It does look at the mystery genre in a unique way as in the suspects are the heros not the detectives. Japan is always willing to take a risk to tell their stories. As for Ayaka a lot of times I thought her mom was showing her weakness which prompted Ayaka to take it out on her. I understood her self loathing but I do think they took it to extremes.

lol yup I did!! I gotta say once I was past the half way point of the story it got me much more interested. It really is a human drama about complicated family relationship but I think they still kept an interesting mystery throughout. The acting on part of kids was well done. Ayaka was troubling most of the time, but I couldn't help but understand her even when I felt like beating her at times. The show make it a point that things start get better in her family once the parents start communicating better. Overall it had a nice message, well executed and acted. Oh and the ending song just rocked :P

I think Ninja Assassin was a joke of a movie. Nothing to do with him but the story, and the dialogs were too cheesy. The best most badass scene of the movie the the first scene, though its no good cuz it gives false expectations. I just couldn't take that movie seriously I was laughing most of the time while watching it at the movies :P

I really liked it!! I had it in my PTW list for a while I only knew that Eita was in it so I squeed at seeing Matsuda Ryuhei there specially right after watching Mahoro Ekimae Tada Benriken :D
I also liked the twist half way through the movie of "My neighbour's neighbour". Its not like I didn't see it coming but it had a nice build up to it.

Reasons to be impatiently waiting for summer season: 1) Satoshi, Eita, Hikari, Aoi Yu and Hashimoto Ai; it's like…
I really miss Satoshi in dramas & glad to see Eita & Hikari there but I wish they weren't siblings :P

I guess so.. oh yea cuz it put one of their team member's life at risk. But I'm sure they'd be brought back if similar serial murder occur!! I really WANT a season 3!!!

It IS weird for sure!! and it keeps being weird throughout. The character that you think is craziest in the first half of the show turns out too be the sanest compare to the others (still crazy though). Watching it was one hell of an experience. It required soo much thinking. After each episode (I was watching it while it aired) I would read at least 2 - 3 blogs & the comments analyzing the episode, what it meant, what it was referencing. But its hard to recommend to people cuz it really is unusual. Its also a type of show that can only be done through that medium (animated)

As for inspiring Generation, it had a lot of promises, but too much behind the scene drama to succeed. I feel bad for the cast & crew specially Kim Hyun-joong who put in so much effort in acting for once, he's been unlucky with dramas lately, but ultimately the moment they switched writers they killed the story
