The term "collateral family member" was found on one of the official sites w/r/t Heo Yeom. I'm assuming it means going up to family tree he's third or fourth cousin. If I recall correctly, the Seo family (which resides at the other of the lake?? - again if I recall correctly) is the oldest and most prestigious mage families.

Naksu might have been in the 23-25 year range, but Bu-yeon could easily be Jung Uk's age. I'm still hoping they were betrothed in the cradle. 😊

OMG, I think I just figured out what Jin Mu's special gift to the Queen is - some sort of herb to make sure that the King can't sire a child via all those concubines he is apparently bringing into the Royal Castle. She wants to protect the position/status of HER son.

Well, maybe I'm wrong - but I was surprised that the King is still trying to achieve that "King Star" in the skies. But it was good to finally get an explanation as to why the current King feels unsure about his position.

Jin Mu doesn't know that Jang Uk's birth manifested in the King Star - if he did, JU would have been dead long ago. But, it's likely that he knows that one did appear around that time.

A number of posters are stating that the mirror is "evil". I didn't get that impression - I thought it was a magical item that recognizes a person and who they truly are. I thought the mirror was recognizing the oldest Jin daughter - Bu-jeon/MD. Only a Jin is able to get into that vault.

In fact, I thought this was the final confirmation as to who MD really is!

And she's not dressed like MD nor is her hair styled like MD. When I first saw that scene in the preview I thought - I don't care if next weekend comes or not if I have to watch THAT. But, I agree - I think might be something the mirror will show her

Is there a description somewhere that indicates this particular mirror recognizes "evil". I thought it was meant to show that the mirrow recognizes the "real" or "true" person - and Cho-jeon is a manipulative brat. She was welcoming the older jin daughter's return - Mu-Deok. That's how I saw it.

Jin Bu-yeon is the name of the eldest Jin daughter that is missing. I don't think it's an "evil" mirror. It is magical and recognizes the person standing in front of it and who they really are - inside and out. I guess it's possible that the mirror recognizes Naksu instead of MD/Jin Buy-yeon, but that's not a direction that makes sense. To me, anyway.

Did she see through the box? Or did she sense it? She rattled the box to confirm what was inside. Naksu didn't have that power - but a Jin would sense it. 😊

The father is the one who wiped out his family - and it looks like a whole lot of other people in the surrounding area (lots of bodies laying around).

What??? That wasn't an evil spirit - it was Jin Bu-yeon recognizing who Mu-Deok truly is.

She has no physical strength. I was disappointed because in prior episode, JU knew all about Tansu from reading it and yet in today's episode he seemed completely ignorant. I guess those dang aliens are beginning to suck the brains out of JU - and his super-intelligence is one of the reasons I have loved his character.

I think there have been several hints (starting with Heo Yeom in Ep. 4) that Teacher Lee is the 2nd person to master Hwansu level.

As I'm waiting for the next episode to release, I'm going to be watching for any clues or hints about the Eldest Jin Daughter and whether she was betrothed "in the cradle", as they say.

lol, I agree but I assumed that since bekxx asked the question, they didn't understand the subtleties of that particular scene. From the very first episode I've been saying that Mu-Deok's soul didn't transfer because there was no blue mark showing an EXIT.

I don't see a happy ending for Naksu either if they follow the soul-shifting rules laid out thus far.

It has not been revealed on the show. But, I'm pretty sure It's still in her body - never left.

Thanks for answer - definitely not my type of drama. However, I like Mu-deok more than Assassin Naksu, so we'll see.

There are still a few remaining scenes from the 6 minute preview video - I think we'll see those as well in Ep 6.
