Oh my goodness! I just LOVED this! From beginning to end! Yonekura Ryoko now has a new fan and I want to see everything she has done. As Michiko, she was fierce and totally in control!! I loved how every procedure was explained with a diagram of the body and depicted whatever type of surgery that was being performed. I loved the rest of cast; some I've seen in other supporting roles. This is probably my 3rd Japanese medical drama but I have to say, this one was the most impressive!! Here's hoping they do a season 2. BTW, my girl cannot dance but she looks DAMN good trying!!

Kim Tae Hee dramas have always been a hit or miss; some I liked (My Princess); some I hated (Stairway to Heaven, too freaking sad) and some I'm just indifferent to (Iris and Jang Ok Jung); however, this drama I found on a fluke and absolutely loved it; from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised at the story. It kind of reminds you (somewhat) of the The Bodyguard without the dangerous backdrop. This was my first Hidetoshi drama as I have a lot of his dramas on my watchlist but now I have something to look forward to as his acting was solid. The drama was a joint Korean and Japanese production and a nice surprise side story with Taecyon as Yuna's long lost brother.

One point shy from a Masterpiece!! What can I say about this drama other than the fact, Please jtBC, make more of them!! The acting was superb!! Jung Kyung Ho as Baksa did an excellent, excellent job!! Yoon Hyun Min, don't worry, I will NEVER, NEVER forget your name!! A new love for my drama life!! The ending was even as I expected. Son Chang Min as Min, again I will never forget his portrayal. But let's not forget Kim Yoo Mi as Jin Sook and Choi Moo Sung as Safari. I have never seen either of these actors before but it will be LONG, LONG time before I ever forget them again. The cinematography, while dark a lot of time, really fit the story. And I must give BIG props to the costumers for the men and especially for Jin Sook! I don't think there was even ONE outfit she wore that I DIDN'T wish I could find and where. There were a couple of characters who just dropped off of the screen without any explanation but that would be my only complaint. But let's give a hand to our Nine Lives player, Meth Kim!!

This truly was a drama that reminds you of a cold car that has been sitting for awhile; like that cold car, it takes it awhile to start; so too does this drama. The first 5-6 episodes, I kept asking myself why do people like this? The next 10 episodes were a lot better but I still didn't see the fascination; however, from that point on it kept getting better and better. The bromance between the brothers; the individual romances, even though the second brother and his wife's story will grate on your nerve, hang in there. However, the highlight romance and story, you must give to Uee and Joo Won. I was so glad to see him again and have a great chemistry with his co-star lead. Their chemistry was so sweet and so was their story. You really didn't want it to end. The conflicts, even though serious, you hated to see them. I loved the brothers, the women in their lives, everything. Great story! Great acting!

Also known as Sacred Monsters is an interesting story. I learned a lot as I watch this drama. The fact that surrogacy birth is illegal in Japan was a fascinating tidbit of information to me. From start to finish, the story follows Shiba Kengo played Okada Masaki, a young intern who is dragged into a conspiracy to hid the fact of the surrogacy birth but also the events that transpired as a result of the birth. First time seeing Okada but he played the character well. Kasugai Yuka played Nakatani Miki, the nurse and sister of Fuga Keiko played by Kato Ai. Yuka was simply a sister willing to go to all lengths to protect her sister and her secret; a secret not totally known to the sister who is truly the second victim in all of this. A victim because she is so desperate to have a child after losing her own. This drama is definitely a mix of suspense and intrigue with a little bit of medical play. If you like these type of genres, you'll like this but if you are looking for romance, this is not one....at all.

The redemption theme from beginning to end; the no-kill mentality of the good guys drove me crazy! Sometimes, bad guys do bad things and I just deserve to die! Okay, now that I've gotten what irritated me the most off my chest, I can talk about the drama.

If you like fantasy type saguek, this is pretty decent. there is no question that Cha Tae Hyun as Woo Chi made this very, very entertaining. I enjoyed his character, for the most part and he was very affective in portraying him. He did an excellent job in the fight sequences and it was obvious to me that he did most of his stunts so there wasn't any tricky camera action to camouflage a stunt person so I liked that especially.

Uee as My Yeon was decent, at best. I did not a problem with her acting, my problem was mostly how the writer wrote her character. There were times when Mu Yeon would do things contrary to what you, the viewer would want her to do but in the end; all was right with the world.

I found the romance between Woo Chi and Mu Yeon to be one step from boring. I wasn't vested in their relationship what so ever. When Mu Yeon was the bad Mu Yeon, she was infinitely more interesting.

The supporting cast, especially Hong Jong Hyun as Chan Whee and Jo Ha Rang as Gam Nae; the Royal Guard and Damo, theirs was the romance you wanted to see and was way better! They both did a great job for two actors so young.

The rest of the cast, especially Lee Hee Joon as the evil Kang Rim cannot be overlooked. Man, he played this role and you will definitely have a love/hate relationship with his character.

