I don't understand why some viewers call Hiuju weak after last night's episode / mention that they ruined her spunky character.

The fact that she kneeled and begged her father to help her the second she saw him shows how strong she is. She meant every word. She let go off her pride and past VALID grievances with her family to protect I An. That's such a difficult thing to do- specially for someone like Hiuju.
The fact that she did it even before giving her father a chance to react emphasises her desperation even more.

they could always come up with a reason for the contract; something like "WE MADE A CONATACR JUST IN CASE…
The problem is that the clause about the divorce sounds ironclad and cannot be negotiated.

I am so tired of the queen Dowager. What is her problem? Just take your royal privilages and LEAVE.
Honestly after watching ep 9, all I could think of is how foolish she was. I An clearly loves the king. If only she could have been less neurotic (and not cursed with a power hungry manipulative father)🫠

there something i don't understand, who is the mastermind, behind all this accident, I feel like it the queen dowager.…
It's most likely her father. In ep 9, the father kind of dropped his "caring lord" mask.

Guys, how was today’s episode? Was it too heartbreaking?
Let's just say this was an episode filled with revelations šŸ™ˆ

Ep 10's preview kind of gives us some hope though

If ep 10's preview is to be trusted, looks like it won't be a long "seperation"

Yes!!! The more time he spent with her (and the more the PM meddled), the more I A fell for her.

There’s also the fact that he’s been conditioned since he was a child to never to follow his desires. That’s why every time things go wrong, he keeps wondering if he’s just being too greedy. Perhaps, if Hiuju never proposed, he wouldn’t have pursued her. But now? There’s no other option than to get married šŸ‘°šŸ¤µā€ā™‚ļø. He has 3 years after all🤭

So he liked her since school days, or was just a crush? Why he seemed to not like her after they met again as…
ā€œLosersā€ can’t be losers in public…not even if you are a grand prince 🤭

I An probably didn’t want Hiuju to realize that the reason why he agreed to marry her wasn’t just business. If she knew he liked her A LOT, it could complicate things. Like everybody keeps pointing out, Hiuju doesn’t have to marry a Prince to get a title after all.

Can someone explain this? In episode 3, does Ryo imply that Zen hasn’t had sex with a man yet? I thought they…
Most likely Roy just felt bad for not being more considerate about Zen’s ā€œfirstā€ time? Since he is Zen’s ā€œfirstā€, he wants to pamper him rather than just being physical for the sake of it.

On second thought, could there be a possibility where the PM did inform Hiuju or at the very least I An about the leak (but it was too late to cancel the event) so the Royal couple just pretends to be shocked so they can catch the culprit?

The arguement from the prelease could be related to something else? It's not the first time previews have gaslit us afterall šŸ™ˆ

You do have a fair point! The QM’s father totally reminds me of a sly fox šŸ™ˆ
Thinking back, the QM does have a tendency to get volatile when she is nervous so I guess it doesn’t really match how she acted through out the wedding scenes. She may have just guessed that the P,M was bound to blow up soon like you said.

The spy girl has her own lore at this point -from being the PM’s spy to being an illegitimate daughter of the former king out for revenge🤣
Park Majia is probably the key since they did focus way too long on her name (unless there was something else mentioned on her form but we were too distracted to notice). We probably will find out this week…hopefully?šŸ™ˆ

Perfect Crown definitely was worth the wait! I was almost worried that they might not be able to live up to the hype but they’ve done a great job so far (specially given how MEH most recent Kromcoms have been lately)šŸ¤ž

IKR?!BWS has the perfect proportions for royalty. He has that ā€œvibeā€ - The nation’s Prince.🤭 I just hope they don’t end up giving him a near-date scene too (he seems to love them a lot). IU too managed to make HJ’s narcissistic personality really likable. Normally I’d find that kind of character annoying but something about her is just so endearing you can’t help wanting to root for herā¤ļø

How would she say No when he hasn't confess his feelings to her, she isn't a mind reader
From what I have noticed, Huiju doesn’t recognize acts of love. It took her nearly dying twice to finally take I An’s feelings seriously. So she probably wouldn’t be able to recognize the PM’s concern as romantic love and not just friendly concern.

She’s smart but not when it comes to emotions. It’s just that she’s not used to it. Or alternatively, she chooses to be blind about it because for better or worse, until recently, the PM was her only friend (excluding secretary Do).

Obviously it was an attempt to recreate the success of qot..1 main issue is that it lacks in emotional scenes..qot…
QOT? How can you compare an ML who was willing to take advantage of his ā€œterminalā€ wife (from a 100% love marriage too mind you) just so he could escape his suffocating in-laws with PC - a drama where the ML never hesitated to protect his so called ā€œcontractā€ wife even for a second?

Haha-the speech bubble on the Lord’s head sounds pretty possible šŸ˜‚

There’s also the fact that the Queen Mother asked her head lady in waiting to ensure there aren’t any clues {can’t recall the exact term used] left before the investigation begins. It was an interesting point to focus on. Is it because she suspects that her father was involved in the poisoning? Or was she involved in some way? Or did she have her own plan ready on standby to derail the wedding that couldn’t be used because of the poisoning incident? She did seem so smug when she spoke to the PM earlier that day afterall - as if she knew something would happen? Or was she simply being cautious just to be safe since she doesn’t want I An to find anything that could backfire on heršŸ¤”

Then there’s also the spy situation- why didn’t they let us know what happened between the PM and the spy?? It’s so infuriating since the writer knows how to tease us šŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆ

I know how you feel - I was knee deep during my 2521 days - so many hypothesis and conspiracy theories. I still haven’t learnt my lesson 🤣
Then again - how can you resist? The clues and red herrings are right there šŸ™ˆ
