I am really happy to see Yoon Kyung getting more attention. She was really good in EAW. I think it is a matter of time before she land a leading role.
Their scene at the bar together was SO good.

I have watched and enjoyed American shows for decades, so I am not going to suddenly call them bad. They also can provoke lots of emotions.
But, even an average Korean drama provokes strong emotional response from me. Hell, even in comedies there are parts where I tear up.
And, I LIKE this. I like to feel things.
Korean dramas have their own problems, and certain things American shows do better, but I love how Korean dramas focus mainly on relationships, and despite all their reputation about being about romance, they actually do non-romantic relationships VERY well.

I kind of agree. I don't think the drama is great, BUT I am enjoying very much the acting, and some scenes might be a bit cliche, but they are very well acted, and made me feel very emotional.

Btw..was that scene real or imaginary? I am leaning towards the second.
It would have been strange for her mom to let her go so fast and easily.

Regardless though. My tears were going down my cheek.

I am also Arabic native speaker, and had the same reaction. I was amazed how well she pronounced things at the end of that conversation.

Damn! those South Korean writers aided by excellent acting are experts in making viewers cry :)
For me, this is one of the main reasons I keep watching K-drama over Hollywood. They always make me feel things.

I think she was punished reasonably enough.
Personally, I don't think her biggest sin was cheating. PDH is a wonderfull human being, but not a great husband. That doesn't justify cheating, but shall we say, there are mitagating circumstances.
For me the worst thing she has done was her willingness to go with the original plan of sacking for bribery. THAT was much worse than cheating imo.

Side note: The actress was amazing though, and the scene when they finally fight is one of my top favourite ones.

Although cold and with disregard to people, she was above all pitiful.

But, I would have paid serious money to see "Mama" Shin Hye Sun as a dudebro in Iceland lol. She would have nailed that role.

Their on screen chemistry is million times better than ML &FL.
Their scenes together are effortless. They play off each other so well.
I don't mind watching them in a movie where the two of them just talk.

E2 was certainly an improvement. The story is starting to take a shape.
Eventhough I am watching because SHS in it, I can't shake the feeling that she is wrongly cast. I also don't feel chemistry between the leads.

I found it acceptable, but not great. I am going to keep watching because SHS in it.
SHS acting is great as usual(her scene with those fortuntellers was amusing), but I don't like her look. I think black hair suits her much more.

I am watching this purely because SHS in it, but I have to say that little kid and "Court Lady Choi" scene in the restaurant was the best thing in the episode.

I am not familiar with the source material so I can't comment on that, but these two have very low chemistry together.

First impression: It is Ok, but nothing really gripping. I am watching this because of Shin Hye Sun. I hope it will get better.
I know this is very shallow, but the hair colour doesn't suit SHS. She looks much better in her natural black imo.

I have just finished my second viewing of this drama (first time was last year).
I think it is an underrated one. Itmanages to tackle very well modern issues with more realistic take, but also keep some fluff and lightheartdness.
The ending of Ha Rang & Won Seok line was little bit rushed, but not that bad to ruin it.
I have watched only about 30K-dramas, but at the moment it is my overall number 4.

It is always personal.
I have looked at your Watchlist. While we do agree on some, we largely disagree.
So, considering I gave it 6/10 (Decent according to my rating system), there is a very good chance that you like it lol.

Finished episode 10

This drama has been getting gradually worse. Luckily, it is still watchable, and I will finish it, but nowhere as good as the first few episodes.
Certain things happened that were more unbelievable than Time Travel lol.

My Mister is a genuine masterpiece. One of the best dramas I have ever seen in any language.