Again, the redemption theme throughout this really worked my nerve. The characters were so evil and killed so many innocent people, you just never felt, even at the end, that they got what they deserved.

Filming and the setting were great, as usual, and because the drama was filmed during the winter, I must give props to the actors and film crew for enduring that COLD!! Brrr!!!

Easy drama to watch but be prepared to yell and scream at the injustices. But without Cha Tae Hyun, this really wouldn't have been good.

I admit a love/hate/love relationship with this season. I loved being able to watch the team again, especially my Joo Sang Wook. I loved a lot of the stories because they were scary, at times and very interesting. But also remember so episodes were so confusing and boring that I either fell asleep or had to watch twice to understand. In some cases, I rewatched and still didn't understand so I had to ask other people that were watching to explain. That was this season in a nutshell. Either you will love some or hate some but overall, for you crime junkies out there, it continues to be a must-see drama. Can I love Joo Sang Wook anymore?!!

This is kind of a hard drama to rate. Why? Because even though it is a sageuk and it's 20 episodes, I wasn't ever bored but there were some aspects of the story that just could have been better. When it came to the acting, I must say the supporting cast out shined the main characters. Everyone from Im Seul Ong as the Crown Prince to little miss Kim Yoo Bin as Rang were stellar!! Will someone just give Song Jong Ho his own drama to be the lead already?!! I've been saying that since Princess's Man; repeated it for Reply 1997 and now Heaven's Order!! Enough is enough!! He was exciting to watch, funny and just carried every scene he was in; especially his back and forth with Kang Byul as Woo Young. Those two and their romance made the romance between Lee Dong Wook (Choi Won) and
Song Ji Hyo (Da In) pale in comparison! I think everyone who watched cared more about their relationship and that's simply because of chemistry. Sung Woong as Do Moon simply stood out to me throughout the drama as Da In's father's henchman. You wanted to hate him but simply couldn't help but love him and his beautiful (and real) mane of glory! I will remember his name for now on.

Overall, if you like the genre, it really is an easy drama to watch. Sure, the usual machinations of the royals and nobles but get past that, there are so many funny and fun moments to see and characters to fall in love with!!

I've said it once but I will say it again: I really love these pre-2000 Japanese dramas! The stories are concise, to the point and if you don't feel happy at the end, they've totally missed their mark. You definitely got the US Movie, "You've Got Mail" feeling but other than communicating with someone over email, that is where the stories differ.

I loved all of the main characters. I especially love Takenouchi Yutaka as Hata/Takashi. He was definitely a man who totally wanted to deny himself love. I've seen him in many dramas now and I must say, I've never NOT enjoyed his performance. This was my first time seeing Tanaka Misato as Amane. Her character was so damn sweet, I felt like I was having a sugar rush! There were sometimes I wished she had more of a backbone. But surprisingly, whenever she had dealings with Takashi, that was the only time you really saw the little tigeress come out. Oikawa Mitsuhiro as Yoshika will remain in my mind one of the worse stalkers I've seen in a drama. Despite his intentions, it drove me crazy! Watch it and see if you get the same vibe. Fujiwara Norika as Kaori; you wanted to hate her but I understood her the most but at least her character was acceptable.

Romance was stilted, only because you have to watch it but the romance in another sense was great and you definitely went away feeling their emotions. As this is an earlier work, this is not for everyone but I must say, it really, really was good!

I wouldn't call this a coming of age movie but more of what happens to friendships as we get older. These four young ladies have been friends for quite awhile and as you watch them in their daily lives, each different from the other and facing their own struggles. Hae Joo is the most fortunate one and is kind of inconsiderate of her friends whose circumstances are not the same as hers. Ji-Young seems to be the one that is the most dire as she lives with her grandparents in a dilapidated home in Inchon and she is feeling the pressures just to get by with life everyday. The others pretty much try to maintain their friendship but as you watch, you can see them drifting slowly apart. The cat, or really kitten which was a gift to Hae Joo from Ji-Young, kind of symbolizes the demise of their relationship as Hae Joo gives her the kitten back because she really doesn't want to care for it and so Ji-Young internalizes that as a rejection of their friendship. No, this is not a comedy by any means but a drama on friendships.

If you want cheese with those fries or more precisely tonkatsu and cake. Or more expressly said by Nobuko: Juicy tonkatsu and a pound cake! The sweetness of the mascarpone cheese is just perfect! Yes, if you want a cheesy drama to relieve you of the stress of that melodrama you just finished or that drama where the second lead you wanted to win the girl, loses; this is for you.

I admit I smiled and laughed a lot because of the corniness but I believe that is what the writer was going for. I think the title is SO appropriate! You have to see it to understand but the final lesson was great! You have to find your own happiness first.

