For me it is also one of the most overrated things I have ever seen. But I wouldn't call it trash... The plot was underwhelming, some of the character-writing and some animations sucked (and of course the pacing)... But I liked the world building and the main actress for example is really great. This is one of my least favorite cdramas. The only thing that makes it worth watching is the main actress and her character. But I liked her performance in Fuyao almost as much... and that drama was actually worth it in my opinion.

Yes and that the romance started there was one reason I didn`t like it. In my head I was just like "no no just go away!". I liked the romance in Legend of Fuyao a lot more. This one of my least favorite c-dramas. But I had really mixed feelings after finishing. I think I wrote an entire review in the comments of my Cdramas list.
