I avoid sad endings like a plague. Some of these I've seen and were not as tragic as I thought they were going to be or at least, they did a good job of mentally preparing myself for the ending. I don't consider open endings as sad endings. I also don't consider Hotel Del Luna that sad of an ending because it's what she wanted all along. Scarlet Heart (original) broke my heart ;(, but at least I was mentally prepared for Scarlet Heart Ryeo.

There's also the HK drama: When a dog loves a cat.
I did not know about that one, but I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

Thank you ^^ Out of this list, I think you'll like Guardian and Neko Zamurai the most.
I watched the drama first because it came out first. I'm watching in order of release date/year. I haven't seen the movie yet. ^^;; But it seems like a condensed version of season 1.

I tried Blanket Cats 1-2 years ago but only the first few eps got subbed :(I only liked Meow the Secret Boy for…
I watched Meow The Secret Cat for the cat, but I stayed for the frenemy bromance. I didn't care much about the romance/love triangle. I thought the plot was mediocre as well, but I still enjoyed it for the cat humor.

If you watch Imaginary Cat you get to see Yoo Seung Ho as well.
I also loved that the cat was voiced by Han Ye Ri. ♥ ^^

Thanks for the article. I watched 7 dramas mentioned in your article and now I got more for to look forward too.
7 is pretty impressive! I can see you possibly liking Guardian. it's produced by the same team that produced The Untamed.

Make one for dog lovers too~! ^^
I'm pretty sure someone else is working on that article already. :P I will say My Lonely Planet is also great for dog lovers since FL does such a great job of channeling a happy golden retriever.

I’ve seen Meow and First Life. First Life was okay, but I loved Meow. I’m a cat lover and have a crazy cat…
I have a feeling you're gonna love Taste of Cat then. :) Neko Zamurai is very different from the typical light and sweet cat dramas, but it's still great in its own unique way. I hope you enjoy them!

I haven’t seen any of these but I am a cat lover and am putting them on my list! Though I’m curious! Have…
Yes, I did! It was cute. The cat was the best actor in that drama. Such a natural talent. xD It actually took me three attempts to watch Imaginary Cat (third time was for this article). I just kept getting bored and falling asleep. ^^;; I loved the cat's commentary though.

Neko Zamurai at Number 1? AWESOME! A very under-appreciated Drama I feel. Season 1 was definitely stronger than…
Haha, yes. The cat is most definitely the star of the show. :P I noticed that most dramas that are heavily centered around cats tend to be light, cute, and fluffy. Neko Zamurai went in a lot deeper than that with the character growth. I also loved how they replicated modern day concepts like cat cafes and cat themed food.

Great article ^^ as a huge cat lover I really enjoy it when there's a cat in a drama! ;D I really liked scenes…
Thank you. :) Haha, I don't blame you for Meow The Secret Boy. A lot of people watched for the eye candy, but I stuck around for the cats. >_> It did take me a couple of episodes to warm myself up to the drama.
