It is a good drama. The main plot is good with very endearing FL. Unfortunately, I didn't like 80% of the humour, and didn't connect with most side characters apart from FL Mom, who is fantatsic, and the other OHY.
I found the brother and his young gf super annoying. The sister, apart from her more serious scenes, also very cringe. The show also dragged towards the end.
But, when it concentrated on the dialogues/interaction between the leads (also FL and her Mom) and their inner monolgues it was very good.
So, objectively, it is like 6.5. But, I enjoyed lots of things about it so bumping it to 7.

The last episode was very good. I had a nice cry lol. I really feel happy with how things ended, and glad that they managed to stick the landing.
I am though a person who doesn't evaluate the series based on last episode only.
The series had many flaws such as little chemistry between the leads, unfocused and muddled plot, and just overall poor pacing. But as a whole, it was a decent series worth the time. It had some interesting questions, and some excellent emotional scenes. The chemistry between female characters was very good as well.
6/10 (see my rating system for context if you wish)

Yes, unfortunately most users rate between 8 and 10 for any drama nowadays. Meaning an 8.7 is equal to slightly…
True. This is not easy or quick. It is developed over time.

I am curious though! I mean if FL wants to be close to ML and help him, she can actually try as a human instead…
Shutting off your logical brain is a requirement to enjoy this series lol
But, anyway, I don't think it would have worked, because his illness is partly psychlogical. If he knew from start she is human, he would have allergy. He was able to improve only because he thought she is a robot.

This was my first K-drama back in 2019, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I can't say it hooked me to K-dramas, but it made me aware how good they are, and started my gradual journey, until I reached 2023 where 80% of my TV are K-dramas.
I have recently re-watched my favourite parts. And I had a blast! I laughed and cried.
I have now watched about 30 K-dramas, but these two are still one of the best couples. Their chemistry is amazing.
Of course the plot is utterly ridiculous lol. It is easier to believe in Aliens invading than our ML believing that FL is a Robot, but who cares? lool.

After watching the masterpiece that is "My Mister", which I consider one of the best dramas I have ever watched in my life in any language, I decided to check this one, and in few months time MLN, because I thought the writing in "My Mister" was exceptional.
I have now watched 2 episodes.
My first impression is that it is decent, but not great. I just don't find most of the humour that good (Scenes with her boss , or ML Mom, are actually very cringy and not even funny imo). I liked more the dry humour (The FL Mom is great), but this writer is at her best when she writes contemplative and melancholic scenes. Those scenes are great, and one can see how she perfected them later in "My Mister".
I am certainly going to keep watching, but I am hoping to get more scenes with conversations instead of silly humour.

Nah. People are never satisfied with anything. Showing all kinds of hate to this unique beautiful drama. Even…
Why things have to be extreme?
Opinion on anything is a spectrum.
I can watch drama, and like some aspects of it and dislike others. Also, I can't stop watching every drama that I don't like something about, because I won't be able to watch anything.
Saying I don't like something about drama doesn't mean I am hating on it.

This all or nothing mentality is really annoying.

Same (Only My Mister got 10/10 from me), but I disagree about being generous. Rating inflation is not helpful at all. It only makes it pointless, and ultimately will hurt the genuinely good series.

I find the overall rating as totally useless indicator of how good is the drama. (Any drama, not only this one)
I rate for my own pleasure, and for those who might have similar taste.
The rating of 2 or 3 people of similiar taste and approach is more valuable to me than those of 20,000 random people.

His acting can get stiff in serious roles, he needs some humor like in Yumi's Cells or better yet action, even…
First time I have seen him was in Itaewon Class, and I thought he was a good villian(not spoiler. You know it from first episode), but also acted the weak moments really well there.
Here I just find him Ok.
But, to be fair to him, the lack of chemistry is not his fault. That is on the person who cast these two as romantic couple.

I have absolutely no issue with you loving this show. I even envy you.

