I agree with only the first 3 for now (haven't watched the rest yet, but Reply 1988 I plan to soon), especially…
If you plan to watch the Reply series, save the 1988 one for last. I liked the 1st one, the 2nd was just okay, but the 3rd one was wonderful and my personal fav.
I just finished watching it too. I think that ending is sometime in the future. Ibuki is looking at the people…
I don't know if I agree with you. CPT (cognitive processing therapy) is very good and patients often see amazing improvements in their quality of life within a year of starting therapy. Mei was horrified that her obsession with Ibuki almost killed Mutsumi so she would have been highly motivated to change her behavior. I'm not saying Mei is "cured" of her trauma, I'm saying that she learned to stop the trauma from holding her back.
A high school drama with a mental health twist. Some things here don't make much sense e.g. where are the parents?…
I just finished watching it too. I think that ending is sometime in the future. Ibuki is looking at the people who were important to her during her freshman year of high school. Mutsumi is physically healthy and playing sports. Mei is mentally healthy. has a group of friends, and is popular. Nao is still his charming self, but now he's more comfortable in his skin. Last but not least Ibuki is happy!
Sigh, I really thought we were finally getting some nice LGBTQ+ representation only to see the female lead end…
This story was a nice representation of LGBTQ+, it just turned out that one of the female leads wasn't gay. We still have Nao who's Bi-possible and Mie who's probably ACE.
1) Meteor Garden. The one with Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu, and Ken Chu. 2) Don't let the bad production value stop you from watching some of the older dramas. There was a freedom to them you don't see anymore. The Rose, Mars, and Autumn's Concerto are good examples of dramas I don't think would be made today in Tiawan. Don't be surprised at the amount of skinship that happens, even in early T-dramas couples did more than hold hands and give back hugs. In They Kiss Again, the balcony honeymoon love scene is one of the best I've ever watched. Don't be surprsed at multipule endings. Sometimes a drama will have one ending that's a tragidy, and one where they show them living happily ever after... I guess you get to pick the one you like best.
Is this one of those shows where the female character is surrounded by multiple male characters who are all better…
No. Each member of the team is the best at what they do. Kystal's character is a highly skilled pickpoket, a very good locksmith, and a badass racer. If it has wheels she can drive the hell out of it. The best thing is that she dresses like a normal person; no fugly /sexy/little girl clothes, her hair and make-up look good and her wardrobe is a "pants and sneakers" look. The other members of her team treat her like a little sister.
Firstly, I'll give my overall opinion on the drama. This kept me entertained all the way through. I love xianxia…
It's a C-drama. Since when do they care about reducing the number of episodes? There is probably another reason they cut them. Chinese censorship is weird...
