@terrabittaphew!!I Finally someone I can breathe with .. LOLTRULY A TERRIFIC DramaMature - slice of life - flesh…
I think I will be too.
I have pretty much zero issues about open endings in fact some of the BEST dramas do give the audience the space and freedom to imagine beyond the drama ..
BUT what I dislike is being left in the lurch in the name of an open ending .. when very little foreshadowing is deftly woven into the telling of it .. and the protagonist behave completely OOC (out of character from how they have been built up). That is not only annoying but also damages the beauty of it.
Actually often you can see the fraying of a drama well before that sort of "fake open ending" is done
The more I watch, the more I love this drama! The acting, wardrobe, and OST are amazing, and the cast is spot…
@terrabitta
phew!!I Finally someone I can breathe with .. LOL TRULY A TERRIFIC Drama
Mature - slice of life - flesh and blood humans with contradictions .. each one packed with his and her own set of The Good The Bad The Ugly ..
AND THE CINEMATOGRAPHY is FILM QUALITY !! The sets, editing, acting, script and dialogues!!
I cannot believe it's running as a CDrama LOL It's unique!
The only thing I'd prolly do is shrink the size down and tighten it to make the drama move faster .. shed the repeats and unnecessary elongation of the the scenes
What a brilliant tearing apart all the crap that annoyed the hell out of me …
I 💯💯💯💯 agree on each point.
The review is so hilarious and well written - itched every part of my mind that was left with hives at the end of it.
However here’s the irony and I HAVE to admit it 😝😝😝😝I was addicted to it and could not stop watching and gulping the absurd fight sequences ( like you can’t turn away from a Tom and Jerry battering up scene) which IMO were brilliantly choreographed and shot.
And all those stupid slapstick moments did make me giggle - so cartoon like ..
So even though the drama got so annoying that I wanted to smack the Screen I still couldn’t switch it off or drop it - it was compelling in some bizarre way.
Only in the last episode did I almost exit - it was too 🤮
What a waste of a bunch of superlative actors delivering their roles in one of the worst scripts ever made into a movie.
What a joke was made out of her ailment!!
I mean really .. no reference to how she is even attending regular school with her condition. How she is even bonding with her new schoolmates!!
Keep it a secret?
Really ??
everyone in the school would have found out on day 2 that something is wrong with her because she definitely cannot remember all the 20 or 30 children in her class and what they did. Here I am assuming that her Bestie is someone she knew before the accident. In this kind of amnesia, you remember most of the stuff from before the accident; after that pretty much the entire memory is compromised.
Imagine looking blankly at your teacher and having no idea who she is, she’s not really clicking pictures of every person that she’s meeting and writing long notes to remember next day. That’s superhuman!!!
And this kind of amnesia you don’t have to fall asleep, You pretty much can forget every several hours. What happened earlier in the day.
A child like this is usually learning in a social environment geared to support her.
There was absolutely no sign of any kind of awareness or support in the school in her house amongst her Friend, nothing!!!🙄🙄🙄
What sort of crappy research did the scriptwriter do?
This drama makes a complete mockery of people suffering from the real ailment.
This drama could been made to raise awareness of the condition and what happens to the people around the person suffering from it. The sweet love story could have been a side plot to weave the story together.
If anyone watched Born to Run (ok that was a drama - but still you’ll get what I am talking about ) you’d know what it means to make a life after an accident leaves you impaired - and this anterograde amnesia is AS serious as a physical amputation - it’s an amputation of the mind and its memory making ability
I think you need to stick for at least 4-5 episodes. And kind of slow down and try to connect what they’re trying to say and absorb the characters who is who, because there are plenty of them. As well as the different cities in which this is set.
The names of companies.
So a very slow start with absorbing all the data will just make things flow easier. I’d love to know what you think
Yeah it won’t grab most people at first watch (or at all), which is perfectly okay.
I had dropped it the first time I tried to watch it some three years ago. It was Kun’s superb acting that stuck with me, and I couldn’t get it out of my head, plus the slick, masterful way the drama was shot, edited scripted directed in the first couple of episodes that I checked out.
So, I went back to it and was determined to dive in, under, and stay there until I cracked it open. And when I did, it was absolutely ravishing, rich and complex enough so I ended up bingeing
It took me a while to understand the world of sales, marketing, technology, stock markets, and finance, which I am so poor at, but after awhile, it wasn’t at all difficult and flowed smoothly
7.5 from last night to 7.7 now
Loving ML : totally his mischief laden self that see through crap and fake stuff : so we’ll written
The story is getting deliciously complex and still staying organically consistent
Reminds me of the art of the Modern Chinese Artist Wu Guangzhong, all those aerial views of the grey slate tiles roofs and waterways
I am on episode 7 and want to whack someone very strongly, stopped feeling sorry for him couple of episodes back.
Those who are watching this avidly, probably know who I am talking about here

A TOTALLY different world and a POLAR opposite lead character ..
Web Novel was the world of Lady Liberty, big screen Cinema is the world of WAATH ..
Its dropping sooo slow and tortuous that I decided to hop off and return when all all loaded ..
ABSOLUTELY beautiful too - magical, lyrical, poetic !!
The release has slowed to 1 ep per day I think ..
next will be released from 16th to 20th
Is a 10/10 for me too .. right from the beginning episode I have been giving it a 10/10 in all departments .. OST is amazing
The Opening Credit sequence itself is SO STYLISH.
phew!!I
Finally someone I can breathe with ..
LOL

What an image this conjures!!
Yun Dong Ju poetry journal should have sprung some more poems for us
A hazy fog rolls in.
The street flows along
With no harbour to drop the anchor.
I stand with my hands on the red post box on the street

I gave a 5/10 ALL because the actors were good.
The script was so pathetic - lazy ass - full of loopholes so large that you could throw the moon through it
What a waste of hour plus.
