I’m not a hater but I genuinely don’t get the high rating. The main actor is great and he makes the drama watchable because the actress is awful. Her tone, exaggerated expressions and even her face have spoiled it for me. Such a shame...

Whoever rated this movie more than 5 is totally biased towards the lead actors. No way anyone could defend this disaster. And it doesn’t matter if you have watched the drama or read the book. The storyline is confusing, disjointed, the editing is shocking and there is 0 chemistry between the leads. They are just very pretty, wearing comical outfits and behaving like immature, horny teenagers.

You can desire a lot of people but love is not something you can control, even if you are a high god ;)

This is Mark Chao’s show. Hands down! Everything is good about this drama but HE makes it bloody brilliant and unforgettable. Yang mi was ok to me but through Mark I felt Ye Hua’s every emotion and thought. And he made their chemistry sizzling hot. The last time I fell so hard for an actor and a couple was for Innocent Man.