But, not sure how giving 10/10 to 35 shows out of 61 completed is picky?

I can’t help but think that if this show had another actress play the FL maybe there would be more spark to…
For the record. Both SHS & Kim Tae-Ri (yes, she was fantastic in 2521) are in my top 5 Koren actresses. I think they are both amazing.
Now, to your comment. In my opinion 99% of the time, chemistry is something you can't define. It is not about acting, or writing. It is not even about how beautiful/handsome actors are. It is just that for some reason two people look very good together on screen (roantically or otherwise).
So, for that reason, I think the lack of chemistry is the casting director, or the director's fault. Basically, whoever decided that these two should be the romantic lead. Screen tests should have told that person that these two have no, or very little chemistry.
So, I don't know whether Kim tae-Ri would have saved the day.
The other problem is the writing& directing. I haven't read the webtoon, so I can't comment, but the series is poorly paced. It is slow burn for long time, and then suddenly turn up the heat to max. And the writing is certainly not great. I don't know whether the writer was forced to do all these plotlines or s/he did it on her/his own.

The final point is a matter of taste, but I find almost all the good scenes have SHS in them as long as she is not with the ML. She has chemistry with her "niece" and sister, but sadly not with Seo-ha. Personally, I find the actor just Ok. But that is just me.

It makes no sense, but this is done to help viewers.Previous lives, apart from 17th and 18th are not that significant…
While I am not in love with the series (I still find it watchable though), I am not that bothered by this.
I think this is done under the banner of "Spoon feeding". This is something tons of dramas and movies from all the world are guilty of.

But, I also suspect they are using the main characters faces to heighten the emotions and the impact.
Whether that is the right artistic choice or not is open to debate and individual.

There are quite a few things that I don't think are done well with this show (though don't let that affect you…
It makes no sense, but this is done to help viewers.
Previous lives, apart from 17th and 18th are not that significant to the story (I haven't read the webtoon) other than showing all kind of stuff that our MC went through.
17th &18th is very easy to follow.
But 1st life looks like lots of our current characters are involved. So, to make it clear to viewers they have the same faces as in 19th life.
At least that is how I see it.

I read some posts below that just boggles the mind. If you end up over analysing eerything about ages and logic,…
" Your endless gripes diminish the great work of the cast to crew. I only hope they dont read them."
I just would like to comment on this part, and this is a general point not related to this drama in particular.
As long as there is no personal attack, I don't see why viewrse should not criticise the drama?
This forum is to exchange opinions.
Also, I completely disagree that criticism diminsh the work. Personally, I don't take reviewers who give lots and lots of shows 10 seriously.
Praise is much more valuable when it is mixed with criticism. If everything is great and wonderfull why we even have reviews?
Sometimes writers spend 10 or 15 years writing a book. But, unfortunately, that still doesn't mean it is a good one.
The amount of efforts someone put into something is not a guarntee of its quality. I know this sounds very heartless, but you know it is true.
As I said, as long as you don't attack them personally, people should be allowed to criticise art.

What is with Hye Sun's acting here? She's usually great but her tone and inflection when speaking with the ML…
Eventhough I think the series is merely decent, and has too many weaknesses ( almost zero chemistry between the leads, pacing is off and crowded stroylines) SHS acting is still great.
Your observation is accurate, but to me looks realistic because she was older than him in her previous life and took care of him.

I think it would have been even better if he didn't become that good, because frankly it is very unrealistic.
I think the message would have been even more powerful.
Pursue what you love even if you are not particularly great in it.

I think this could have worked better as a movie, or 8 episodes drama.

Aaah My Mister, I keep contemplating to watch that. Is it that good GOOD? I heard that the writer is the one who…
I am almost 50 years old, and I have been watching Tv series for decades from around the world. Even with recency bias (I got fully into Kdrama only about 1-2 years ago), I can say that "My Mister" is one of the best series I have ever seen. Also, it is even better on the second viewing.
