Didn't mention, but I'm in Japan and we visited Himeji castle. It's the only castle in Japan that has not been destroyed by fires or natural disasters, or other instances throughout history. That being said, it has been renovated to keep it standing. The view is absolutely incredible, especially at sunset. Highly recommend...
