This is the first drama I binge watched for 2018. I was trying to look up what to watch on Netflix and it popped up on my recommended list. I initially watched this for Lee Suhyun. I love her voice. But then I liked the other characters too. I've always heard of Kwon Young Deuk as one of YG's main dancers but I've never really paid attention to him until now. This was a really cute drama. I like watching these kinds of dramas. Most of the time, some fans think that idols are just born the way they are. They don't think about the pressure that some of them go through. How hard they work for their dreams. They are people just like you and me. They go through hardships too.

STORY:
It is a mini drama with only 5 episodes so it was a bit fast paced. It's about who music producer who went on hiatus then decided to come back and gathered a bunch of hidden gems together to make a new idol co-ed group. They all had some issues to deal with so the producer sets out to find ridiculous ways to get them to overcome it. This show made me laugh out loud a bunch of times. It's a bit cliched but I like cliche. :D

ACTING/CAST:
I always like seeing idols expand their wings. I like how they can showcase their other talents other than singing. Lee Suhyun was the reason I watched this but then I enjoyed watching the others too. I've never heard of Kwon Hyun Bin till I watched this drama. I haven't seen Produce 101. I've seen Kim Hee Jung in other dramas before. I knew Hwang Seong Eon looked familiar and then while I was looking at her drama list, I saw that she was in Love For A Thousand More, which is another one of those dramas featuring YG artists. Kim Min Kyo is always funny in the other dramas I've watched before. Kwon Young Deuk is really cute in this drama too. Haha as Chanhyuk is just funny as hell. Can't help compare YZ's CEO to the real YG though.

MUSIC:
I really like their debut song, Red Carpet. And I also liked the song Hyun Bin sang in I think the end of episode 2 and the song that Suhyun sang at the end of episode 3. I also liked Ice Cafe.

REWATCH VALUE:
Definitely.

OVERALL:
I gave it a 9. It's not the best mini drama but it's definitely worth watching.

I love this drama. If you want to watch a drama but don't really have much time to invest in it, this is a pretty good alternative. Although it is 20 episodes, each episode is only 30 minutes long. Usually when they're short dramas, it feels like the story gets rushed in the end. I didn't think that was the case with this one.

THE STORY
A bratty actress finds herself transported to ancient times where she meets a guy who is the complete opposite of everything she wanted. It reminded me of The Queen & I where the girl is from modern times and the guy is from years in the past.

THE CAST
Everybody did a great job. The chemistry between Jonghyun and Seungyeon were on point. And hearing about them being in We Got Married made me want to watch the episodes. I ship these two now. They're so cute together. The other characters were great too. Even the supporting casts.

THE MUSIC
The music is why this wasn't a perfect 10 for me. It didn't really have enough songs to be memorable.

REWATCH VALUE
I will definitely re-watch this. So good.

OVERALL
My final rating is 9.5. I totally recommend this.

I cried through almost all the episodes. This drama reminds me of an American movie I watched a long time ago. It's called "If Only".

THE STORY
I don't even know how to describe it without spoiling the show. After reading the comments, I thought the ending would be bad but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In the beginning, it seems like it's the same as every time slip drama you've seen before. But they actually made changes to make it unique in it's own. way.

THE ACTING
I liked all the characters. I love L. I agree with the comment that he needs to be in more dramas where he is the main lead. The girl is pretty good too. The little girl, who plays angel demon, I love her. She's so cute. Of course, Kang Nam Gil, I love it when he plays the lovable dad.

THE MUSIC
I love the OST. I can listen to it over and over. Infinite is one of my favorite bands and Myungsoo aka L is my first bias in the group.

REWATCH VALUE
I can definitely see myself re-watching this. Even though I cried multiple times, I think the story is short enough that I can revisit it later on.

OVERALL
I gave it a 9 because I didn't feel like it's the best drama I've seen. If you're not ready to commit to a regular long drama, then I definitely recommend watching this. It's short and sweet.

I really liked this drama. It's nice and short but it didn't feel like it was rushed.

THE STORY
The story is about an obese guy who decides to undergo plastic surgery to try to win back the girl who left him at the altar. There is a connection between all the main characters. Having a fat turn into a handsome guy is not a common theme you see in most dramas. I'm not a big fan of plastic surgery for myself. I don't really care what others do. The ending was satisfying for me.

