Wow! I just literally finished watching this 5 minutes ago and I can surely state that this is hands down my favorite drama at the moment. I was longing for a super cute and romantic series and this was the best decision to watch it right away!

To begin with, I'm quite sad that this is a short web drama. On the other hand, I'm not quite sure if it would've been more enjoyable if it was a full length TV drama. The creators are brilliant since they managed to squeeze every ounce of the major plot details, important scenes and humor into 20 episodes. The time flew by super fast while watching this, so you know it must be good. I couldn't stop thinking about the characters and their relationship every time I left my apartment! This drama also made me daydream a lot. Dramas that make a huge impact on me are highly appreciated and kept in my heart forever! Yes, the relationships. The main couple had some serious chemistry. Any time they were shown on the screen together, I was dying from excitement and adorableness. Honestly, my heart even skipped a beat once or twice. This was my first drama starring Kim Young Kwang and I instantly fell in love with this actor! Seriously, I admire how he managed to pull of that tsundere character so well. Other actors too, I've seen some of them before playing completely different characters so it was nice to see them transform into something new. The music was very fitting as well, especially that one song from the OST called "Candy Star". Overall, a drama worth rewatching 110%!

These are the type of dramas I like best - with amazing chemistry, comedy and romance floating all around! Trust me, you'll be hooked on the first episode and you won't regret watching it!

Just an overall great reunion. You get to see some behind the scenes which are always amusing, you get to hear live performances of the OST and glimpse at the actors, see what they actually think of their performance. Loved that they included some of testimonials of the supporting cast, however, I was really missing the teachers because they weren't on the special episode... Can't believe that this drama is over for me! Definitely worth watching the reunion, because it just fills up all of the blank and left out spaces with happiness and positive emotions!

It's probably one of the most difficult reviews for me to write here yet. Well, because I just can't describe my emotions after watching it. I'm in between loving it and finally being happy that it's over.

First of all, it's such a classic. Especially the bromance in the drama, one of the most powerful friendships in Kdrama world. At first I was very skeptical of watching this because I'm mainly new to Korean dramas and I've been watching new and fresh series while declining the older shows. I had the feeling that this would be super low quality, cringey and weird, but I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it's a 2012 drama, it was filmed nicely and quite naturally. Also, I'm a huge romance junkie and I was quite drawn back when I read the reviews stating that there is basically no direct romance in this drama. However, I just love all of the other "School" series so much that I still felt obligated to watch this one too. Actually, it was so unique and different that now I understand why it's so highly hyped about. School-themed series in general are really nostalgic and pleasant and this one brought a new light on the dark and cruel subjects of bullying, marks, friendships in Korea. The music was great as in most dramas, but what I least expected was that I'd fall in love with all of the characters! Even the bad guys!

Overall, this is a must-see for all of you that are into "School" drama series and want to take a break from all of the cheesy dramas that are being produced nowadays! Don't get let down because of the trailer or the plot, because this drama is a classic and will make you rethink of all the choices you've had in high school!

To start off, I want to pay my respects to the trailer and the first episodes of this show which got me really hooked right from the beginning. Never before have I been so excited to watch what seemed like a super custom made drama just for me. I like my romance stories like that: the leads fall in love from first sight, their chemistry is off the charts, they are both gorgeous and the music fits in with the mood. To add, the beautiful cinematography and all of the things mentioned came into one big bubble of joy which made my Monday and Tuesday nights so enjoyable. Everything would seem great and I'd finish this review with a strong 10 if it wasn't for the unnecessary melodramatic twists and the extended episodes. I really planned to put this drama in my "Top 10" list, but it just wasn't possible because of how draggy the directors decided to make this masterpiece. Seriously, it felt like I was watching Naruto with all of those filler episodes which contained no development whatsoever. Still, somehow I managed to pull myself together and finish the last episodes. And to be honest, the last episodes were really refreshing and nice. Not to mention the stunning male lead and his character. These type of calm, confident and feminine male characters aren't very common in the drama world, so this made this drama quite unique.

Overall,  I'm definitely recommending this to people who enjoy professionally filmed dramas with a fast-slow paced type of plot. Yes, some parts are really boring and the story gets frustrating, but the end is worth savoring every minute of this drama!

To be completely honest, were there ever any live remakes that were better than the actual original manga or anime? I guess not, and it's no exception with this one.

The story of Daytime Shooting Star is lovely. For all of you who've read the manga I guess you'll agree that the plot is simple, but very well developed and put out. But the Japanese have this "thing" to completely destroy the amazing manga vibe when they transfer it to the big screens. The whole movie seemed so fake to me. Don't misunderstand me, I love these "corny" and "cheese" Japanese manga adaptations with the whole awkward kissing, starting weird relationships and so on. But the most awkward of it all was the acting in this movie. Is it just me or do we all find the main actress of this movie very strange and unprofessional? I mean, if you read the manga, you would've formed a completely different character of Suzume in your head. To me, the Suzume from the manga is a bit more daring, confident and a whole lot prettier. Sorry if I seem rude or bitchy, but honestly, I couldn't let this slip by without commenting on it. To add, the actor for the role of Mamura is extremely handsome, yet he couldn't fulfill my expectations for acting and being a true Mamura from the manga. Sighh...

