One thing that I also noticed in Korean dramas is that most main female characters are poor, not so smart, but…
hrm. I have seen a lot of dramas and the ones who usually get the worst trouble in the end are those ones who are pure gold diggers. I also think that Korea does not appreciate women who are purposely "upwardly mobile" socially. However, they do not seem to mind if men are, but neither one allows extremes. So the moral of the story is that the class system is honored and protected. In a sense this might work better in a culture that values an extended family type hierarchy, while in other countries it is more nuclear families, and so they are financially able to support a poorer household closer to a norm. I know in the USA in a smaller town two people earning minmum wage can eat, have a computer and a car and new clothes ( not designer ones tho) and kids. So, part of the accepted norms might have to do with the fact that you can raise your young properly or not there. thats rarely ever brought home as clear in Korean dramas as it is in say Japanese ones.

I really enjoyed this drama. Sometimes the witty humor was ultra lowkey, sometimes in your face. the cute cat faces stole my heart all the way thru. WHAT A CRAZY MAN!! adorkable tho.

This series took a creepy turn on episode 11. Not sure if I can keep watching since the main couple changed from…
classic BL insanity!! it was actually awesome.i cannot say it deviated from the main characters personality. he basically tortured his one true love, specially cause he loved him! What to do if he won't see reason? must kidnap him and convince him to get back together, OF COURSE!! We know that never works, but he had to find out the hard way!!
I hope it just serves to remind us ALL that this is fantasy pure and simple!!

This was a good drama, but what made this so great was Arisugawa's and Himura's friendship!! *-*
there are two mini episodes out. they are kind of like intros to the new season? i am not too sure, but I am sure you saw there would be another season? in the first one, I just about died. I need subs!! anyhow I watched it raw on lovetvshowdot com some chinese website I use for raw releases. its on there, and its awesome. I have seen some of my sub outlets asking for it to be shows with subs. But if you liked the friendship ( as did I) then its def worth a watch even raw. 17 and 20 minutes for part one and part two. Just spreading the love!!!!

Boring, as hell. It thought it's going to be some dramatic drama. The act of terrorism? Hostages? Bomb? But why…
Aww.. thats a shame. it is a great movie to relax and buoy you up. An action flick it def is NOT!!! I hate action flicks so I really appreciated that here. I love slice of life feeling and I def got that here FULL on. BUT!! they make action flicks cause not all of us can be slice of life fans :)
As far as arashi fags go, I have no clue what that is, but if this is what they like, sign me up!!

eye candy, tugging at heart strings. Fun and moralistic. that's this movie for me. Def recommend it for those days you need to be distracted. SUPER light weight tho. For what it is, I had to like it a lot. could have been super drippy, it wasn't and I appreciated that fact.
