YESS FINALLY!!! i was just wondering when i'd get to see eunji again and this time in a thriller :') so excited to see how she does with the genre switch
i really loved the slow buildup of their relationship for it to come to that kind of ending. i certainly wasn't expecting it tbh, but it added a nice layer towards the overall message of the film. takumi and minami both did an incredible job. i probably wouldn't recommend this if you were looking for a romance-heavy terminal illness story because the focus isn't much on romance, rather on the value of life. i personally enjoyed how it wasn't focused on romance on the brink of death.
to be fair, she had a pretty minimal role and only in like the beginning and end . i honestly nearly missed her too somehow T^T . maybe because she wasn't the cute happy grandma she usually is? LOL
idk maybe i suck at searching or we have different results cuz i cannot find a single thing about them getting married LOL or even announcing that they're getting married. are we talking about the same couple???
miseon and eunchul are like my ideal couple omg. they were so sweet to each other and communicated so well. i need a spinoff or something to complete their story
i don't give 10s easily, but this was definitely a 10 for me (and my first 10/10 kdrama). i laughed and cried and cheered them on. i was worried the older side of the village wouldn't interest me, but they exponentially grew on me and i sincerely loved every single person in the village. this will probably become one of my comfort dramas now. it felt like home and they felt like family :')
yoon haekang and han seyoon bang yoondam and lee hansol they have romance, but very limited so i wouldn't expect much considering they're portraying middle schoolers and are all also quite young irl
yeah that's because it got into some controversy over insensitive lines about indonesia in ep 5 and many indonesian watchers protested by giving it low ratings on every platform. the lines were quite negatively generalizing so i think it was pretty justifiable to be upset at. sbs apologized, but still (still love the drama though)
i honestly wished they would have revealed the killer a lot later, but it also still (somehow???) worked out. seriously great drama wow. the episodes just flew by
so excited to see how she does with the genre switch
(and kinda hoping they do ngl cuz it's cute af)
