damn i missed Park Hae Jin in his badass roles ❤️
BUT THIS DUDE IS NOT BADASS, BITCH IS COMPLETELY UNHINGED LOL
also... not them executing good plot twist in just episode one 👍🏻

I vibe with the bunny killer too 😂

Overall, it's kind of silly, but fun. I always liked the crime stories where the public judgement is the key factor so this just works perfectly for me. Also, love the cast - the mains and the supporting. Great variety.

one episode per week is a joke tho 🤡

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
Did the ML really kill his ex?😭
100% is. Kdrama writers do not have the guts to make the male lead in rom-com a killer 😂

I just wrote a comment about it, what I think:
I think it's another "Pinocchio" type of a deal. In Pinocchio as long as she believed she is telling the truth she did not have a hiccup. Here, as long as he believes he is telling the lie, she will hear him say lie, even if factually he is saying the truth. More likely than not he is just feeling guilty about her death and he took the blame in himself - convinced himself she died coz of him. So now when he says he did not kill her, it rings as lie, even tho it's true.

I think the "fluff" episodes were supposed to give a proper set up for FL and the people around her - how "delusional"…
True, how the carry the transition now is the key of whenever first two episodes were good set up, or just poor start that feels like a completely different drama.

i feel like the beginning is more like the mid part of the drama or something. Not the ending.

I honestly kind of gave up on Korean period dramas. I dropped 99.9% of the ones I picked up past 4 years 🙂 Bloody Heart was the the rare case I loved, and now this seem to give me similar vibe.

I think the "fluff" episodes were supposed to give a proper set up for FL and the people around her - how "delusional" and care free they are. How they do not understand how painful war is, so when the fighting actually happens, it will have bigger impact. Like the scholars just ranting about how the king should just go to war, as if they understand what war truly means. How FL ignored the tales of raped girls during the invasion etc. I actually think the light hearted introduction was a perfect choice for the more heart breaking and angst plot.

I have shed a tear of happiness. First two episodes were pure perfection.
Will this become Bloody Heart pt2 of excitement for me?

Truth to be told, I have quite a lot of trust in the screenwriter. Rebel was AMAZING too and I know, she is capable of writing 30 episode drama that does not get draggy and the plot makes sense. So even My Dearest being two part series does not really scare me at all.

So as for the episodes and some scenes that caught my attention.
First of all, is it just me who thinks the man from the opening waiting for ML is actually FL cross dressing? The moment they showed that person's reaction to the ML's name, I was like... that's FL right? And the whole cross dressing in episode 1 kind of felt like slight foreshadowing. Or I am just reading too much into it... Tho now after finishing the ep it might also be the singing guy 😅

I adore both leads. I love how delulu, but somehow valid in her delusions FL is. Also, that she is not this delicate flower. Yes, she is rather "naive", but in a completely different sense than we usually get. I am also sure while she will go after him first, but he will actually fell for her first - like that's is so fucking obvious. From the outside it will look like she likes him more and he just flirting and is not serious, but buy will be so far gone it's not a joke. I am already sooooooooooooooo excited about the romance. When he went: give up on him and come to me, I FUCKING DIED! But everything that followed made me want to kill him 🤡

Not gonna lie, the running joke of his dick not working is kind of funny 😂😂😅🤡

Nam Yeon Jun is such a fucking liar lol Sure you were just nice to her, that's why you leaned into the kiss 🙃 He obviously likes FL, but he is the "good loyal guy" hence he agreed to be engaged to the pretty lady like lady. But the moment ML and FL will get more and more connected, dude's gonna do 180 🙃

First two episodes were a perfect fluff and fun set up for all the angst to come. The ending of episode 2 was just chilling. I also love how we know nothing about ML... like, how does he have all the money and connection, who exactly is he (also if it's in synopsis, I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW LOL I went into this show just seeing the poster and the cast, I know nothing about the plot and I want to discover it all by just watching 🤡).

