Congrats on your article! :) I enjoyed reading it! :)
China has master storytellers that write beautiful stories which are then adapted to screen.
For me, its hard to beat Gu Man. She's phenomenal. I've read 3 of her novels: Love 020, Shan Shan come and Eat aka Boss & Me and You are My Sunshine and I loved them! She's an amazing writer and all 3 dramas had great scripts and performances to match!
Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Thousand Miles of Peach Blossoms by Tang Qi Gong Zi was perfect and the drama matched that perfection to every detail!
General and I aka A Lonesome Fragrance Waiting to Be Appreciated by Feng Nong was a great reading and on my opinion the drama was well accomplished.
Princess Agents aka 11 Chu Te Gong Huang Fei by Xiao Xiang Dong Er was also amazing. The drama to my great disappointment didn't portray the novel in full.
I have recently finished reading Jie Ai·Yi Ke Feng Huan aka The Love Knot: His Excellency's First Love by Shi Ting Rou which is currently airing. I loved the book and I'm loving the drama as well particularly Huang Jing Yu!
If you have a chance to read those novels, I recommend! They're wonderful readings! :)
I have watched every single one of these series, but the Taiwanese version definitely remains my all-time favourite,…
I'm like you. A new version comes out and I have to watch it! It's kind of like Pride and Prejudice. A new version comes out and I have to watch it! I might drop it if I don't like it but I still give it a try! :)
Sadly the only one I've completed is Playful Kiss... I should finish Kiss Me.
Yes, it's good!!! :) If you have a chance as well, give It Started with A Kiss a try. The drama is a bit old but it's a classic with 2 seasons and it's really good as well! :) It's very iconic albeit kind of semi vintage now in the universe of INK versions and adaptations!
I did not know there is an older version than "It Started With A Kiss" until I read this article, which is a 1996…
The Taiwanese version is really good! It was the first version I've watched and I loved it. I didn't really think another version could or would top it up for me but it did, one version. It Started with a Kiss though will always remain special and close to my heart!!! :)
This is my way of listing it (for my order of preference):-1. Kiss Me2. Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo (1&2)3.…
Undoubtedly Kiss Me 1st hands down. I totally agree with you!
7th place however...for me...Playful Kiss had and has that honour! It was very hard to stomach it and I am still baffled as how I didn't get indigestion after watching those 16 episodes and 7 Youtube Specials.
Saying that, I understand its appeal and its popularity internationally.
Kim Hyung Joong was very popular and to some, considered extremely handsome which added to the appeal of the drama.
:) By the way, I liked your list. I wanted to mention it first but I was caught up on Kiss Me as I really loved that version and then I was caught up on writing about my least favourite so yeah...
Your list is different from mine except for wondeful and amazing number 1 but I really liked it and I also liked your comment a lot! :) You are also very brave as you're still watching Say That You Love Me and I couldn't finish it!
I look forward to reading more comments of yours in forthcoming articles!!! :)
:) Thank you so much!!! :) I loved reading your comment!!! :) Indeed, we can't get away from INK. Once a fan,…
:) I meant every word I said. You should definitely write!!! :)
Kiss Me is good, well, I thought it was really good and I enjoyed it a lot not only for the acting, but also the script. The drama was wonderfully accomplished and the fact that it wasn't a carbon copy of every other INK version made it really interesting and special for me! The only thing I have to say I was disappointed with was the fact that it didn't have a season 2 but I've learnt how to live with that!
This article is very well written, but I do have to chime in about the part where it is implied that Itazura na…
Thank you for enjoying the article's writing style and for your opinion! :) I truly enjoyed reading it and I look forward to your forthcoming comments in future articles! :) Thank you again!!! :)
I am not particularly a fan of this story . I mean the part where she is so obsessed that she stalks him and what…
I liked it too! That version s1 and s2 really gave me a 2nd lead syndrome though no matter how much I like Joe Chang and I like him a lot but Jiro Wang <3 stole the show every time!

Aomike in Full House were good! :)
Have you watched Kiss Me, the Thai version? If you have did you like it? If you haven't, check it out and tell me what you think!
In regards to the movies, the cast was done extremely well and I agree with you, it would really good if the leads collaborated again.
Also if you haven't thought about writing articles, you should. You write very well!
