Just another fanservice that kids would enjoy, just think of 50 shades of gray or those unnecessary random romantic scenes in a korean drama that has no romance tag. Of course it will have its audience hence it's the hottest jdrama right now.
The story had substance but somehow I didn't feel emotionally invested in the characters - it felt like I was…
The acting which resulted to weak chemistry. The lead girl in the taiwanese version is miles better imo. Go watch the original to compare, but I guess the effect won't be the same since you already know the story. XD
Hey?Wants to know the one thing that is missing?Besides Mizuho's trial, we have 4 couples.3 of them have satisfactory…
That's another interesting side they could have tackled, but nonetheless it's still a 10 for me. The character still portrayed a woman longing to be a mother but can't, and because of that she couldn't show them any empathy. They could just adopt in the future who knows, but you know I agree with her husbands point. It's also possible to become happy with just both of them and if the wife realize that, it's a happy ending for her either they adopt a child or not.
I like how this drama make you form your own opinion, they even repeat scenes with different perspective, and that breaking the fourth wall moment that at the same time doesn't sound so preachy. OMG this is why I love Jdramas.
We have same fascination for japanese countryside. One of my goals in life is to see that sinking brige in the Ozosaki Himawari in real life. I also would like to add little forrest and going my home for awesome countryside drama locations.
Is it funny to watch? The Japanese drama style is way too different for mesoi can't decide. Give me some advice.…
Typical jdrama comedy, so expect exaggerated acting. The side characters their quirks are very unrealistic, but it's just a way to make the drama entertaining. Imagine anime plot but with real people.
English title "Bread, Bus and Second First love" basically tells the whole plot. She, working in a bakery who has fascination with buses, met his first love in middle school who now works as a bus driver. It's very straighforward, zero plot twist whatsover, this movie may not excite you, or it may fascinate you, depends on the viewer, but what I like the most about this movie is the very beautiful cinematography it has.
That would not leave a positive message which what jdramas are known for, so I doubt it will happen. It is worst ending than him acquiring aids and die in the end.
This one is pretty weird, it starts in the middle and ends before the first part, so if you don't pay attention you will lost into the story. What I like is the mysterious ambiance throughout the film, slow pace just helps to arouse my curiousity. It also has this dreamlike/dejavu element, which you'll ask yourself "did I see this scene before?". The key theme I think is "isolation/lack of communication", characters met but they didn't connect, they fail to convey their thoughts properly.
If you like slow burn type of movie with a taste of mystery then you'll end up liking this.
It's like terrace house with crazy characters having very complicated relationships, so I find myself having a hard time relating to them. I also think female viewers would find this drama cute because of doki doki moments, actually this drama might just be a big fanservice given the amount of attention it's getting. But since I'm a guy I don't give a damn about those moments, I just finished it for the sake of finishing it. LOL
