ML is too withdrawn, his wife aggressively pokes him, he becomes more withdrawn and runs away... yeah they are toxic. Then he, a good boy and space cadet clutz for real life, goes out chasing serial killers on his own. Quite dumb
On the other hand, they are both smart, persistent and resilient, she manages to escape, he manages to find her. There is some progress. So that's why I didnt drop it yet

The drama drags so much in the middle and then magically in the last 2 episodes, everyone becomes nice and lovey dovey and gets along with everyone.
Grandma's diary becomes a bestselling book LOL that hater Grandma becomes comforting to ppl. Omg this is too cheesy. This forced "happy end for all"

Character growth is totally missing. We saw problems, and then magically at the end we see it al gone - but we never saw the PROCESS

neither :) The best is to watch 16 eps done properly, with character development, with some eps showing "after the fact" life.

I wouldnt say that he prioritizes the poor... I would say that he prioritizes whoever needs the care most urgently, rich or poor, and will not skip that line to cater to the rich,
and that he will help everyone who needs care

so yeah why does he have only 80 mil won, did he pay for some surgeries, or who is he giving his money to? what are his costs? We assume he has a decent salary and could save a lot more. WHERE IS HIS MONEY GOING??

the hospital corruption and wheeling and dealing... Chairman's nasty deeds.... ML's secrets... Relationship between ML and pretty lady doctor... The role of Chairman and ML's "friend" doctor ,,, and the relation of the killers to this all.... Cleanup between ML and his wife.... and moving on... THERE IS SO MUCH LEFT TO DO :)

you need to read all the comments to see how many ppl are complaining they cannot connect with the drama. It is a great deal due to the ML being very isolated and not connecting with his environment, which then transfers to the audience. It is ok to start that but the drama was in that state for TOO LONG so the audience drops out and gives low ratings.

Bc having too much of that flavor just KILLS the life of the drama and also of the audience, the audience will run away - and many ppl did already

YOU NEED TO START THINKING DIFFERENTLY AND TRY TO SEE WHERE THE DRAMA CAN IMPROVE, instead of thinking that every criticism is to kill the drama. The criticism is to help the drama improve

But ML is .... kinda autistic. He is not a politician nor a social person. He keeps to himself and does not communicate even with his wife.
And he always chooses not to harm anyone UNLESS they are directly attacking him. So as soon as 2 thieves were on the floor, ML ran away. That is to be expected of him

The person who is a neurosurgeon with connections with VIPs and police etc is the Chairman. And he is doing something super shady. The Chairman is a big player in all this and seems to be using this to get rid of TJ

Yes ML is a quiet type, a genius neurosurgeon, by definition he has to be a very intelligent, controlled, calm person. There is no problem with that.
And yes he is showing SOME emotion recently but those are all violent emotions in states of shock. So far he never shows what he REALLY feels, and for one simple reason - he himself does not know..,,,,

The problem is that our ML does not feel and does not communicate.
He is shown as almost autistic. He does NOT communicate. Something is very wrong with him. Bc he is not autistic. He is just in his shell. It is frustrating bc that man just DOES NOT TALK WITH PEOPLE. He is so isolated into himself.
His calm composed is actually a mask, there is something brewing underneath, and he is in denial to himself and to the world. HE IS DEAD INSIDE

And that state is not a problem either. The drama has to start somewhere. However, it is ep 9 now and we havent seen him progress. THAT is a problem.

Also, I dont like how the director is playing it, showing ML in closeups in these space cadet states. It is just boring. And ML often is just not acting good enough in those scenes, it is clear he is pretending.

The scenes are shot as if ML were a fashion model so his beautiful face with some weird space cadet expression is captured and we are supposed to adore it. My response is HECK BORING. That kind of stuff works for advertisements, but not for movies. Well except for Hwood lol but that's why I dont watch that. WHY focus on some lost in space face with the dead human behind it. It is just ... pointless and boring.

I agree with you I think they are so not for each other and should divorce. Clean up the past, forgive each other, and move on.
Sure he should save her but it doesnt mean he has to spend his whole life with her. They are a mismatch imo and not able to move on
