I don't know I didn't feel that much connection with Maria's character and couldn't empathize with her at all.

I think despite what she did, the order he gave was too harsh for his own heart. He was still very young and emotionally attached.

I agree!! I think from episode 7, I thought either I got used to Dal Hyang as is or Yong hwa got more comfortable and better in his role. And I agree episode 6 tweaked my interest again and episode 7 was just really good and so was the follow up ;) Also I think if you like the original story you'll find yourself enjoying it. That is the case for me :)

He's doing an awesome job as oda nobunaga

I don't think it can beat Nodame but the promotional material gave me a good impression of this one and the most of the cast seems to have the talent to pull it off. We'll have to wait and see ;)

You basically took all my feelings about this drama and put it in that review, but more clearly illustrated. Wakamono-tachi might've got 8.5 but that review gets 10 from me :D

Thx for you comment ;) As you can see I gave acting a 10 I'd even give it 11/10 :P but somehow the ending left me wanting. I loved the suspense build up so the execution was very good.

Clover, Parasite, Joker Game, Omoi no Koshi, I'll watch for sure! As for the rest depends on my mood. As the Gods Will depends how creepy it is.

It seems to me that even though you were her husband she saw you as an outsider. I plan on living in japan one day for a short period but you're making me reconsider :P In asia there's much more pressure on the guy when it comes to money but I think your ex had serious control issues..

:( thats the impression I get from dramas about japanese housewives. Its like "you got fired? lets get a divorce!" So as long things don't go their way then thats it..

I think they might be afraid that the foreign parent with spoil the kid or something, so they prefer the kid to only be exposed to their own culture. Even though I do love Japan but the way they deal with divorce never made sense to me. It's good to know that things are starting to change. It's late but better late than never I guess.

I'm sorry to hear that about you. Yea since then I've seen it in a number of dramas. In the drama I'm currently watch called "ST" the last episode I saw the police helped the wife telling the ex husband that the kid died.. Is that even legal? It's not just sad it's so unfair. And not just for the dad but for the kids too! I think children always want to feel important to both parents no matter what happens between them. I've seen it in children of divorced parents. Maybe since they're showing it in their dramas they want to show the negativity of it?

Agreed with everything you said ;) I actually gave it the same ratings. I think the drama itself is perfect as is, bringing the right people playing the right character, the vibe, the atmosphere all come together in harmony, but for me it's missing this factor where I HAVE TO SEE WHAT'S NEXT. I watched while it was currently airing so it was the perfect dose per week.

Also some stories were stronger than others but an interesting experience overall. If they do season 2 I'd happily watch more ;)