THE CAST
I haven't watched too many t-dramas so I'm not as familiar with the actors. But I think the main characters played their roles well.

THE MUSIC
The music was okay. Nothing really special.

REWATCH VALUE
I would totally re-watch this. It was cute and nice and short. Good for getting out of a drama slump.

OVERALL
I gave it a 9. I took a point because they have a bunch of annoying characters.

I tried to think of something I didn't like about the drama and I couldn't think of any. For those that don't know me, all my dramas, when I first start watching them, starts with a rating of 10. Then I deduct points or half points as the story progresses when I don't like something. And as I finished, I couldn't think of anything that I didn't like.

THE STORY
The story was good. It sort of gave me a Snow White vibe, especially the Mirror part. For me, I think the pacing was great and the sweet moments gave me the right amount of feels. The action part was pretty good too.

THE ACTING/CAST
The acting was great. After reading The Lunar Chronicles, (any readers out there? anyone? no?) anyways, Song Yoon Ah's character reminded me of Levana or I guess in Snow White, the evil stepmother. But I sort of compare her more to Levana. In the Lunar Chronicles, she was evil but there was also a side of her that was misunderstood by many. Ji Chang Wook is always awesome. I've loved him since I watched him in Healer. Yoona was good too.

THE MUSIC
That opening scene music always reminded me of Star Wars for some reason. (Sorry, not sorry, I am proud to admit I'm a nerd).

REWATCH VALUE
I wouldn't mind re-watching this again. Not so soon though, but maybe someday later.

OVERALL
Like I said. I couldn't think of anything I didn't like from the drama. Even the side characters were endearing. And the ending was good for me. Better than the ending of the one drama of Yoona's that I watched.

It's finished. I can't believe it's done. Some people said that this drama dragged a lot but not for me. I thought the pacing was ok. Some people said it should have ended at ep 16 but I don't think so. The end was... I guess if it was me, I would have done it differently. Nevertheless, what they did was beautiful. It makes me tear up just thinking about it. I haven't watched many sageuks but this is one of my favorites.

THE STORY
The story for me is one I haven't really seen or read yet. Maybe it's one of the reasons why I liked it so much. It was pretty original for me. An unfortunate princess born with a curse and an unfortunate guy born as a bastard of a prominent family. You just feel sorry for them in the beginning. Then you kinda fall in love watching them try to go after every obstacle thrown in their way. I love the cinematography and the costumes are so colorful.

THE ACTING/CAST
I have no complaints. Every single actor did a magnificent job in my opinion, even the guy who played Heo Ok. He played the annoying, cowardly spoiled privileged son perfectly. A lot were turned off because of the age gap between the main leads but I didn't care. I think they had great chemistry. They played their part well. And the writers took into account of her age, in my opinion, so there weren't any heavy, weird skinship scenes. Just cute fluffy romance scenes. I've always loved Kim Sae Ron's acting. She's one of those actresses that get better as she grows older. I don't think I've ever watched a show that she did that I didn't like. Yoon Shi Yoon, omg... he's just too cute. Kwak Shi Yang, he was the guy I liked in Perseverance Goo Haera. Lee Yi Kyung and Do Hee, I shipped them hard.

THE MUSIC
There's only 4 songs in the OST but I am in love with Lush's "Kite". I can play it over and over and the chorus of Lim Jung Hee's "Distressed/Moon(Sadness)", I just love the lyrics.

REWATCH VALUE
I would definitely re-watch this. I really liked the plot, the characters and to listen to the 2 songs mentioned above.

OVERALL
I was debating on whether I would deduct points for the ending. But the more time that I think about it, the more I think that it was a fitting ending. So 10 out of 10.

I thought I'd write a review for this drama since the only other review is one that I don't agree with. I finished the drama a few days ago and I already miss the cast members. I didn't think the story is boring. It's kinda slow paced but it's like really short episodes. It's not like you have to wait until the every end of the series to find out the plot ending. It's like reading or should I say watching short stories. I tried watching the original Japanese version but I had to stop at episode 1 for a while, I couldn't find the motivation to watch the next one. Unlike this version where I couldn't wait to watch the next episode.