I feel as though I'm only giving this movie a higher score is that I've enjoyed the manga so very much. My only wish is that the Japanese would start making manga adaptations with focusing on how to make the characters look and feel like they just walked out of the manga.

If you're a shojo anime junkie/manga reader/corny romance lover, I guess you'll like this film.

Watched this movie while flying on a 10 hour flight. Well, the Korean movie section was quite small, but I was a bit intrigued when I read the synopsis for this. I'm a fan of anything related to North Korea and the country is always a mystery to me. Looking back at this movie, which I watched about 2 weeks ago, I remember missing the whole "escaping from North Korea" idea as imagining those situations and what those run-away people feel is what makes it so exciting. However, the directors of the film decided to focus on the art, on some of the minor insignificant characters. I didn't like the female lead at all, she seemed very dull and plain. The male lead was kind of boring and indifferent as well. The only thing that really drove me to the edge of my seat was the major plot twist in the movie *shhhh, no spoilers here*. Overall, I'll keep this review super short just because there are plenty of movies and interviews about North Korean refugees, their current life, their journey and experiences. This movie couldn't fulfill my wish to reflect all of the things mentioned before. Overall, definitely not worth your time, there are better movies out in the Korean film industry.

With so many similar dramas like this one it really fascinates me how much I've liked this one. It's your typical law, supernatural, romance drama with a hint of quirkiness. I guess anybody who likes series of the same genres will enjoy this one.

First of all, the story isn't that all unique, but I definitely enjoyed how the plot was nice, clear and straightforward from the first episodes. Episode 1-2-3 and *poof* - you're hooked. The series looses it's fast pace when everything seems clear, however, the pace is quickly swept up again after an episode or two. Also, it's so satisfying when the little plot holes in the drama start to fill up little by little as the show progresses. As I always like to focus on romance and the relationships between characters in every Korean drama, the love story between the main characters was like a breeze of fresh air. Jung Chae Chan's and Nam Hong Ju's affection for each other and how natural it was made the drama so enjoyable to watch. Speaking about enjoyable, I'll talk about my new oppa. Oh yeah, it's Jung Hae In. I fell in love with Han Woo Tak's character right away. He is my new perfection of what any man in Kdrama world should be. Also, he's very lovable. Beware!

Hence, the multi-talented actors made this show worth watching. The star-studded cast put a smile on my face. However, I get that many people are fed up with Lee Jong Suk's acting - he tends to play the same type of character most of the time, but he has done a spectacular job in this once again. Not to mention that him and Suzy even recorded songs for the OST of the drama. An emotional and moving soundtrack is one of the most important elements of a successful drama. Personally, I'm very impressed with all of the songs, hence, now I have many songs to rewind over and over again while getting ready in the morning!

So, as I've finished the drama 30 minutes ago, I can proudly say that I'll miss it. I remember not expecting much from the synopsis and the trailer, but now I'm very happy with my decision. If you love an intense, romance filled and fresh crime-solving dramas, you'll probably enjoy this one as much as I did!

As soon as I saw that this movie was coming out, I was really jumping from excitement. Seeing my favorite childhood anime turn into a live-action movie is a huge deal for me. And of course I had many expectation for the movie because the trailer looked so nice. But right from the very start when I sat down to watch this, all of my childhood dreams were shattered by the harsh reality. In my opinion, the biggest problem was not the plot ( the whole story was majorly changed from the original one in the anime or manga), but the actors and some of the scenes. It really felt like I was watching a cheap low-bugdet film, where they used inexperienced actors, despite the beautiful landscapes and backgrounds in the movie. However, some scenes felt really nostalgic and I was awed by the warming musical score. Overall, this movie adaptation did not exceed or nearly come close to my expectations. Nevertheless, I'd watch this movie again every once in a while. So if you're a fan of the original Peach Girl series, watch this and let me know if it was close to what you expected and if you enjoyed it.

I watched it during a 10 hour flight on a plane. As I'm mostly into Korean and Japanese dramas and movies, this was my first Taiwanese movie actually. Reading the plot, it got me really hooked up and excited from the beginning. It's your typical coming-of-age  happy-go-lucky movie, where you can predict whom is going to end up with whom, how the story is going to unravel itself. Who doesn't love a good school romance about first love, bullies, rivals and the harsh education system? I've watched dramas and movies with the same theme over and over again, but this movie was definitely something special and will surely become one of my classic favorite Asian movies.
Not giving away the setting of the story too much, one of my favorite things was that the actual storyline is set somewhere in the 80s/90s, so the actual vibe felt very real. I think I enjoyed the chemistry and the growing relationship of the 2 main characters. The romance was super natural and made me chuckle at least 10 times during the whole film. Also, the actors were gorgeous to say the least.
Without much rambling, everything about this movie is splendid and enjoyable. If you are a sucker for lighthearted love stories, you'll definitely want to watched this movie. It's worth watching and I know that I'll be rewatching ir some time soon. Oh, you'll thank me later for this recommendation! <3

One of the funniest, cringiest and heart-warming series that BTS did! If you're an ARMY, you need to watch this!

