“ attacked by slow falling feathers” took me out 😂 Sounds like your typical cliche fest. And guess what? The subbed 🏴☠️version is out now after 2 years🙈
Thanks for the review - I feel like I actually watched it
Didn't pm already say he won't? Queen mom asked him to but he refused saying the king gave consent and the cabinet…
The good thing about Kdramas is that unlike with most royal fantasy Cdramas, the SML doesn't usually go completely rogue. He might get tempted to join the dark side, but I don't think (ok really hope) that he doesn't completely lose it🙈
With this kind of drama, usually a time skip is inevitable. It's had to say WHEN here since technically they already did the mini separation thrope. Probably after they shift the existing royal protocol/ traditions, there might be a small time skip so we can see how the realm, Castle Group, and the palace is fairing after "everything" changed?
There's still though since they still haven't got married to even do the "contract marriage divorce" thrope.
All the girls here are loving the boat scene, well, it was a great one. But, I keep thinking how IU's boyfriend,…
If both partners are actors and one cannot respect the other's career (specially considering how both parties have kissed their costars as part of their career), then they shouldn't be in a relationship.
Relationship is a two way street. There should be mutual respect.
As a viewer (since you wanted an open conversation), I probably wouldn't date an actor in my current mindset since I'd probably get jealous eventhough I know it's not real. But hopefully if I ever meet someone worth risking it all, I would try to ensure that I am mentally mature enough to deal with the side effects/ occupational hazards that come with the life of an actor before I agree to date him. If I am not ready, I shouldn't because my immaturity could end up hurting both of us in the end.
As a viewer, watching actors in real relationships kiss their costars don't bother me. In fact I've come to enjoy these kind of pairings more now because I don't like real life shippers. Some "fans" can get too intense when both costars are publicly single. I personally enjoyed WLGYT and Perfect Crown for instance because the fans can ship the characters in peace without having SNS drown with rediculous deepfake fanmade edits/ disturbing A03 edits of the actors' personal lives. Same with Shin Min Ah's and Park Shin Hye's romcom dramas for instance. There are more examples but I'll leave it with these for now.
They had to go for a public proposal so the queen mother cannot easily bury it. That's the reason why I An insisted…
Haha even I thought it would be the same since somebody on X mentioned how HJ didn’t have a ring on her finger at one point of the preview and the next scene she had it 🙈
Seems like it. It would explain why the mother was desperate towards the end with the amulet. Besides it’s not…
You are probably right. It’s truly sad how avoidable everything was. Simon has trauma and I get why she hated her mother’s profession but did she really have to go that far??? Specially to fit in with a bunch of rotten kids who’d already shown their true colors to her?🫠
I am a little upset because of no private proposal, but again they are not marrying for love so it kind of make…

We might get a real proposal towards the end of the drama (just guessing based to other dramas from the same genre).
Isn't proposing in public is a red flag? (Not in this story but overall)
It depends on the recipient. Some love fanfare and publicity (not that it's a bad thing per say) / celebrate with their loved ones while others prefer private intimate settings.
I'd say the real red flag would be to propose to your long term partner without considering their interests?
It's like they read or watched a hundred fairy tales to figure out what's best about them, and then rolled that…
Seems like it!
I An wondering if he was about to get a proposal on a yacht and HJ dismissing it as so cliche was extra hilarious given how WS had a ridiculously failed yacht proposal attempt in his previous drama😂
In episode 6, there was a scene where the centipedes were crawling towards Siwon while she was wiping her hands.…
Seems like it. It would explain why the mother was desperate towards the end with the amulet. Besides it’s not just about her cursing her mother. Siwon desecrated “sacred” ground and disturbed her mother’s deities in a way by destroying her shrine. Payback was inevitable. This would also probably explain why her spirit was more demonic than Do’s eventhough Do died with revenge in her heart too.
Yessss!!! Even I've been craving to rewatch CLOY lately thanks to PC. It's not just because of the secretary even.…
Yes!!! It'll be awesome! He's such a formidable rival and ally. I love the fact that the queen mother can't control him even using her title.
Wonder if they have some kind of connection too? I don't mean in a romantic way but in a way that would justify why she doesn't throw airs at the SML the way she does with everybody else. I honestly expected her to slap him or at least reprimand him for taking the young King to visit I An/ giving permission to get into an unvetted sports car 🙈

What about you?

Meanwhile, back in the day it was I An who taught the Queen Mother how to be the perfect royal🤭
