Both actually - I’ve watched 3 of BWS’s work. His character died in all 3 (hell his death count is over 6 times at least just with these 3 projects)🙈

Honestly based on most recent “K-romcoms”, the deciding factor really is the writing. There were so many dramas released in the last year and even the last few months with popular actors in the cast but most flopped IMO because the writers refused to break from their cliche prison or at the very least they didn’t even attempt to execute cliche scenarios properly.

I like the cast and the plot sounds interesting so I’m daring to hope…for now 🙈

After watching WLGYT last year, I have hope (this was my first IU drama). They both seem to be able to bring a similar energy for yearning and goofy scenes and they have range enough to play multiple faceted complex characters within a single project🙈

(I refuse to comment on their 💔 scenes since i don’t want to jinx Perfect Crown🤞)

Ngl I can't even sympathize with Ha Ran at the end of 5 whole heartedly simply because I'm just glad that history didn't repeat itself 🚛🙈

Kauri has self esteem issues. Her family is rich so she can buy whatever she wants BUT she can't get anything she truly craves for that cannot be bought by money. She was already struggling because she kept getting rejected from all the job interviews. The fact that the guy she fell for "at first sight" didn't like her back and chose her friend was already too much to handle. After finding out the truth behind their fathers' past, the fact that everybody including her friends and Mazaki's dad still didn't want the MC to breakup pushed her off the edge.🙈

It's in Kauri's nature to fuss over the little things so something like this probably made her loose control at the moment🙈

At the end of the drama, it's implied Mazaki and Kanade will try to be together again (since she ran towards him in such a dramatic way). Takashi deserves better so I guess he dodged a bullet.

The uni flashbacks- it's quite obvious specially with "young" Mazaki🙈

I binged all 3 episodes now. The drama is intriguing and comforting at the same time.

The first episode plays with your curiousity since they don't spend too much time laying down the foundation of the characters. We need to figure out the mystery behind the ML. The "WHY".

I'd give it an 8-8.5 for now. There's a lot of potential and the cast is really likeable.

The problem is that SHE doesn't know that it was him all along. To her, her beloved supportive, and understanding boyfriend died.

From his side, we don't really know if he understands that it was his "death" that relapsed her pain. It's just awkward to tell "hey! I'm the guy who pretended to be your boyfriend- the guy who you shared your deepest insecurities". 7 years is too late to confess.

Seeing as Ha Ran was close with his sister, it's possible the BF didn't real care about her but didn't want to disappoint his sister so he kept leading her on. He probably never expected his friend and Ran would hit it off.

Remember before Ran got close to "Chan" she was still feeling trapped? It takes someone who truly understands that feeling to pentrate through those walls. The BF probably didn't click with her. Technically the guy Ran loved was our Chan....she just doesn't know it yet🙈

Did they mention how the boyfriend die? I mean was he back at the uni? The timing doesn't make sense though since his sister already knew minutes after the explosion 🙈

Whatever his lost memory is, knowing how kdramas work, it should be something pretty bad like it was his experiment that caused the explosion or something like that- something that will make him feel guilty enough to disappear 🙈🥲

In a way all 3 sisters are handling their trauma differently. Ha Ran has it worst but the others suffer in their own way. I'm guessing we will have one hell of a storm once Ji Hyeon's "happy" dam crashes 🙈

TBF there were quite a number of traumatizing snowy winded roads in at least a few recent C/ J/ K dramas and movies so I wouldn't be surprised if there is another 🙈🙈🙈
