINAL, and it will get worse. He really needs to go to a psych hospital asap, he needs HELP before he kills or permanently harms someone and/or himself.

JM and BH are too dumb to help JH stay sane, Chairman is too greedy to help him, and hopefully HY will help him out of her greed and check him to a psych ward asap. The situation is just getting out of control and he could really really really really cause SERIOUS damages and PERMANENTLY flip into a monster. It is pathetic how delusional he is. He *can* come back but he needs help asap, or else who knows what will happen.

But JH actor needs to be able to carry that role. He is too... flat. He really has no talent for acting. This is already ep 103... he should have improved significantly by now. He is good only for tiny insignificant roles.
JM actress also didnt impress me at all with kidnapping scenes. She doesnt seem to act well anything related to being poor, dumb, abused, etc.
Also, she is totally cold to BH. No chemistry whatseover from her. BH actor is marvelously acting it

So JH is the son of Lapdog and HY, born when HY was a poor and unknown actress. So he is about 5-7 yrs older than SR/JM? He was already a little adopted boy who was getting free food from his neighbor SH when she was having SR/JM and helping in the T. villa. We dont know if SH was only pregnant or already gave birth when she was giving food to JH...
AND JH GAVE HY's HAIRPIN TO SH, out of gratitude for his warm meals. SO JH HAS LOVE AND GRATITUDE IN HIM.

Yes, in one sentence, i like character development and "psychological depth" showing how the problems are worked out and overcome. I like TRANSFORMATION INTO THE LIGHT :) I want to see "resurrection from the cross". So you have to start with the person being on the cross and then what they did on there to transform and finally resurrect.
Hwood as well as organized christianity focus solely on being nailed on the cross. Nobody talks about HOW from there you go into resurrection.
I like kdramas bc they typically show the process to "resurrection" aka transformation and the final positive "turning into light" aka significant and positive personal and inter-relational and community transformation. It is a very Buddhist approach :) and the approach to all good storytelling. And the approach that leads to a very aware society so ... it is usually destroyed, as imo is happening right now, turning karts into kollywood.

Well maybe I overstated it. I thought it was fresh, clean, and honest. For a high school drama, it is great.
it is honest and realistic, it was a drama about RELATIONSHIPS - in general and then specifically with gay issues. It was about supportive families in many different forms, about supportive friends in many different forms, and about supporting love, in many different forms.
I really liked the dialogues and the advice that the girl gave to others.
Non-straight ppl complained the straight couple took over the drama but I thought it was great, to show how all kinds of ppl live and live together in peace. It would be so much easier if everyone was honest about their orientation and everyone lived as they wished. So I thought this drama portrayed such world relatively well and i appreciate that.

I liked the scenes of their daily lives and different kinds of families they had. I like the mixes of all kinds of diferent kinds of ppl and different types of families - where everyone can find the peace and safe heaven they need.
and i like the character of their school friend who was a girl and her positive influence. A very strong young woman. It is rare to see such strong female characters in kdramas... so she was really precious.
I liked how the straight guy handled it when he discovered that Hee Su was hitting on him
I liked how the gay guy handled his relationship with Hee Su. He was patient and gentle and did not force anything.
I liked how the closet / secret thing was handled. It wa very tactful yet it was clear the guys were hiding.
I liked how Hee Su was flawed and overcame his issues
I liked how the two guys started their relationship
I think it was just ... natural..

Cherry Miracle is a lot more realistic but there we have one experienced adult. The other one was weird bc he seemed to be totally asexual until that point.