STORY
The story revolves around a restaurant that's only open from 12 midnight to 7 in the morning. He doesn't really have a menu, if he has the ingredients, he'll make you whatever you want. The whole show is about the people that come and go through the restaurant. In all the times that he's been the proprietor of the restaurant, Master (that's what his customers call him), has met interesting people. His regular customers get their story told too. Some episodes are not as memorable as the rest.

ACTING/CAST
I actually watched this drama for Nam Taehyun. I really think he's not that bad of an actor. He acts the way he's supposed to act, I think. But the other actors are great too.
Kim Seung Woo as Master, I think did a good job to appear the friendly restaurant owner.
I love the regular customers who pop up from time to time.
Nam Taehyun plays Minwoo, a student who has so many part time jobs.
Choi Jae Sung who plays Ryu, the mysterious gangster with a heart of gold.
Jung Han Hun (Mr. Kim, the fisherman) & Joo Won Sung (quack doctor), I love their friendly banter.
Jin Seo Yun as Cherry, she works at the bar close by
Park Jun Myun as the manga writer
Ban Min Jung, Song Hwa Ryeong & Jang Hee Jung as the Noodle sisters. Compared to their Japanese counterparts, I like them better.
Son Sang Gyeong as Deongchi, Ryu's scary looking but kinda like a big teddy bear bodyguard.
At the end of most episodes, there's like scenes of his customers going home. I cried seeing the very last one because the show made me like the camaraderie between all of them.
There were a lot of the well known actors as guests like Ji Jin Hee, Oh Ji Ho, Seo Woo, Ahn Jae Wook, Lee Ki Woo etc.

MUSIC
There's not really that much of a music. But I love the opening song "Till the Morning Comes" by Younha.

REWATCH VALUE
Definitely! The episodes are only 30 minutes and like I said, I really like the cast. They made me laugh, they made me cry.

OVERALL
Compared to the original version, I'd rather watch this than that one. I maybe k-drama biased but I really think the original was more boring.

Ok, this is one of my favorite dramas of 2015. I read some of the reviews before writing this and I was like... really? This drama gave me a ton of feels and kept me looking forward to the next episode each week. Compared to the other airing drama that I was watching with this which is still stuck on ep 3 (sorry High Society), this one, I was supposed to watch with my friend but I could never wait for her so we ended up watching this separately.

STORY
Byun Ji Sook is a hard worker trying to help her family get out of debt. Seo Eun Ha is a rich girl who doesn't really have to work hard for anything. They look alike but their not related. Circumstances happen that end up with Byun Ji Sook taking over Seo Eun Ha's life. How long can you keep a secret? How long till living a lie eats you up inside. A story about greed, revenge, family politics. This story has everything, romance, mystery, drama, intrigue, slice of life. Whenever a drama takes me on an emotional roller coaster, it's a good one for me.

ACTING/CAST
Soo Ae was pretty good at portraying two characters who are polar opposites from each other. I've only seen her in one other show and it was the movie "Sunny" which I can't really say I liked her acting there. I can't remember her acting there. >_<
Joo Ji Hoon, what can I say, I just love him. I love his stares and this acting reminds me of when he was Prince Lee Shin in "Goong".
Yoo In Young was pretty good at playing the annoying older sister. She has the perfect villainess look. :D
Yeon Jung Hoon, now this guy wore his mask real well. I don't know how he could keep lying with a straight face all throughout the drama. He is one of the characters I love to hate. I just wanted to shake him.
Hoya, I saw him in "Reply 1997" and I like him in Infinite. But this drama, I really loved him more. He wasn't like in a lot of scenes but in the ones he were in, he's showing some promise with his acting.
Jo Yoon Woo, I want him as my secretary :D. He really cares for his boss and he's just too darn cute.

MUSIC:
Lyn's song "Just One Day" I can just keep listening to it over and over. Navi's "Tell Me A Lie" is pretty good too. I really like the instrumental during the Ji Sook/Min Woo moments.

RE-WATCH VALUE:
Yes, I would re-watch this. I like watching the main characters' journey of overcoming the multiple obstacles to their happiness. How they did their best to protect the ones they love.

