Wonderful Family drama.... a nice Feel-Good, Heart-Warming show...w/.... quite a few Quirky Fun characters... .....
The best thing about this show is the Lack of Cliches !!! ... --->>>
i.e. --- The womanizing Rocker-dad who's quite attentive to his family's needs ...while still playing it Cool ! ........ very refreshing !!!
Kamenashi Kazuya and Tamaki Koji made it worthwhile.
Like several people already said :
My first time seeing Nakayama Yuma..... I didn't think I would like him.... But I am very impressed and charmed by him ! .... I also liked Honda Tsubasa...
Great writing ! ... layered and and thought-provoking ! .... Really good story-telling ! ....
A little "Piece" of everything ....Romance ....Mystery ....Secrets ....Friendship ....Family ....Love ....Courage ...Self-Introspection ...etc...etc...etc..
I don't think it was boring ...it just lacked depth !!
---- the entire thing was so Laid-Back & Easy-Going .... even the characters ..... which was a Refreshing Take !!!
......BUT...... easy-going does not mean Lacking Purpose nor does it mean incapable of Deep Thought or Feeling !! --->>> ... which is exactly what the characters and the movie needed !!!
---- It would have been a lot better if the characters were better developed that we can understand their motivation.
A complete waste of time .....unnecessary....did not add anything to the story .....
.....and... it wasn't funny....IMO , one of the worst specials.....
The original drama was funny and told a good story w/ lots of ridiculous silly yet good humor provided by the huge all-star cast..... ..... this added nothing , wasn't funny ,
.... and the worst part is .... that it did not quench my thirst from the end of the drama in ep.12.
---- I really wanted to see Sano and Mizuki after they got together and also more of Nakatsu .... Very disappointed !
exactly as @displacedmoon said below ,it is a bit strange ... then again, Joe Odagiri often chooses projects like this .....
I did like it ... a bit slow at first ... especially considering there was very little dialogue ....
I believe that the director could have done a better job at explaining a bit more about the myth of the wolf , and explaining some of the action , which sometimes lacked context.....
It is worth watching if you like Joe Odagiri and are into artistic films.
Yeah he totally deserved the reward for Playful Kiss. He was the highlight to that show
Absolutely right !!! ..."He was the highlight to that show" .....
so adorable and a joy to watch ....
.... he played a similar role of the adorably sweet head-over-heals in love nice-guy in "9 End 2 Out)...
A short story of a few days that expressed a lifetime of emotional scarring for the two leads ..... ...... ..... beautifully told ....
Cho Jae-Hyeon really earned my respect for his performance here ....
I have mixed feelings about this one. It was so sad. I liked best part when they were still in school and I really…
Well Said!!!
and... Park Shin-Hye did do a Good job Here (only time I like her).... BUT... I still think she is only good at being pathetic.....
EXAMPLE : in Ep. 6 when they both meet up and both are sad w/ teary eyes yet both flash a smile and say they r OK....
--->> from PSH ...w/ a sad face , crying, yet says she is OK w/ a smile... showed sadness... that is it !!!
--->>> from Lee Wan ... w/ a stern face and teary eyes says he is fine w/ a forced smile .... he showed :
Sadness....Pain....Frustration....Anger...Sympathy....Longing....Love....Loneliness... and much more
Park Shin-Hye is Never able to show that array of emotions .... she simply cries and shows sadness .... and sometimes , while wailing , she shows Heart-Wrenching Sadness ... That is it .... ..... IMO , she's limited !!!
Does anyone know ???..... Did Park Shin-Hye have a good accent speaking Japanese ??
.... it is meant to be her character's native language.... so wondering about her performance...
Wow!!! .... love the Intensity ...... lots of feels..... good story .....
---- concise and well written, not a boring moment....
---- Impressed w/ Lee Wan's performance...
---- Really good Combination of J-Dorama Realism mixed w/ K-Drama Idealized Romanticism ......and...
--->> It removed the cynicism and cliches of both !!...the result is a fresh take...Excellent !!

Ju Ji-Hoon is a Great Kisser !!!

...I saw it , but I don't quite understand what is implied ...!?!?
...... if so , his pronunciation was way off !!..... BUT .....it sounded Beautiful !!!

especially about the Amazing character of Dong-Chul ..... who definitely goes on my list of favorite characters.
