What a coincidence!! TLB reminded me of Legalos, too. It was brought about by Ah Sun in ep 21 - 24; the part in 21 when he was about to shoot Li Shimin. He was in full armor in the woods with other shooters. Because of his long hair and just overall coolness, it screamed Legalos. Then in 24 when he rode on his horse with bow in hand to rescue CG, I saw Legalos again! I actually looked up Legalos, Arwen , and Aragon last week. I love them!! Can’t believe it’s been 20 years already.

Hehe, not just a lean over, he used the fan to give the extra oommph effect. Too funny. We’re so silly.

It's still an excellent watch though. The drama is inspired by real life historical events/characters. If you're looking for a documentary/political-heavy drama, then this may not fit the bill. If you're opened to check out a series with elements of everything and a lot of good feelings, then TLB has much to offer in term of entertainment value.

Sad, but nothing much we can do. If you try to explain the ending or why the drama deserves a higher rating, they would say that's their opinion and you're trying to belittle their intelligence or don't allow them to take their stance, or how you're trying to strong arm them with TLB/GeSun army... blah blah. It's never ending and just exhausting to engage. Best to just move on, and enjoy discussing things that makes you happy with people who have the same thinking. Life is short. I've decided to write my PhD in Sociology thesis/dissertation on GeSun and how their relationship inspires modern day women in searching for a loving, healthy, and supportive partner; and how Ah Sun is a prime model with traits we all wish our partner has.

Sadly, my thesis submission was rejected by the institution's department of Women's Studies because I can't find a mentor with expertise on Gesun as I'm the sole subject matter expert on the topic there.