Can someone tell me why is mingyu so hesitant about approaching ji young when he has feelings for her as he was…
I think it's a lot of things, but mostly he hates and avoids complicated situations as much as possible. Hence the fact he is not 100% sure about her feelings (which is fair, she has great chemistry with literally all the guys, goes on dates with them etc. Which from her perspective not an issue, that's literally what the show is about) and every guy is into her and he became friends with them just makes him stop. Is it worth going for it and risk feeling so uncomfortable and possibly hurting a lot of people in the process when he is not even sure it will have happy ending for him and JY? I think he asks himself that question a lot. He clearly overanalyze everything, and what's worse he is not always right about his analysis.

The contestants in this show should take a lesson from the Netflix show Nineteen to Twenty. Here we have a group…
I think it's exactly because they are young and innocent that's why they are more honest and it seems like they are more mature. Because they did not come across much pain and headache in terms of romance they don't fear the consequences as much as people who had some failed and painful relationships.

Title Heart Signal Season 4 Spoiler
Jimin and Jiwoo date was truly great. It was obvious both have someone else they like, but they still had fun and were relaxed. They talked about little things, they talked about their feelings, Jimin was so mature in the way she talked about her feelings towards Jiwoo and her attitude about him not liking her back and being so direct in liking someone else. Just... truly enjoyable section of the episode.

Gyeo Re and Jumi's date was like a bitter sweet ending to a great slice of life drama (in terms of vibes). While both Ju Mi and Gyeo Re are attentive people, I think lately Gyeo Re was thinking more about himself (good for him tbh), while Ju Mi still takes care of others more than herself. There was no reason for her to talk about how Ji Young has a lot of care towards Gyeo Re and how she would like to stay in touch with him after the show except for making Gyeo Re feel better, even tho his curiosity and reactions were hurting her.
The whole date was bitter sweet, but still cute.
Me when Gyeo Re said he wants to go to more dates with Ju Mi: 🥰
Me when Gyeo Re said he wants to return favors she has done for him: 🙃

Hu Shin and Ji Young. Damn Hu shin is soooooooooooo gone 😂 he was almost crying and his hands were SHAKING when he found out he was going on a trip with Ji Young. That sleeping on his shoulder moment omgjhsdgfdfhj legit rom-com drama love it.

Min Hyu and Yi Su. I will be honest... I don't really care for Yi Su. She joined too late and most people were already set for someone, and he also was set for Min Gyu since they one so I just... stopped being curious about her. Still. I do think these two fit each other well. Min Gyu needs someone more straightforward and sure of themselves, because he is overthinking everything and not being able to make a choice - he just takes tooooooo many fucking things into consideration 😅 Like... he tries to be logical about everything, but he is still hella emotional about everything so he legit makes it hard for himself. He tries to rationalize everything even when the answer is just: that's how I feel. Best example is when he explained why he could not develop stronger feelings for Jimin because he cannot do it with someone who is not serious and confusing. But then... Ji Young is even more mysterious and confusing. He tried to rationalize his feelings, but when you look at the big picture... that rationalization made no sense. But I feel like it's hard for him to just admit he feels certain way and there is no complex well explained story behind it.

Best flirting goes to Gyeo Re and Mingyu when they were talking about picking rooms to sleep 😂
Not gonna lie, it's been a while since i enjoyed an episode so much. I think what this show failed at was having a directing. Everyone was left to do whatever and they were barely asked to go on dates and even then the choices were never limited - so we kept seeing Ji Young and Min Gyu go on dates with each other and other people. If they added more opportunities by adding rules (like, pick someone you never been on a date with etc), I think all the dynamics would look a bit different...

I think that's spot on. Most users (won't say all, because there are always people who find issue in everything) usually have problem only if a drama have more realistic presentation, but then does not take the behavior of the characters in a serious matter.

Here it's all so silly, and the young casting just adds to how unrealistic it all is, that most people just accepts it does not reflect reality at all.
