Probably not a popular opinion since Chinese fans seem to prefer the flower boy type, but for me he is the best Chinese actor of his generation. He has a very “western” way of acting; subtle, charismatic but never over the top. And I like the fact that he is not plastic and looks like a handsome Chinese man.

Totally agree; fantastic acting. The other lead actor is soooo overrated.

For me Shawn Dou stole the show. It would have been even more irritating without him and his character’s development. I personally didn’t feel the chemistry between the lead couple

This is how Romcoms should be done! In my top 3. Lots and lots of grown up romance, real kisses and amazing chemistry, fun, great music that makes gives you butterflies. Love it.

I’m not a hater but I genuinely don’t get the high rating. The main actor is great and he makes the drama watchable because the actress is awful. Her tone, exaggerated expressions and even her face have spoiled it for me. Such a shame...

This is according to YOUR standards. Believe or not but there are some me who are still a virgin at 30. Nothing extraordinary about it depending on your culture/beliefs.
