I enjoy it because it's light drama without super annoying character, at least, the annoying journalist isn't taking too much screen time anymore. The 5 couples' stories are cute and I just want all of them to have a happy ending.

She likes him, but he's a known playboy in the social scene so she doesn't want to get hurt incase she's just "another girl" to him.

XW must be internally happy when JXN proclaimed to him all enemies of the Yan family are her enemies. He is, afterall, descendant of Yan's. =)

Me, too! I actually adore all of them and all for different reasons. Honestly, JXN is so blessed and lucky to have three great men in her life, as friend, admirer, and soulmate.

I like how ZZ and XW are aware of each other’s capabilities. However, based on the drama only, I’m not sure if the both have past memories intact. So far, we haven’t been shown any such clues.

He's a good guy. It's nice that the adaption didn't dwell too much on his 1st life negativity. I'm glad he's worthy of JXN's all-out effort in saving him and his family.

I'm looking forward to see how he's going to navigate around the rebels and keep themselves safe. Being able to guard a loved one from harm, whether with wit or force, is worth commending.

Zhang Ling He is simply so good looking in SoKP. He has this dark aura - dark prince, dark wizard, dark fairy, dark lord....just DARK, yet captivating.

It's just toooo goood and going at such a decent pace. The Yan's are in exile but extricated. Without an extra minute to spare, the story moves immediately to the rebels prison break scene. I'm glad we're steering away from the study partner/Dowager Empress/Xue Shu arc and onto the rebels and ZZ.

Yes to all your questions EXCEPT how come the emperor doesn't recognize him. DingFei was not quite seven yet when this happened. There was a flashback scene with a background voice that was supposedly belonging to his mom saying it.

He did pass the exam, ranking 1st place three consecutive years. The emperors and the court throughout history always prize someone with talents achieved through the examination process. We as viewers are given inside knowledge of each character. The Emperor doesn’t have the same insights with a viewer’s lens and even if he does, not at the same magnitude.
