i think i would enjoy some korean adaptations of manga, esp some of the thrillers, but i also usually tend to find that korean dramas lack more in terms of storytelling. at least in my opinion. they do far better with characters than japan does (usually because of the series length), but then because of the series length the plot takes a hit.
compared to kdramas, jdramas def lack in visuals and cinematography. i never want to see another wig again. though, they have some kind of charm to them that hasn't really been captured by any other country. they just have such unique concepts every time. it'd feel a little odd to me for a korean studio to produce it esp if a japanese one hasn't yet. like taking straight from the source and not adapting off an adaptation.
that being said, i'd love to see death parade get a live action adaptation regardless of which country it comes from. such a great story and concept.

no there are many people who can't get into it and it's understandable why. it's def not for everyone with how slow and frustrating it can be. it either clicks or it doesn't. no shame if it doesn't.

it's okay, it doesn't bother me much as long as there's good chemistry. and by intimate scenes i'm assuming you mean kisses which i'm pretty fine without. i prefer watching hugs tbh. i personally feel like that feels more intimate.

honestly yeah 😠the only zombie one i love is kingdom, but everything else was just not it for me. peninsula felt like a cash grab imo ngl otherwise they wouldn't have put the "train to busan" name on it. it had zero relation to the first and you'd never even be able to tell they were from the same universe unless someone told you smh.
