For a person proclaiming Slice of Life is one of my favourites, I really am missing out A LOT! I’m looking forward to checking some of them out

The titles that comes to mind when I think of that genre would be the movie: Otonari
Dramas a recent one: Ore no Hanashi wa Nagai (English title: If Talking Paid)

Where did you get that they support?

How many countries actually apologized? Did the US apologize for killing their 100s of thousands of innocent people, most of them pre-teens? Why go in the past, did they apologize for the wars they’ve been causing the last 20 years killing millions and destroying governments and their countries, while stealing their goods? Did the UK apologize for all their colonization, to this day collect money and the Queen imposing herself on those people? Did France apologize for their atrocities and to this day stealing the wealth of African countries they colonized the last century?

Why am I bringing this up? Well it’s the same as bringing up the war with Japan itself in this argument about a car accident (hit & run or wtv).

The wording could have something to do with him being in the entertainment industry and his agency is telling him what to say so he can stay in the industry. That would make more sense than bringing up wars when those people have nothing to do with it.

This coming to an end is probably for the best for everyone involved. It is kinda sad seeing an era coming to an end. They probably stayed longer than they should’ve, but this now feels like a reminder.

Talent aside, there is no law that forbids a 35 years old sleeping with an 20 yo. I know a girl who lied to the guy she was going out with about her age for 2 years. She was 18 and told him she was 20 (he was in his late 20s at the time). She always looked mature and older than her age. She told me she didn’t mean to lie but he assumed and she didn’t correct him. Was he supposed to check her id card before dating her?

This has nothing to do with my opinion on age difference between man and woman dating or even on one night stands. Those are personal choices but as long as both adults consenting, it’s none of my business. And if she’s 17 lying that she’s 20, how is he responsible? If she was 13, that would be a whole other story, but at 16 many look either younger or older than her age.

Talent wise, yes I think he needs to work hard to impress an international audience.

When someone is not taught right from wrong and got some sort of repercussions or shown the wrong they did at a young age, they won’t learn nor grow. They won’t change either. That’s why we have so many adult children nowadays.

I was referring to the bullying. Sexual assault and rape is a whole different story. It should be investigated by the authorities and perpetrators brought to Justice. Not sure how they go about it in South Korea

Well I think there is a way for him to show sincerity here. If he really regrets his past, he should take this opportunity to create awareness. The fact adults turn a blind eye to these situations is the biggest crime there.

Always leaving me wanting more! It did get repetitive at one point though. Still, the cast was just great. Yoshioka Riho was a fantastic addition to the cast.

Sometani Shota had a short role in the last episode but he's just too great. the only character that you see time reflected on him. One complaint about this drama, all cases are around 25 years old yet people haven't aged at all?

I think it's meant to say "leaving on time" isn't a bad thing but unless it is done as a group it won't make much of a difference if only 1 person does it. Despite what the people on top say, if the people that are directly involved with those in the bottom don't apply it, things won't change.

It's overall a good drama, discusses a very important subject that is related to work culture in Japan (which is also happening in many neighbouring countries actually). The era and mentality about work are changing and this drama portrays it well.

It's not perfect, week on the acting side, but still, overall engaging characters and the story flows well.

Totally worth the watch if only to get a conclusion. I wished to see more of the characters interacting rather than just the main lead (though they were great as always). Now I feel like rewatching the old series

Your comment on Diary of Prosecutor reminded me of it, kinda also falls into that category as well. So yeah got me excited to check it out + I really like Jung Ryeo Won

It felt very authentic family dynamic. From what is said to what is unsaid.

Also I found that scene where she asks for the divorce just authentic.

You make an important point here. Doing anything to keep the job/get a permanent job becomes more of a survival instinct when you have nothing to fall on otherwise.

Well life has taught me happiness is for a moment. No matter what you choose you can’t be always happy. However being content with your life is what is forever. Throwing a chance of being content for a moment’s happiness is foolish in my opinion. The the more happiness it gives you for that moment, the more painful it’ll be later on. It’s a mirage in the middle of the desert.
