She is getting married into a Royal Family but she does not know what to do, what not to do, what to eat, what…
With her ambition, knowing too much might kill the mood. It's easier to fake it till you make it.

Just wing it 😉

She's nothing but a pawn. Since I-An is looking into her family, it's more likely he will use her to get rid of one of the queen's allies once he dig up enough dirt on them.

So, please help me out. WHY is he pushing Kanata away?
NGL the episode was a bit rushed. While I don’t like dragged separations and reunions, we didn’t get to “marinate” enough to TRULY feel Akira’s conflicting feelings. Even with Kanata, we didn’t see enough but I guess we will get more on it in the next episode.

The choice of Kanda’s actor is interesting since it almost feels like they purposely made the age gap stand…
I was referring to the artistic choice. They could have made Kanda San a university student but the fact that they made him a mature salary man, amplifies their age gap more. I’m not saying it randomly - you can see how uncomfortable Akira was when any of his peers (even the girl) met Kanda San. They all considered him as an adult.

It doesn’t negate the fact that Akira did find their time truly helpful (perhaps even life saving). I just find the character choice interesting. Besides kanda San is not great. He didn’t have to have a physical relationship with his unrequited love’s brother.

Illegal? Did the production break some unwritten law? Or were they committing a crime in the epilogue? (Kidnapping?…
Haha it’s just an expression :) I find it highly illegal that they decided to make us wait for 24hrs to find out what happens after the main story at the end of ep 3 (even if it’s predictable)

So, please help me out. WHY is he pushing Kanata away?
My take was that Akira felt that Kanata liked the version of him that was more or less “created” by Kanda’s influence. After Kanata temporarily recoiled after listening to Akira’s story, Akira’s self loathing kind of intensified? He was already trying so hard to only show his good side to Kanata from the beginning but now that his secret is out, he just feels even less worthy of Kanata’s love?

Kinda cliche but it makes sense for Akira’s character (specially after his past experience). He probably also doesn’t want to lose Kanata as a person in his life - he’s willing to be just a friend.

it's happy
The drama was wrapped up before the eng subs version was released. I recall seeing several commenters mention that they watched the raw episodes and loved it.

u seem so triggered by anyone claiming its grooming... people are allowed opinions and so are u... it's not that…
I feel the real ick factor is that the tutor chose his own unrequited love/ best friend’s vulnerable younger brother to find comfort in.

I rewatched the second half of episode 5 to prepare for watching episode 6.The acting of both leads is remarkably…
The choice of Kanda’s actor is interesting since it almost feels like they purposely made the age gap stand out. Until it was confirmed that Akira’s brother was a Uni student, I thought the gap was around 10 years (since in most recent dramas, 21-26 year olds in jdramas don’t look that mature even in a suit).

Did they ever mention how old is the prince and how old is Hui Ju?
Based on today's flashback, they were in highschool in 2008/2009 (and probably a year or 2 after that) so probably between 35-32?

They better not use the “there are paparazzis” line to continue that episode 3 ending!!!!
They probably will use it but clearly Li An's intentions aren't so pure 😉

He just can't scare off his contract wife even before marrying her.

Title Perfect Crown Spoiler
I am wondering about that flashback scene on the King’s wedding day. What was Prince Yi A talking about and…
It's most likely the fact Li An probably sensed that the king will be in an impossible situation if he married the Queen Mother. You can see how the FIL practically raised his hackles so easily the moment he saw Li An but was sacarine sweet towards the king just minutes before.

Given how things turned out, Li An was right. The king couldn't handle the crown and the queen couldn't care less abput him. The FIL now is trying to manipulate the young king while trying find ways to sabotage LA.

He could have let her know how he felt long before now. I don’t feel sorry for him even though he is a hottie…
Hottie bear 🤭

So true! It's just funny because most SML's aren't expected to publicly approve his love rival but right now he's in an impossible situation.

The church scene was too much 🤣

The queen mother's attire is probably a reminder of her goal. She comes from a lineage of 4 queens. With that…
Honestly her character is quite intriguing. If handled properly, the writer has an opportunity to do a great redemption/ character development arc with her.

Most likely he was a good guy but he understood that HJ’s priorities didn’t mesh with his. If you think about…
True. I felt the same with the SIL too. We are currently looking at things through Hui Ju’s hurt bias eyes. She’s still trapped in the past. Her family may have wronged her and in a way she is right - as the more capable sibling, naturally she should have a chance to prove herself. That being said, while her father could have done better, at least he isn’t actively trying to “destroy” her.

Most likely he was a good guy but he understood that HJ’s priorities didn’t mesh with his. If you think about it deeper, if any other girl had made the same proposal to Li An, he wouldn’t have entertained her the way he does with HJ.

As a person with no emotional ties to her, it was easier for the blind date guy to walk out without getting too hurt (hopefully).
