Don’t apologize! Your insight has been really useful to get a better idea with certain scenes/ character depth…
Ohhh….it’s difficult to imagine how they could incorporate such a misunderstanding considering now that even the parents know. 🙈 I mean even if Tao overthinks it (specially if this happens shortly after her friend’s death, it just feels a bit forced
The timeline always confuses me. So they broke up in episode 18 when she asked for marriage and they were in 4…
There’s probably a gap after they made up. For instance, Luke’s mother was surprised that he ditched his friends’ trip to go to Tibet. Since she already knew he was in the NW Region for work/ visit Tao when he was sick, she should not have been surprised.
The project is supposed to take 18 months so the Tibet trip probably happened towards the end/ shortly after it wrapped up

The drama deviated from the novel. You can’t have a 100% carnal FWB relationship and then get mad at your partner for not treating you like a boyfriend 🙈
I am not sure how they handled the progression though.
Ok drama aside I wanna know your opinions. So this couple has been in a relationship for 6 years in the novel/drama.…
In the drama it wasn't purely sexual. The drama didn't adopt the FWB relationship arc. (Or at least not for too long) They were exclusive but secret because of the company's dating policy/ Tao didn't want people to think her success was because of their relationship.
It was kind of like a marriage of convenience only it's for dating? The issue was that between the lack of terms/ their roles/ lack of communication things kind of fell apart😅
That being said, it is interesting how she managed to keep it a secret from her parents for so long. With Luke it would have been more believable since he anyway isn't the type to share his secrets whereas Tao seemed to be really close with her family 🙈
And then he was the best when it came to couple photos😂 He told her not to be so stiff. That scene was soooo…
True the timing was terrible 🙈
I guess from Tao's pov I kind of can see why. It's not that unusual to catch the relationship bug once your friends start to get happily married. She already admitted to Sun Yu that she was still confused about their relationship. Not telling the ex and Luke's reaction also would have been on her mind when the friend kept telling that 4 years was a good time to consider the next step.
Perhaps, after the cousin's revelation, she might have hoped it wouldn't backfire so badly? Specially since in a way by talking about her future plans, she's essentially reassuring Luke that she only sees him in her future? Her timing was her worst enemy🙈
I'm only on Ep. 10, but they just "slept together," FL says this time it wasn't an "accident,"…
She was exhausted and if I'm not mistaken, it was Monday night (at least according to his mobile lockscreen).
They did it in the car, the shower (or at least it looked like his bathroom- too blurry to tell but the angle didn't rly look like it was in the car towards the end), and in his bedroom....so you can imagine 🤫
TaoTao would likely not be able to go to work on the next day if she continued so Guest Room it is🙈
yess..and also remember when luke said whenever she video called him luke(dog) used to come therefore its very…
I guess the calls were made in a similar capacity as a divorced couple co-parenting their kids? Just to check on Luke's well being. It couls have been at a professional capacity to discuss updates on the project?
You need to check on them? Also Luan loves to exaggerate so I won't be surprised if he lied abit as well. We already know that Luke doesn't really go crazy during facetime calls in the past episodes 🙈
Chinese Censorship Board is quite strict so they have their reasons.
I didn't really look into it indepth but most likely certain intimate scenes/ scenes they may have felt not appropriate/ reducing the time in general to meet standard screentime...it could be anything 🙈

Not Luke stealing a kiss from Luan. He really is a fast learner🤣
No wonder Luan didn't want to do anything too wild in front of him🤭

There's just so much to cover tomorrow between the promotion and SZN's arc 🥲
Someone also mentioned thst Tao is supposed to get jealous of Luke's interactions with the new team member as well😅😅😅

In the novel did they have such a scene?
I hope they don't end ep 20 with a cliff hanger😅
Imagine waiting for 1 ep per day when you know all the episodes are out there???😭
They did it in the car, the shower (or at least it looked like his bathroom- too blurry to tell but the angle didn't rly look like it was in the car towards the end), and in his bedroom....so you can imagine 🤫

Ep 19 is waay to good....the director and screenwriter is just too mean 🙈
