There is something odd about this show. Acting and plot etc is fine but I cant place it. The filming is weird, seems old but it not. Visually its odd to me. Reminds me of British shows for some reason but I dont know why. I tried to look this up and all I got was something about filming at a different FPS than usual. Idk. Wish I could convey things better lol.

A lot better than I was expecting. Very funny. I dont usually laugh out loud, I typically do it internally for most dramas but this one really made me audibly laugh. The romance was adorable along with Sol omg Sol such a cute baby lol.

If its ok to change the story by adding a sister to Mulan then its equally ok to make other changes including making the main villain a woman. The main part of the story about a woman entering in a "mans world" is still there, along with a woman being strong enough to attain power to be the main villain as well, since its not just guys who can get that strength. And its ok for women to be villains too. I would love to see more of them.
Ideally for me, they should remove the sister and keep the villain as a guy since I do not like unnecessary changes at all. And keep the music. Or make the tone more serious remove the music but change nothing else.
Why did episode 2 have previews of scenes for episodes 3, that never happened in episode 3? Will the rest of the episodes be this way with their next episode previews?
Really cute drama. The main leads relationship was funny and adorable. One of the more realistic age gap dramas. Secondary characters were alright I guess.

I think the issue with live action anything, particularly in Japan, is they try to copy the visuals of the manga/anime 100%. So if there is a character with an impossible absurd hairstyle and clothes, and weapon or whatever, its now in the live action. Instead of toning things down and keeping things within reason they go all out. I dont know if this is considered a good thing in Japan or not but I dont like it, even with movie adaptation here in the USA with video games like DOOM for example. Though USA has its own issues, mainly using the name but following 0% of the source material, like with the Silent Hill movie and Resident Evil. Same in the west Ghost in the Shell.
Also cant shove anything meaningful story wise using the source material into a 2 hour movie. Hell some movies are even less. Also budget issues and cheap CGI.

But if the cast said there will be no romance...then there is no need to see what the episodes bring. Tag is unneeded. I do wish there was a bit of romance.

Still looks great, cant wait. Been wanting to see Seo Ye Ji again for while.
