She screws her 14 yr old student in the library and she has a fiance? I don’t see any difference between this…
Just to clarify: he's 17, not 14. This drama isn’t about lust or shock value. It’s a critique about a woman breaking free from a life built for her by patriarchal Japanese society. Her affair isn’t glorified; it’s full of pain, shame, and resistance against control.
All 5 women in the story reflect different forms of female constraint and awakening. Reducing all of that to “just porn” is truly shallow and really ignores the heart of what this story is trying to explore.
Then you can watch the anime. They go in depth about him at the beginning of season 3.
Not sure why you're getting defensive. You asked a question, and someone politely offered a reasonable explanation. That’s not forcing you to watch anything, that’s literally answering your question. If your first instinct is to lash out at someone offering help, maybe don’t post public questions in the first place.
So i just know from xhs why this drama won't have s2 anymore because new rules in China for gaming drama, if not…
You can watch the anime. It's funny and goes into detail about the other teams. Only thing is, you'll have to wait until season 4 to pick up where the drama left off.
Used to love this show as a kid. Watching it now, everyone I can tolerate, except Zi Xuan. She's such a selfish b*tch, always prioritizing her stupid desires over her daughter and husband's future.
Edit: Who changed the title to season 3??? Wtf this is NOT a sequel.
The 2nd brother her 1st husband threw her under the bus and ran over her repeatedly. That's what happened. She…
It's impossible to escape. The 2nd prince has one hundred ways to force her to marry him, like by framing her family for crime in ep 4. Also she saved A LOT of people in the second life, including the emperor and queen. Stop discrediting her.
I will just a bit. She found out that the person she loved and thought loved her back had used her to gain power…
Around ep 20. She was forced to do this bc she needed Mu Ze to protect her dad from the emperor, and convince the emperor that's she's no longer harassing Mu Chuan.
If this is what she was going to do with a 2nd life she should have stayed dead
She managed to save a lot of people AND killed all 6 enemies while having no political power. Why are you discrediting her? She saved: Mu Chuan, the Emperor, the Queen, Shen Changqing, Shen Dongqing, dad, younger brother, family servants including Shan Yue.
Most importantly, she did something that Mu Ze failed to do in the previous life: eliminate Cai Wangjin early on so that he couldn't kill Mu Chuan. Like, isn't that impressive?
I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
It's about a girl whose entire family was killed by her husband and half-sister. She is later revived and travels back 10 years, where she wants to save her family, friends, and get revenge.
I'm a plot-person, so I really enjoyed the complex logic in the plot, how every character's personality/actions stayed VERY consistent (nothing was out of character), and how the side characters are very developed and had depth. However, the FL's devastation and helplessness to the raw and realistic society was very heart wrenching to watch. You have to understand that it's not that she's incompetent. Despite being powerless, she's already doing her best, but every side character has a strong personality that she cannot control or idealize. And that's why I like this show. It's very realistic and stimulates deep thinking.
Another cdrama with a psycho ML.Still I somehow managed to watch 20 episodes, just hoping that she can somehow…
Logically speaking, the true obstacle/dead end here is actually 9th prince. The emperor refuses to let the Lu family be wasted on a powerless prince (9th prince), so he'd rather let FL be married to and controlled by 2nd prince. And, if 9th prince finds out the truth too early on, of course he would take action to save FL. Which immediately leads to be imprisoned by 2nd prince and killed by Cai Wangjin, which results in FL losing her strongest ally. So it made total sense in the original plot, where he stayed neutral throughout most of the story and only stepped up at the very end. Also, 9th prince was THE ONE that stopped FL from drowning Lu Xinran. Everything would have been so much easier if LXR died early on.

That's what makes this show realistic and logical. FL is just a mere merchant with zero political power. There's no magic here. She's already doing her best pushing herself through the limits. And she did succeed in turning the tables in the end.
I dont think the movie is as bad as everyone is saying, from what i watched from Japanese movies, specially the…
I think what actually made everyone frustrated is that in the end, the FL stayed the same. She didn't learn anything about self-love. She continued to let the ML gaslight her and take her love for granted. He still got the girl without making any effort from beginning to end. You would see this movie in a very different way if you've ever struggled and walked out of a toxic relationship. There's an added layer of shame when you see your past self in the FL.