OVERALL:
I would recommend it. If you like a little mystery, intrigue, romance with great actors then this drama is a good one to watch.

How do I start this review? I've seen so many mixed comments, it's not even funny.

Personally, I really enjoyed this drama. There were a few scenes I could have done without but I think they did a good job considering the other 12 episode musical drama I watched made me shake my damn head so many times at the ending. Like that ending didn't make sense to me. This one though, I think the way they tied up the loose ends in the story was enough for me. I think I know why some people thought it was a waste of time. i think it's a matter of preference. Some were expecting something, while I was sort of had an inkling of how it was going to end. (It's so hard to write a review without spoilers >_<)

The story:
It is not the best written story in k-drama land, but I think they were able to live up to their title. The story is about perseverance, about not giving up no matter how many times you fail. There were a few scenes that I could've done without but it gave me enough emotions that I liked too. The bromance, the relationships, family, I liked them.

The acting/cast:
I am not a big fan of Min HyoRin who plays the main protagonist, Gu HaeRa. She wouldn't be my first pick for the role. She was a bit lacking, in my opinion. But the 2 main guys though, Kwak ShiYang who plays Kang SeJong & Jung JinYoung who plays Kang SeChan/Ray, were pretty good at their roles. SeJong singing...I fell for him right away. I really liked their scenes. I love the other members of the Perseverance team. Lau Henry, who plays Henry, his awkwardness and sometimes tactless moments were too funny. Yoo Seung Eun, who plays Lee WooRi, her voice is just great. And ParK Kwang Seon did a great job at playing his character too.

The music:
I love, love love the music. If you don't like the story, just watch it for the performances. I just love all the songs. Yoo Seung Eun's cover of Jasmine Flower, Perseverance Team's cover of Sixth Sense, Yoo Seung Eun's "I Love You" and more.

Re-watch value:
Would I watch it again? I think so. I really love the performances and the story wasn't bad.

Overall:
9.5 It''s not perfect but it's not bad and I enjoyed it.

One of the best dramas, I've seen this year. Last year, there were some dramas that started out promising but then fell flat towards the end. This one though, I love the pacing, there was no unnecessary scenes, in my opinion. I know some people think the end was lacking but I thought it was great,

Here's a breakdown of my review.

THE STORY - a story about a guy who has D.I.D. (Dissociative Identity Disorder) also known as a multiple personality disorder, meets a psychiatric resident. Together they help each other put the separate identities back together. This is one of those dramas where I was really happy with the writers. The plot was well thought out, and like I said above, there weren't really any unnecessary scenes. This drama made me laugh, cry, scream. For me, any drama that can put me in an emotional rollercoaster and give me all the feels is an A+.

THE ACTING/CAST - I've watched Ji Sung in Protect the Boss & My P.S. Partner. I enjoyed his acting then, and I still enjoy his acting in this one. The way he portrayed each of his split personalities was awesome. Hwang Jung Eum, I haven't really watched her in anything. Well, it said on her profile, that she was in Potato Star, but it was such a minor role, I can't even remember her there. She was pretty cool in this drama. My other favorite actor in this drama was Park Seo Joon. I've never seen him in anything other than Bang Yong Gook's MV, "I Remember". But I love him in this drama. I didn't really have second lead syndrome in this one.

THE MUSIC - All the songs in the OST are awesome. They captured the right emotion for each scene. And "Auditory Hallucination" by Jang Jae In feat. Na Show has a special place in my heart.

REWATCH VALUE - Yes! Heck yes! I will re-watch this drama again. It was just one of those dramas that didn't really let me down.

OVERALL - 10 out of 10. Like I said one of the best dramas for 2015. This drama gets two thumbs up. :D

I was hesitant to watch this because I knew the ending is gonna kill me. War movies rarely end well. And since this was based on a true story, I did know how it was going to end. I watched it because I was trying to watch all of Choi Seung Hyun's (T.O.P.) movies. I love him. I've been a fan of him since he's in Bigbang, my favorite Kpop boy group. And after watching his movies, I love him even more.

