I was flipping through channels & landed in the middle of something with subtitles. It was Winter Sonata on the AZN TV network. Even though I'd come in halfway through the drama, I was hooked! Luckily, I was able to watch quite a few more dramas before the network went off the air. Now I have the internet at my disposal to satisfy my drama addiction.

I watched the LBS You Tube Star Date before I replied to you...thanks for the suggestion. He's just like I thought he'd be: funny, talkative, & charming.

Lee Bum Soo is one of my favorite actors & I've tried to keep up with his dramas and films. I'm looking forward to Over My Dead Body. The trailer looks interesting. I enjoyed Lifting King Kong - well done since it was based on a true story.
There must be something about Jang Young-Cheol because I like everything he's written so far: Giant, HotS & his sageuk The King/Emperor Dae Jo Young.
I had high hopes for Lucky Seven but it fizzled out in the middle. Luckily, I didn't drop it & the end was good: no loose ends to the story.

Hello & thanks for the request! Happy drama/movie watching!!
This remains one of my favorite dramas - even after having watched so many different kinds of dramas. The cast did an excellent job with the well written script. I liked the sci-fi/fantasy angle of the story. It left a very sad feeling at the end, but it also offered hope for tomorrow.
This was a very good movie! The story was well paced, the fighting scenes didn't overwhelm & the actors were all well-cast. I enjoyed the subtle chemistry between SKH & SSK's characters.
Excellent story, over the top action scenes & first-rate acting contributed to this movie's appeal for me. Director Miike did an epic job on this epic film. Goro was FANTASTIC as Lord Naritsugu!
This was an enjoyable drama. Kim Rae-Won & Jung Ryeo-Won were excellent. The rest of the cast gave strong performances too. It's a strong 8 for me, but only a 6 rewatch value (although there were a few scenes I'd definitely rewatch).
I cried buckets of tears during this well-written & well-acted drama. It's no wonder it earned so many awards. The cast did an outstanding job: from the 'bad' characters to the 'good' ones. Matsuyuki Yasuko was fantastic as the mother. Ashida Mana is a very talented young actress: she's good in whatever she does. This drama's definitely worth watching!
One of my favorite actors. I first saw him in DAE JO YOUNG & his portrayal of Shin Hong had me hooked on his acting skills. No one does the 'hooded eye/evil sneer' better than Kim Gyu-Chul!
This was a wonderful, wonderful drama. It spun fantasy & reality together: not too much fantasy, but just enough to enhance the story. Jung Woo-Sung gave a powerful performance & I loved how his & Han Ji-Min's love story developed. Kim Bum played a perfect best friend & guardian angel. The OST is just as impressive as the drama itself (Noel's IN ORDER TO LIVE captures the feel of this wonderful drama).

Hello & thanks for the welcome! I like this site a lot (especially since I can keep track of my movies & dramas). Salaryman was an excellent drama. Now I'm watching a J-drama: Lucky Seven because one of my friends recommended it. So far so good.
