Sorry but I don't understand what the fuss all about, I really tried to like this drama but couldn't . I gave…
Not every drama will appeal to people. I experienced this drama very differently and that's okay but I disagree about your point that pretty people are all this drama has to offer. I watched the animated version before I ever watched the drama version, so I wasn't influenced by any pretty boys/girls. I was just curious about the worldbuilding and the characters, also a bit curious about how they would evade censors. As I was new to Chinese fantasy I did the effort of doing some research while watching by reading the manhua and reading up on some of the lore.
I found the story of sacrifice and loyalty to be intriguing so eventually I started the drama version. Not because of pretty people but because I put the effort into understanding it and saw value in the story its meant to convey. Some people don't want to have to spend more effort into watching a drama and thats okay too but again my main point is that its more than pretty visuals.
Heyya, so I've been watching cherry maho like crazy and I just realized that in ep 1, in the very first scene…
Yeah 1st episode and 12th episode Adachi with fluffy jacket are the same. He'll cycle to Kurosawa right after meeting with Tsuge likely.
As for the ending scene, it'd highly depend on the clothes Kurosawa wears. As soon as we see Kurosawa with those clothes in ep 12 we will know that the ending song is indeed connected. Otherwise it's seperate from the 12th episode.
Yeah it was pretty clear for a long time but I guess some saw it as a fun theory. It would be a shocking plottwist…
Oh I completely agree that being a virgin wouldn't make a difference in a real world romance. Its just that in the world of this drama, being a virgin would mean that Kurosawa is a magician too. So that's why we all mostly dislike that idea.
Kurosawa being a magician would mean that he heard all of Adachis thoughts and that he carefully selected his thoughts to make Adachi feel nervous. It'd make him a manipulator.
I think after Ep 11, now we can abolish the theory that Kurosawa is virgin , don't you think? When Adachi asks…
Yeah it was pretty clear for a long time but I guess some saw it as a fun theory. It would be a shocking plottwist but it'd be bad for the romance story.

XD Yeah it was a bittersweet memory to see those comments of ours again. I knew of a previous Youtube livechat that was posted so I was on the lookout for this one. A very international experience

Thanks einepriseglitzer! Also someone from China filmed that livestream chat from episode 11 and posted the ending scene. I know its tough to rewatch but I was surprised to see it was our livestream chat (multiple MDL users were there). https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1sf4y1e7bE
Its based on context. In episode 10 Kurosawa made sure Adachi knew the word''reward'' was meant to be a reference…
No idea about the exact translator for them, yes its a legitimate streaming site. Likely WeTv just doesn't hire very good Japanese translators or the translator is pushed to release it too quickly. Fansubbers usually take their subbing very seriously and take their time. They have more concern about keeping up a good reputation with their work as they usually receive direct feedback from watchers.

Yeah I think every translator takes a slightly different approach. There have been some WeTv translations in episode 11 I personally would've liked to see different because they express things slightly different from the true meaning. I'm sure fansubbers will fix it better.
The CM effect: Guys, I just started on Tuesday night! I was looking for some Jdrama and yt suggested "Nee Sensei".…
Welcome new watcher! I've been a CM survivor since before first ep aired. I watch most Japanese BLs and love weird jdrama plotlines (the weirder dramas keep my attention) so this seemed perfect. I still remember watching the first episode casually, a long time ago.
Then episode 3 hit and the rewatching cycle began, at first for theories or translations and now just as habit. I changed my profile picture to a Cherry Magic scene (for the sake of the CM cult here) and started CM data collection. I've since watched Kamen Rider Build, read the Ragna Crimson manga, read the Cherry Magic manga and also watched a bunch of Machida projects. Anyway asking for help here is of no use, most of us are also trapped XD Its nice to meet you too!
