Seconda cosa ho visto 248 lavori e quel che meritano li ho ben recensiti perdendo tempo per aiutare chi come me vuole vedere lavori magari anche leggeri ma non slapstick come questo.
Il punto è che non tratto tutto come capolavoro per partito preso o se vedo due baci per giunta girati male. Tu, anziché venire sotto il mio profilo a dispensare sentenze da due righe, potresti provare a scrivere una recensione tua: richiede un po’ più impegno del molestatore dei profili altrui.

And asking why the daughter is in the story feels strange to me, because she is not just “the child.” She is Boksoon’s moral mirror. Every time Boksoon talks to her, she starts questioning herself, her job, her rules, her compromises. The daughter is the part of the film that brings in motherhood, vulnerability, guilt, hypocrisy, and the difficulty of being a parent while living in a world built on violence.
She also carries one of the clearest moral themes of the film: being gay is treated as something wrong by society, while actual wrongdoing is often rewarded if it fits the system. That contrast is not accidental.
The relationship between Cha Min-gyu and Cha Min-hee is intentionally strange and uncomfortable. The film is full of exaggerated, almost grotesque dynamics and genre references. Their bond adds to that artificial, theatrical, morally distorted world.

Mi sono chiesta cosa avesse questo lavoro che non andasse, dalle recensioni notavo elementi classici dei kdrama che sono stati valutati generosamente in altri lavori molto leggeri quindi l'ho iniziato con le migliori premesse e la migliore disposizione, dopo due episodi anche io mi sono convinta ad abbandonarlo senza investirci del tempo perché fondamentalmente gli attori della parte adulta non si prestano a un kdrama leggero , non risultano credibili, e non hanno molta chimica e il personaggio femminile mi provoca più insofferenza del solito, sia nella parte adulta che in quella giovanile risultando altezzosa, scostante, competitiva, antipatica e provocatrice volutamente. Non c'è nemmeno tensione emotiva perché la storia viene praticamente disvelata subito e non c'è evoluzione nel rapporto tra i due. E no, non basta la canzone di John Lennon, sacra, a nobilitare e salvare tutto. Alcune scene poi sono davvero assurde e rallentate in momenti che non convincono. Droppato. Mi dispiace perché volevo vedere Ju Jo Hoon in un romance ma forse non sono la "sua cifra" e la scelta della sceneggiatura non è stata felice per un attore col suo palmares.

figurati, neanche a me era chiarissimo, poi ho visto un reel su tik tok con musica romantica nelle interazioni tra bailing e mosha star e ho ricollegato, sono stati geniali, per superare la censura hanno proposto una coppia etero per parlare di riflesso di una coppia omosessuale, così come hanno parlato dello stupro indirettamente (la sorella della FL è stata stuprata da wutong ma non si vede). É per questo che questa serie ha una marcia in più, c'è tanta roba sotto ciò che si vede , molto nascosta. Nel romanzo originale (琉璃美人煞 di Shi Si Lang): Re Bailin è effettivamente innamorato del Star of Mosha (Mosha Xingjun, 魔煞星君). Si tratta di un amore non corrisposto e in gran parte non detto, perché l’astro di Mosha è una figura devastante e prigioniera del proprio destino. Nel drama il legame “amore tragico” tra Bailin e Mosha diventa ambiguo e può essere letto come un attaccamento ossessivo o fraterno, senza mai sfociare in un rapporto esplicitamente omosessuale. Lo spirito sigillato secondo me è la repressione simbolica dei loro sentimenti, gli uncini (armi nate dalle costole dell'astro di mosha) riprendono contenuti biblici, la donna nasce dalla costola dell'uomo se ci rifletti. Poi a livello più ampio simbolico il sigillo dell'animo di una figura così oscura e devastante può essere letto come un "far finta che il male non esista" , una repressione. Ci sono molte letture a molti livelli di questa serie, purtroppo sono rare.
Ho scritto una recensione ai tempi quando lo vidi, mi colpì molto; dopo lost you forever, che secondo me è addirittura superiore a Moon Lovers, love and redemption è uno dei migliori xianxia in circolazione per la scrittura, non mi riferisco all'arco di redenzione e delle 9 vite e al personaggio principale, che è uno dei miei attori preferiti in quanto a espressività e bravura, quanto proprio ai riferimenti biblici e alla scrittura brillante. Gli uncini celai dell'Astro di mosha ricordano un po' le costole di Adamo. Il re Bailing era un omosessuale che non accettava la sua natura e decise di rendere l'uomo che amava "donna", la guerra era un pretesto, il motivo era più profondo. Quest'uomo tradito che torna pieno di risentimento e viene redento dall'amore che Si feng ha per una parte di sé. Molto bello. A me è piaciuto molto questo. Mi è piaciuto anche vedere una donna che "faceva il sedere a tutti", dato che spesso vengono rappresentate deboli e sottomesse.

The script combines romance and action without true integration: professional events mainly serve as pretexts for the love story. Medical realism is weak, with oversimplified or implausible procedures.
