Just watched 23 since its subbed. Once I got past super-evil MiL syndrome or mistresses galore, the writing is holding strong and have done the wander or creep. We can kinda see the road. Lets see, now that 100 subbers are freed up maybe faster subbing. What do you think so far w Gold?

Watched 49-50 un-subbed & was soooooooo disappointed even without english. Read your review & could add no more, so I just commented. Have you kept up with I summon you gold? Another 50 however better writing and characters not as shallow. Missing good mature story & actors...

The ending was such a let down...All I could say, "that's it?" Then on the other hand, what did I expect from the long-winded story (24 ep would have hit the mark on this one). This 50ep series was stressful and overly twisted at several points due to writers just filling time & space. The reviews above & comments below kinda of sum up this LONG series - mediocre. The only redeeming & likeable role was Grandpa, and once he passed, so did the series. Would I watch again? NO; Any actors I want to follow - No; Will I get wound up in another 50ep baby? TBD; Is it worth your time:?????

Agree with you, I had a hard time in the beginning however this one works well - acting, plot, lots of re watch value. So far this 50ep baby is doing well & is keeping us interested with useful-more realistic makjang unlike some others that pissed you off or just became lackluster plots due to senseless - careless writing/acting.

Purplenette - great overview...Have been watching Summon & Wonderful Mama , slowly due to Eng Subs are so slow. I wish I could help just to get them faster.

Watched on Netflix (English)- interesting story line where poor wins against rich.- Love wins! This series is steamy and quite explicit for std kdrama but not overly to hide the story. I came to think of these scenes as pepper & salt to the storyline. Many rec I read, noted viewing the original story, then watch this version-sorry believe this version needed NO intro. Best part, story was only 4 ep, so it moved along, see dessert works when eaten first.

Addiction to kdrama is so easy and even faster to pick-up new habits as outlined above. Many of my friends cannot phantom looking at subtitles and nonetheless fail to learn something new. The beastly MiLaw syndrome should be listed- when you start comparing your in-laws/family to the beastly,greedy & Oedipus ladden types portrayed in kdrama land realizing, its a global problem. Liking this so far... good chemistry between leads and supporting. Some goofy elements YET held my interest. Chemistry is similar to the CityHall leads...

Like watching a train wreck. Beastly, heinous characters coupled with compliant victims. I keep saying no more, then bang I'm watching another ep. I just want CW to speak up & SY to wakeup soon or this will need to get dropped w a bang. Women in this series are really portrayed as conievng,selfish, heartless B's, dang!

Have been putting this one off, however James Wen got my attention as a lead. Have DFvrd ep1-11, good chemistry and decent acting. As for who the girl chooses, never can tell in Asian drama but one thing for sure, I sure want to get more on the mysterious Dr who worked his magic to keep her alive...

50? Just watched 1&2 will give a bit more space. Not sure how this got over 20% ratings? With 100 noodle house @50 ep not sure I can take another beastly mother, whining brat, & ?nable men.

An underutilized and watched series. The scenery, acting and pace are all well done.

Is this a remake of 'love me not'?

Good casting & chemistry. Not heavy, just right for if looking for a solid story. If you liked Baker King, and thought Panda Hedge was way too syrup & sweet, from first two episodes much promise.