THE STORY
71 Into The Fire is a story based on real life story of 71 student soldiers who fought for 11 hours defending the Pohang Dong girl's middle school while waiting for reinforcements. I'm not really a big fan of war movies. I cry at the simplest things and this movie is about students who were young and untrained and were expected to fight for their country. I admire their courage. I wouldn't know the first thing to do if I was in their place.

ACTING/CAST
Like I said, I'm a big fan of Choi Seung Hyun. I watched this movie mainly because of him. He was really good at his role as Oh Jeong Beom. He was saddled with the responsibility of leading the 71 students left behind. Kwon Sang Woo as Gu Kap Jo was pretty good too. He plays the role of the one who hates following rules. Cha Seung Won as the North Korean Commander Park Murang was good too. I thought all the actors were pretty great. They were able to capture my heart at least.

MUSIC:
There wasn't really any music. There were instrumental pieces. What few the movie had, fit the scene it was in.

REWATCH VALUE:
Am I gonna watch it again? Hell yes. This is one of my favorite movies by T.O.P. His acting was spot on. I just need to make sure I got tissues. ^_^.

OVERALL:
10 out of 10. If you want to watch a good war movie, then this is the movie for you.

OMG...How do I even start with this review? I just love this movie.

First and foremost, I have not seen the first movie or the remake and I've never played Go-Stop or whatever the card game they were playing. But even if I've never played, I just like seeing the good and bad of gambling. Well, mostly bad, because I don't really gamble. Anyways, I've been wanting to see this movie for a long time and it's finally here.

The Story: Ham Dae Gil, I think he's the nephew of the main guy in the first movie, shows talent in gambling at a young age. I love how he's cocky but at the same time he has a heart. Things go well for him but then it goes south too. I like how he cared about his friends.

The Acting/Cast: Choi Seung Hyun...what else can I say? I love him. This is the movie I was waiting for. One word, TOPless. Finally I get to see what he hides beneath his shirts. >_<. I don't know, I love his character here. His cocky smirk, how he just kills me with his stares and I love his voice. Shin Se Kyung was ok. She did play her part well. I kinda like the 2 ahjusshi's that helped them towards the end. I also loved Mr. Go.

The Music: There's not really that much music, I don't think. I was too entrenched in the drama.

Rewatch Value: Oh heck yeah! I would re-watch it over and over. TOPless TOP is worth it.

Overall: I give it a 10 out of 10 because it did not disappoint. Not to me at least.

I finished this drama last night and I've got to say I'm glad I started watching it. I don't think this drama was as advertised as the other dramas that started the same time with it. I watched it because the teaser trailers looked funny. And I've never regretted it. Ok. On to the review.

Story - The story line is good. Watching the end of an episode then backtracking towards the beginning might take awhile to get used to. I do like the way the story moved. Not too fast and the end wasn't rushed either. The beginning made me cringe a bit but I got to hand it to the writers. They made me ride the emotional rollercoaster in each episode. One minute I'm laughing, then I'm crying then mad then there's an "awww" moment. I tell you, anyone who was in the same room as me would have probably thought I had lost my mind. But it was a great ride. Great kissing scenes too. There was chemistry between the leads. Has one of my favorite kisses of all time.

Acting/Cast - I don't think I've ever seen the younger cast except for the girl Yoon So Hee. I believe this was the first time I've watched Yun Woo Jin, Han Groo, Jin Woon, Han Sun Hwa and Heo Jeong Min and they just all played their part so well.

Yun Woo Jin who plays Gong Ki Tae was so adorable and he just made the list of leading men I want for my own. I just love him.
Han Groo who plays Joo Jang Mi, she was just no matter what kind of crazy stunt she pulls, her heart was in the right place.
Jin Woon who plays Han Yeo Reum, was such a cutie pie. And in episode 9? Thank you, I'm dead.
Han Sun Hwa who plays Kang Se Ah is my bias in the girl group Secret. She played her part so well, I almost took her off my bias list XD.
Heo Jeong Min who plays Lee Hoon Dong. Hated him in the beginning but he kinda grew on me.
Yoon So Hee who plays Nam Hyun Hee. I watched her in Let's Eat and she was ok there. Here she was annoying most times.