The acting, well, its a cheesy, corny drama so the acting as you would expect is over the top but I bet won't come away hating anybody and just about loving every character. From Nobuko, with her silly self to Taiichi who is just a lovable mess! I guarantee, this is fun!

Rewatch? Oh No! Not me! But this was a damn good movie from start to finish. My appreciation for Kim Seung Woo as an actor is in the stratosphere! Jong Sik is about as corrupt as you can get. All sympathy for his daughter, of course. But the one who I must doubly applaud is Son Byung Ho as the horribly persecuted husband and father. What he brought to his character was simply sheer genius. Talk about cry me a river! He can't help but cry for his character, wife and daughter. So can I consciously recommend this? No. You have to have a strong mind and heart to get through this movie. Why? Because the violence, depiction of police corruption and other things that happen in this movie; not everyone can endure. But if you can, it is a GREAT MOVIE!

Okay, let me preface my review with the fact that you must be a lover of the crime/suspense/action genre. If you are not, this is not the drama for you.

Acting: What can I say, I was pleasantly surprised by all. I've seen them all in different works but in this collaboration between Jpn/Kor; they reined supreme. Takenouchi Yutaka as Shou/Takumi was phenomenal. As the gangster Shou, he played the role really well. I loved that! And boy is he a sexy man! Choi Ji Woo as Yuna was a treat! Except for movies, I'd never completed one of her dramas but as Yuna (the ever changing Yuna), she was on point. I would be remiss in leaving out Sato Ryuta as Hide. Afro-ed down and funny as hell!

Action: Okay, this is a dark. dark drama. You are talking about gangsters, crooked cops; no drama of this ilk would be complete without some serious action! No, no club and knives but serious gun action so the squeamish, beware.

Filming: A Lot of the shots are dark and I guess the director was trying to project darkness because of the subject matter

Romance: It was nicely done and I must say, very believable. You will definitely feel and experience as these two, Shou and Yuna fall for each other. It was also nice to see that they expressed that affection too with hugs, kisses, etc.

Twists: Talk about a roller coaster ride!! There are so many twists and turns in this drama, I guarantee, your head will spin like you are possessed. HAH! I'm kidding but you will be shocked, dismayed and pleasantly amazed at the number of twists in this story; well done.

Music: There really wasn't a lot of variations to the music; however, what was featured was very nice. I loved the songs that were featured and there were times that the instrumental music reminded me of one of my favorite movies called Ghost Dog; same beat. You'll be bopping your head from time to time listening to it.

Overall, the writer definitely closed this drama with a bang and I was very, very happy. But as usual with JDramas, you must watch until the very end. I'm always sad when I do not understand why a drama has a certain title. Now I know what Rondo means.

LOVED IT!! Completed in 2 days!

I don't know where to start! My drama friends have been trying to get me to watch this for awhile and I was hesitate when it was being broadcasted because I was watching too much drama. So finally I took the challenge of marathon watching this. Man, am I glad that I did. Let's start with the acting:

Everyone did a fantastic job! From Lee Jin Wook as Sun Woo to Jeong Dong Hwan as Choi Jin Cheul! I loved the way everyone played their parts and held your attention whenever they were on the screen. Jo Yoon Hee as Min Young was simply charming. I have to point out that my favorite was Sun Woo's buddy played by Lee Seung Jun was amazing! His portrayal of Han Young Hoon was STELLAR! He amazed me with his expressions, his tears, his joy, just about everything.

Music: I loved how you had a blend of every type of music from the 90's, whether it was western or korean; just about everyone was featured. I loved how the music fit the scene and helped, you the viewer feel what was going on in the scene.

Action: AMAZING!! That's all I need to say!!

Direction and Writing: This team of Director: Kim Byung-Soo and Writers: Song Jae-Jung, Kim Yoon-Joo; they must continue to work together. Studios? Just keep them together!! With this being their second work together (Queen InHyun's Man being the first), this is a team that no other can match!!

Romance: We got real kisses, folks!! Big smack-a-roos and deep soul kisses! I have no complaints on the romance! No deer in the headlights for this drama.

So is it worth 20 hours? Damn right!! Will you be bored? Most definitely not! The ending kind of left you open but what do you expect for time-travel where the cause and effects are definitely shown here brilliantly!! This is now my #1 favorite Fantasy drama!!

It's one thing for a single man to find out he has a daughter but to find out he is a grandfather too? Makes for a very, very cute movie. I must say, as usual Cha Tae Hyun does not disappoint in his movies. Playing Hyun Soo and watching his character evolve was precious and Park Bo Young? What a joy! This is my first time seeing her and I'll tell you what, if that was her singing, someone needs to give her a singing contract. I don't know if she was but whoever it was had a wonderful voice. And let's not forget little Wang Seok Hyeon as Ki Dong. So cute and so precious. Who wouldn't fall in love with him! If you want to watch a movie that at the end puts a smile on your face, this is it!!
