This is cute. The two leads really look good together. I just hope that Chu Nan guy's lies will end soon, his character is a jerk to watch.

Finally finished this series in Viki. The story has a nice premise, a lot of potential to be a great series. I also like the acting of the leads especially Lu Zhun who is exceptional. Qin Ye has depth in acting too and he cries so effortlessly, and Yien is so elegant. But the story is dragged to accommodate 58 episodes. There are many unnecessary scenes which just repeat what has already been depicted, and many dialogue scenes are too wordy which render them somewhat boring.

The writer, I believe, has not consulted a professional when writing the depression case scenes towards the latter part. That's not how one deals with such case, professional intervention is needed when the person has already shown violent tendency, yet the one concerned was still left alone and constantly explained upon. And the brain tumor thing is I think unnecessary, it just sprouts out of nowhere.

Anyway, this is not a bad series, if you don't spoil yourself with the story, you will constantly have questions in your mind. And that is what I like here. If this has been shortened and made compact and fast-paced, this will definitely be better.

Completed this series after Iqiyi released the last 2 episodes now to non VIPs and all I can say is I love this far far more than the highly budgeted The Thunder which I also recently finished watching. Drug trade is indeed a huge crime and no matter the reasons for doing that and no matter how good these traffickers are as persons, they must pay for their crimes. This is excellently made and acted. Well, another season for Fang Han continuing his journey is not bad at all!

The series starts well, then the character of Li Fei showed his stubbornness and arrogance that he becomes annoying for me. He mellowed down and he became tolerable. But towards the end, the story tries to put unnecessary dramatic scenes and deaths just to make a stronger impact (i guess). The hostage scene between two sons and fathers is questionable for me. Why not offer an exchange instead of surrendering? And the scene afterwards (I don't wanna spoil) I believe destroys the mood away from the excellent raid scenes. This is the end already and viewers like me deserve a more satisfying ending after watching so much deaths and pain throughout. The series is well made, and well acted, but because viewing experience is subjective, for me I can only give 7/10 because I did not enjoy the end and those overly dramatic scenes. There are also characters whose story was just left behind.

I commend this drama for incorporating environmental issues. But I seem to have a disconnect with the way the story treats the characters The female leads are an annoying bunch. Ling Xi as a spoiled brat, who pursues everything she wants incessantly and at all cost, is not very likeable. Mowgli is a very loyal and simple person. But the way he is being treated by Ling Xi is like someone having a pet and loving a pet for the companionship, afraid to let that pet go. I don't see any romantic love. And, I don't like seeing that kneeling Mowgli in ep 27. He is not a pet, not even a slave.

And Tang Cheng, is another annoying lead. She has a strong personality yes, but her not showing a bit of respect to the elderly is bad. And the way she handles her issue with Lu Zi Yue by ep 27 is not cute at all. She doesn't give any respect to his present status. And the story revolves around that premise?

I like the other characters and will finish this by skipping annoying scenes.

This sounds interesting. Have seen Bai Lu in Arsenal and she's a natural and Xing Zhao Lin in Eternal Love who is charming. We'll see their paring here. Those who wish for this or that actor to appear here, well, you can always produce your own series and get your preferred actors to appear.

I just increased my score for this series. It is not perfect but it has more substance and the characters are building up well, to be ready for further development in Season 3. So much stories can be told with the way they are developing the characters. In fact, I think each couple can fill a 12-episode spin-off series. And what is admirable is they don't depend on just being cute onscreen, they deliver respectable acting though they are relatively new. Looking forward to Season 3.

Title Novoland: Eagle Flag Spoiler
Just finished the subbed ep 54 and waiting for the rest. If I haven't reached this point, I should have dropped this long time ago when Asule sacrificed Qingyang's best warriors because he needs to save Ji Ye. He never thinks of the major consequence of his actions. As long as his friends are fine, no matter how many lives are lost, he will attack. But he is not strong, people need to protect him and are killed in the process. Then he will bow down and seek apologies. I've lost count how many times he asked for apologies. He thinks he is the hero who can save the world but he always messed up. Also, he is either sleeping after a violent rage or fainting like in this episode when he fainted hard while the old man with him was totally fine when they rolled over in the snow mountain. He hasn't developed much as the lead character. up to the end. In fact he is so annoying!

No character was fully developed. Most enter the storyline suddenly, and their subplots are told which dragged this series. In the end, even the leads are half baked, and the series, which suffers from awful storytelling and unimpressive dialogues is scattered all around.

I see some comments saying Zheng Shuang cannot act. I may agree with that but Yang Yang is not good in acting too, and I have read articles attesting that, so they just complement each other. No offense to them personally regarding their monotone acting, but they have an on-screen chemistry. So, if this is a light romance series, this would still click.

