I've been leery about Secret Love Affair because I really don't like adultery themed dramas but on your recommendation, I might. Totally agree with the rest (I'll have to search out Byakuyako)! Great picks!!
I actually felt a little bit more acting on Yamapi's part. Generally he is very one-dimensional but here he showed a range of emotion. Yes, the child actor is great!!
With all due respect to everyone's opinion, I think many here are making too much of a drama out of the sex part.…
And that is the crux of the story! These two are so tortured by their envirorment, the people around them, the disappointments in their lives, it is not about the sex to me. I find it fascinating in a way because of the people around them that has taken them both to the brink of suicide. I really am looking for the relationship to evolve where as Kei said, they save each other. Because these are two people that need saving!
