With most of their conflicts for instance, Luke’s initial reasoning is justifiable but somewhere in between, the topic almost always gets shifted to focussing on his harsh words. So even if he is right, was being right really worth it?
Seeing how delicate the Ex was with Tao as well as knowing that Tao doesn’t hate her ex (unlike his questionable past experience with his exes) , it must have hit him extra hard.