This is ok, enjoyable and short though there are scenes which can be done better. Like when the lead was speared by Han Yu. I understand the series may be tight in budget, but the 2 policemen could have made a call for reinforcement to rush to the victim while they ran after the culprit. It turned out the lead removed the steel pipe, then walked in the street and nobody's helping? And it's already morning, so many hours have passed already. Anyway, this is better than those big-budgeted series with confusing plots.

Unexpectedly, I am loving this series. I thought this will just be a too light romcom, but I am getting more. And this is a sample of a good series made special by excellent acting. I have loved Yang Zi since Ashes of Love and Go Go Squid, and seeing her different character here makes me love her versatility more. But my attention was really snatched by Ray Ma Tianyu. His excellent portrayal of the sweet and innocent Mowgli made me an instant fan. I haven't paid much attention to him before, but now, he is my favorite actor alongside Deng Lun, Li Xian, Bai Yu and Vin Zhang. Hope this series continue its excellent run.

By the way. I also love the characters Lu Zi Yue, the male attorney and Bai Yi Ling., the divorced assistant.

Finally was able to finish this. And this is the worst lead character development I have seen in C-dramas. Dingding, until the very end remained stupid spending her time to be with Chen Xun and disregarding everything else. So is her deep love with that ex? And what adds to that is the fact that the lead actress acts so awkwardly, she finds it hard to show proper emotions.

All the other actors are fine but the story, dialogues and plot progression are really awful. Imagine, there are many other employees in Chen Xun's company, his relatives, parents, Zixin, they could have made some time to be with him after a day or two, but the writer chose Dingding, and only Dingding to have the time. And when Dr. Ning went abroad, why can't Dingding contact him when she is the one who hurt him. This is in contrast with how she treats Chen Xun, she is proactive every time.

Well, good job writer for ruining this series. All those unrealistic parts can be forgiven a bit if they didn't end up together, because your main theme is deep love, but DIngding never showed it to the male lead! Bad bad...

So many stories, so many characters but in the end, confusion prevails. I never thought I invested time to this series only to be annoyed and confused. The main lead seemed only a side character and never fully developed. Ji Ye is a better character but still this series is just a chronological turn of events, no central story was fully drawn. The number of stories and characters limit the emotional investment to them.

I like this series though it is far from perfect. The premise is nice. Though I find the lead actress too feminine to disguise as a man. And ep 37 is a filler ep of Gu Yanzhen spending much time with Qu Manting though he says he doesn't like her. Those fillers are not cute.

Title Another Me Spoiler
Just finished ep 50 and sad to say, for me, this series gets worse as it closes to the end. The events surrounding the subplot on Apan and his stepmom is ridiculous. Previously, when Apan's father died in the hospital, his reaction was to call him repeatedly and cry and cry. Shouldn't he alarm the doctors as the initial reaction of a normal person, to try to revive his dad?

The scene of Ansheng and his dad is so annoying, they were supposed to be estranged for a very very long time, and Ansheng so calmly listens to him and give some remorseful look and later easily went with him to their old house unguarded. The way their friend, the shop owner fails to enter the studio when she is supposed to be a guest is really ridiculous. The guard is the one preventing her. Where is the entrance for guests and where are the show's staff or a notice re a guest who hasn't arrived? The stepmom had a sudden change of heart after a lengthy monologue by her father. Is this a joke of a series? It's really testing the audience's tolerance level.

There are so many other scenes not so well-planned out to be executed effectively. Anyway, Jiaming or even Han Dong are not really main leads in the strictest sense. I am further lowering my score for this series!

First impression after the first scene. Where did Ray Ma get his fitted clothes plus a nice pair of fitted sneakers if he is a Mowgli? There may be reasons for this yet to be told, but that was the instant reaction I have upon seeing that. And the CGI boar needs some improvement. Anyway, I'll continue watching and see.

I am trying to finish this series off but there are more absurdities. Ep 27-28, the male lead has time for the gym but he can't find time for his girlfriend that he doesn't know that she has a problem with her design. And in the prior scene, he went to bed without contacting her when he knows he ignored her when she visited him. Can't he do that while walking or in the car or upon getting home? His acting ignorant is not effective anymore.

I previously said I like the story but am annoyed by the characters. Now, after ep 42, I might say I am also annoyed by the story. If there is a series that shows all possible unfortunate incidents and events that surround the characters, then this is it. Plus all the bickerings, scheming and overly dramatic plotlines. I was wondering why it has such low score here and is not rating during its run, well these might be some reasons. Anyway, now, I will just skip to the essential parts that will end the story for the sake of finishing this.