You'll fall in love with all of the members once again, laugh at their quirky personalities and amazing English skills. It is essentially a story of their success, hardships and a way to the whole western music world. By the way, these are some of the most iconic memes and jokes of BTS that are jumbled into 8 episodes. so if you're staning any member, you NEED to watch this. My favorite thing was the interaction between the group members and the American artists. You can really spot the cultural differences and how 2 separate cultures can merge into 1. As much as every episode was enjoyable and totally amazing, in my opinion, this show needs a season 2!

An entertaining series worth the watch that will put a smile on your face!

This is the type of drama that I would recommend solemnly for the cast. I mean, 7 of some of the hottest hunks of the Korean drama industry, yes please! So if you like eye candy, then go for it! However, the story itself is very dull and not exciting at all, the female lead's acting skills were a bit too sloppy in my opinion. I get why the creators made this drama to advertise, because it really draws attention to some of the products and brands. For my liking, the drama was too transparent and lifeless. Would not re-watch it again!

Ever since I finished the drama School 2017, I really wanted to get into watching all of the earlier versions. I started with this one.

School series in particular have this specific way to delve deeply into the problems of South Korean students. Who Are You: School 2015 was based on bullying and common family problems. Also, this version offered a lot of mystery elements which I really enjoyed. Sometimes it felt like you were reading a crime novel!
The storyline was quite hard to follow, especially in the first episode, but the eventually everything started to fall into place. I get why a lot of people like to be harsh critics of School 2015 (probably the second lead syndrome that everyone has gone through). Yes yes, there were so beautiful moments portrayed by the skillful actors, whom I already recognize from the previous drama that they've starred in. Some characters in particular made me mad and sappy, happy and sentimental. My emotions were all over the place and I guess it's supposed to be the main objective of the drama.
The OST was touching and enjoyed as well. Can't help but replay all of the songs after watching it!

If you're into school themed dramas that deal with teen problems and first love, this is the drama for you! The storyline is gripping, the actors are superb and the music will definitely enchant you!

I, like so many other people, was so excited for this drama to air. I simply and usually love movie or drama adaptations of manga or manhwa. And for many others and me as well, this series was a big let down.

Unlike many other dramas, this one had a very disappointing beginning of the story, while it progressed into something that I really enjoyed. Believe me, it got soooo much better towards the end. The biggest issue for me were the characters. Was it the acting? Was it supposed to be like that? The actors couldn't act out simple scenes and made me feel quite awkward, actually. Nam Joo Hyuk's acting in particular. I've seen many of his roles before but playing Habaek didn't suit him. Furthermore, let's take a look at the main female character. I hate it when the female lead is presented as weak and as a crybaby. However, with many negative reviews, I wouldn't completely neglect some of the aspects of this drama. The main focus for me was the OST. Aaaand that's why I gave the music a solid 10. The songs were heartfelt and perfect for the drama, kind of reminded me of Goblin's OST.

Overall, the drama isn't as bad as the people review it. Sure, the acting sucked and it was filled with plot holes, but there are many great scenes that filled me with joy. Would I rewatch it? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Sure, for those of you who have seen all of the brilliant romance dramas out there and you have nothing better to watch.

Brilliant drama, absolutely a gold medal winning series of 2017! It captured my heart right from the beginning and held the strong feelings inside right until the very last episode!

It's one of those dramas that is filled with emotion. Showing the real and quite awful education system in South Korea, the realness factor was why I became interested in watching. Of course, I have to mention the other "School" series but unfortunately, I can't compare any them to this drama, since this is my first "School" series that I've watched. Nevertheless, the actors really put on a great show! As far as I know, the majority of them are amateurs in acting, I just have to give them cool points. Furthermore, the characters were relatable, totally "best friend" and "best couple" goals! After each and every episode, I had to tell my friends what kind of a great drama this is. Not only does it make you feel kinda cool, brave and happy after watching it, but also concerned and shocked about some of the school related things. To add, the music made a hugely positive impact. The OST is very fitting and there are a couple songs that piqued my interest.

A wonderful drama for back to school or to reminisce the good old high school days. This drama will take you on a diverse emotion trip and leave you feeling chilled! Definitely re-watching it after I complete the other "School" series!

What made me watch the movie was the interesting trailer. I saw so many recognizable faces and some of my favorite actors, that's why I decided to watch it. The story is quite unique and charming, I suspected a different ending, but oh well, it was a twist of some sort for these type of romance films.

The leading actress was amazing and I believe that this movie was one of her best acting performances. I would strongly recommend to watch this movie only for the cinematography and the acting, just to see some of the already-seen faces of the Korean drama industry. However, I wouldn't particularly say that this movie touched me or made me rethink about it at night. There were so many scenes that I would've loved the writers to add or correct. In my opinion, there are far better romance tear-shedder movies out in this world.
