well KR Build is a sunday children show morning show so dont expect acting. But Akaso's acting on KR Amazons S2…
As someone who watched Kamen Rider Build because of CM I agree with that. I did watch Mashin Sentai Kiramager (way more childish but I liked the gem-alien plotline) even before ever starting CM though so mayby I do kinda love these sorts of series in general.
Oh come on... does anyone really doubt that we'll get a happy ending in Ep. 12? Of course we will. It hasn't been…
I am a believer of the good end as well. They aren't gonna be like: ''Merry Christmas, here's a horrible ending for everyone!'' I think some viewers may have a different idea of what a happy ending is though so I do expect some disappointed people.
Okay here's the thing. I hate the whole "were breaking up over something stupid" plotline. I wish they didn't…
The special episodes are all taking place after the dramas ending. So they don't fit into the main storyline but are just extra content, they may reference certain story-plotpoints though. I don't think this drama can only end in 1 way but I get that people have different perspectives on the purpose of this drama. If Adachi and Kurosawa fix up their relationship then losing his virginity is a given. Not something I need to be made aware of specifically.
After reading several comments of this latest episode, I think many changed their rating and I think by the end…
Yeah, I made a post about warning thirst-fans about the future lack of fanservice around episode 9. It was obvious the series was gonna go the Ossans Love route. I'm still fairly positive about a potential kiss scene though. It'll likely just happen very very late and similar to Ossans Love.
This was an interesting episode and beyond sadness I think its good to look at the events of this episode again. So here is a long post about that.
I think that the majority of us was prepared for angst/trouble in episode 11. Calling it the episode 11 curse and all that. Kurosawa and Adachi broke up and things seem very bad. The episode was good in its execution though, very surprising and painful.
Kurosawa and Adachi love each other but both still have a lot of struggles. There is no magic in the real world, this episode 11 means to highlight that we humans in the real world have to be able to love without magic too. If you can't communicate in honesty, things will definitely not end well. This is a test to Adachi.
Chapter 1: Adachi and his struggles. Adachi is afraid of losing his magic, because when he loses magic he thinks he will lose Kurosawa eventually too due to not being able to intervent with his magic (like in episode 10). While Adachi used to dislike his magic he now knows how to use it to his advantage, getting praised by others for his insights and his approach. With the compliments of Kurosawa, Adachi thinks he has made a fake image of himself towards Kurosawa. Kurosawa felt that nobody saw beyond his perfect image, meanwhile Adachi feels that he has fooled the world with his magic into seeing him as a better person than he is. Showing that the two actually have something in common with their worries about their true selves not living up to expectations.
Adachi doesn't particularly like the perks of his magic but he thinks without magic he becomes a lesser person and not worth Kurosawas affection. Adachi was able to climb out of his shell very fast due to the magic he gained but that doesn't change his soft heart. Adachi is a kind person, he worries about burdening or pressuring others and this makes it much more difficult for Kurosawa to love him. As Adachi said himself, he is the type of person to crawl into his own shell when overwhelmed.
So for the scene during the dinner Adachis emotions gradually get out of control. When Adachi was about to kiss, he kept hearing Kurosawa think that Adachi was gentle and making all kinds of praises. However, Adachi at this point has been denying that he is worthy of praise and thinks that he does not deserve Kurosawa. Adachi thinks he is cheating with his magic and being deceiving. Towards the one who loves him and the one he loves. He doesn't see himself worthy of Kurosawas sincerity to him. The accumulated guilt of past events overwhelmed Adachi. He pushed Kurosawa away.
Adachi used all his courage to tell Kurosawa the truth of the situation. The tears are him being overwhelmed and not knowing an answer to the situation. He feels like he will either spend a life filled with guilt or Kurosawa and him will seperate because of Adachis current high dependance on magic. Kurosawa immediately accepts Adachis magic which surprises Adachi. Keep in mind that even Tsuge didn't believe him and that was his best friend. Adachi doesn't just not believe in himself, he still doesn't know how deeply he is loved even at his lowest. I'm sure if Adachi was more aware of the effect he had on Kurosawa without magic 7 years ago then he would be a little more confident.
Chapter 2: Kurosawas love
Kurosawas love for Adachi is obvious to anyone. Unknowing of the magic problem he has been trying to live a happy life with Adachi. Thinking that keeping Adachi happy would be his goal and not knowing that even such a mindset can create trouble in a case like with Adachi.
When he was pushed by Adachi his first response was to blame himself. Kurosawas principle has always been to keep Adachi smiling. So he went through pain alone for 7 years and he wouldn't do anything that bothered Adachi. Kurosawa knows of Adachis anxiety all too well. Since he became one of the factors that made Adachi anxious he chose to step back. He knew Adachi still held love for him so Kurosawa was the one who offered the option of breaking up. In order to prevent Adachi from suffering, he was the one who took that pain upon himself. For the person he loved 7 years.
Despite his pain Kurosawa still smiled at Adachi throughout the ordeal. Just like he has always done when he got rejected in the past. Seeing the one he loves crying because of himself breaks his heart. Kurosawa wanted to respond differently but he couldn't because he is taking Adachis wellbeing into consideration. Adachi pushes him away so he lets go. Both Kurosawa and Adachi were lost in emotions in this scene. Responding by instinct, Kurosawa let go out of love and Adachi fled away to his shell.
Chapter 3: The future We know its going to be Adachi making that step towards Kurosawa again. He is the one cycling towards him (on Tsuges bike) after all. Adachi needs to learn to trust Kurosawas love and to have some faith in his own achievements.
Adachi needs to believe that he is worthy of being loved, accept the love of the other person instead of carrying it on his back as a burden. Give yourself all the love, tell each other out loud instead of hiding it deeply. Kurosawas and Adachis love will bloom if they can do that.
Yes agreed, heavy alterations would be needed. Japan is just a unique case and it worked out lovely. Thai BL also usually favours using younger, less experienced actors. Some of them are definitely experienced but its not uncommon to see newcomers. Office BL would be something new for Thailand.

But yeah likely since they made Kurosawa go on and on about christmas which was going to be amazing