A lot of the characters were developed so well that even if you hated them in the beginning, you end up liking them later.
Most of the time in k-dramas, there's at least one set of parents you hate. But in this one, I only hated one. And before I close this part, I just want to say, I love halmeoni. :).

Music - The songs are great. I had the song "Love Lane" by Mamamoo stuck in my head so many times. But now that the drama is over, I have "One Day" by Ho Young Son & Danny Ahn stuck on replay. Harumaaaaaaaaaannn...

Rewatch Value: Most definitely. I love the emotional rollercoaster ride this drama has given me.

Overall: 10 out of 10. Actually it's an 11. I love this drama.

Okay, I've been debating on whether to write this review or not. This could have been easily one of my favorite dramas save for a few things.

First off, the story is good. A girl who likes trot music and a guy who doesn't like it meet and clash. Circumstances happen and they end up close. It was good. There was a lot of chemistry between the leads. And I had major SLS (Second Lead Syndrome) throughout the drama. Actually, I really was rooting for the main couple. But the second lead was just too adorable. I don't really mind one of the things that happened in the drama that a lot of people hated. My main point is I feel that (how do I say it without spoiling this) some parts felt rushed. There were scenes that were unexplained that should have either been explained or at least taken out of the whole show entirely. I know some writers are like, well we've done that or that scene has been done over and over so let's do something else. I say, stick with what works. You've done cliche scenes throughout the whole drama, why not go all the way. I really wanted to give it a full 10 but alas, there was that one thing I can't get over.

Second, the actors are great. Jung Eunji, who plays Choi Chun Hee(CCH) is just awesome. I loved her in Reply 1997. And she's like my main bias in A Pink. Her voice is just awesome. I think I found a new love for trot music because of her. Ji Hyun Woo, who plays Jang Joon Hyeon(JJH), is awesome too. He picked a good project to make his comeback after his military stint. I loved him in Queen In Hyun's Man. Shin Sung Rok, who plays Jo Geun Woo gave me major SLS feels. I hated him in You Who Came From The Stars. But in this drama, he was so adorable I just wanted to take him home. The second female lead was ok. I do love Yoo Eun Mi, who plays Choi Byul. She was just so adorable playing Eunji's younger sister. The additional characters were good too. JJH's manager Taesong and the mean girl from the same recording company Pilnyeo. CCH's coach was my favorite mom from Angel Eyes. The acting was great.

Third, music was awesome. I love the OST. But can I just say one thing, Why is it that these OST producers not include the songs that made us love the show in the first place? Where is the pepper song? I like the others but it's hard when you want to listen a certain song from the drama and you have to be content watching the drama clip. I've had the same problem with some of the other drama OST's (I'm looking at you Monstar OST producers.) On a side note, if Jung Eunji puts out a trot album, I would definitely buy it. :D

Fourth, re-watch value. I would definitely re-watch it. It was good save for that thing I can't put here because it's spoilers.

Finally, overall, I had to give it a 9.5. Could have been a 10 but I just can't do it. Watch it, if not for the actors or music, I'd watch it again for Choi Byul. :) That little girl stole my heart.

The first time I saw the movie trailer for this on MNET, I knew I had to watch it. So when I saw it on gooddrama today, I didn't hesitate to start. I am glad that the subs for the movie were accurate too. I saw a movie one time where the subs were just plain wrong. Anyways, on to the review.

The plot - a granny who gets a second chance to be young again and do stuff she wasn't able to do. Because life happened, she had to make sacrifices for her family. When she turned into a young woman again, she embarks on a journey to follow the dream she gave up. It's a comedy with a bit of romance and whimsy. But there's also scenes that will touch your heart.

The actors - I love granny, played by Na Moon Hee. I've seen her in My Name is Kim Sam Soon and Unstoppable High Kick. She is really funny. Shim Eun Kyung who plays granny's younger version was really good in her role. I've only seen her in the movie Sunny, she was pretty good too. Jung Jin Young who plays the grandson was pretty good too. I love his character.

The music - I love it. The songs were great and Shim Eun Kyung has a really nice voice.

Re-watch value - Definitely! It's one of those movies that will warm your heart and make you feel good.

Overall - I recommend this movie.
