ooh it does look interesting. is it heist-y? it's okay if it's not i'm just wondering. i had heard some mixed reviews on it, but it seems like it's actually quite highly praised. i'm a little hesitant to watch it though cuz it looks like i'll have to wait for s2 ://
the way i had to triple check when i saw this was a chinese drama then saw jcw so i thought it was korean then had to check again cuz of the title and the chinese cast
this isn't my kind of story at all, but i am so intrigued by the junho and yoona pairing. i've been wanting to see them in something since FOREVER so i'm keeping my eye out for this one.
i'm praying that she'll actually go through with her revenge plan and they won't do some kind of unsatisfying cop out to be the bigger person or to not ruin her life or smth. why do i get the feeling that yeojung will end up taking the fall for dongeun and he ends up going to prison? i'm also terrified that hyunnam might die/be killed.
honestly though, i feel like all the bullies will just turn on each other until only yeonjin is left alone begging for forgiveness and she'll prob be left alive to suffer idk. i just hope it's a good ending cuz part one was so good. i'd hate for it to have a bad ending.

yeah, i've been really wanting a good dark heist one, but kdramas tend to be more lighthearted unless they come from netflix. there's nothing wrong with lighthearted ones at all. just less my taste, i suppose.
yeah i just finished and he mentioned it twice in the second half (the part i hadn't watched yet). i was just struggling to keep up with the time skips and the years cuz i couldn't form an accurate timeline in my head with the amount of jumps. my friend said they were supposed to be the same age, but i was like...there's no way he's supposed to be 35.
it's interesting though because even though he skipped grades, he's still dongeun's sunbae. impressive to think about.
Kdrama doesn't mean comedy 😁, you probably mean romcom... I think there won't be that much comedy, and it will…
no i don't mean romcom. there's a lot of kdramas that i get excited for (as i'm a fan of heists and dark stories) but ultimately end up being too comedic for my taste.
i really don't like student-teacher and age gaps, esp when it's pretty visible, but i love this drama. i started it despite knowing about those and i ultimately fell in love with the main couple. they're SUCH green flags and have some of the sweetest moments together. the chemistry is truly there and i never once felt uncomfortable with the dynamic or age difference. it was pure fluff. the side characters leave a lot to be desired though. you could pretty much skip them and you wouldn't miss a thing.
i really love yunshu too. she's so adorable. i love how she grows and matures throughout the series as well. she's extremely likable, even if she's naive at times. i would say she's simply more optimistic of people than anything.
only halfway through atm, but is yeojung supposed to be the same age as dongeun since they went to college together? is he supposed to be 35 or do the characters have some kind of small age gap?
