If I did bad job as a leader once, I would probably not try next time, especially before the finale when there is so much shit to worry about 🀣

on the lighter note, I'm finishing the episode only now and I have 2 thoughts:

I never laughed as hard as when Yu Jin said "Han Bin is talented, but "Hot Summer" is a very seductive song. I believe I can express that well through my performance" YOU 16 YEARS CHILD!!!! 🀣🀣🀣🀣

And also when Matthew wanted to lead Jelly Pop team πŸ˜‚ this child never learns hahaha

all i wanted from this show was to see 2 han bins perform together and watch them in their practice together, and now it won't ever happen in the context of show 😭 like we legit never really see them interact much on screen, but we kind of get the idea they do - it's just never shown.

Super interesting analysis :-D Very worried for Jong Woo (and the others...but him particularly πŸ₯Ί)You did not…
Gun Wook is young. They send him to all the shows to gain more and more fans. Just 17, so yeah they don't need to rush him to debut. Jellyfish is not the worst company, but also not the best. They debuted group in 2019, so I guess they might try their luck either now (if Gun wook does not debut with Boys Planet) or debut a group with him after Boys Planet group disbands.

After reading your comment you got me worried for Han Bin's future, I didn't realise that regarding his agency.
The ravi issue is a new one. Hopefully the agency will manage to work around it

It's not the worst agency. The thing is, the debut might happen, I'm more worried how they will manage the group after the debut, coz they kind of suck with promotion

? sung han bin definetly debut with boys planet.
I wrote just overall about all 18 trainees, not considering the chances of their debut in BP

Realistically speaking, most companies who sent their idols to these show use it as an opportunity to build a fanbase for trainees they are planning to debut soon. They send their best, not the worst trainees. So when they get eliminated, only a company with extremely bad management would not try to debut said trainee, but rather go with some new no-name they kept in the practice dungeon for years.

The only trainees from current top18 who might struggle to debut/maintain their career after the show ends:

Sung Han Bin - only if he is not smart about it and has nothing to do with him per se, but the fact he is under the company created by Ravi. So depends on how the company will now deal with all the media shit.

Kim Ji Woong - coz we don't know if his agency will want to invest in his singing career, or use his now even bigger popularity to make him even more popular actor. Depends where they will see more profit. I'm also confused what Nest Management even is. Not an entertainment company. Is this more like a contract work? Like, he hires them to manage his image etc, rather than him being sign under them?

Keita - There is something going on with his current group with members going to different survival shows.

Hui - while he will do just fine as a producer since he gained a lot of respect in that area in the industry, I can see him struggling as an actual performing artist. Especially since Cube sucks and I would not be surprised if they dropped Pentagon this year and not renew their contract (not the first time Cube would fail a rather successful group).

Kum Jun Hyeon - but mostly because he is under a new company so we simply don't know how good are their management skills etc.

Jay - hesitated before I wrote his name down, because he literally released a song right before the show started. But then I checked his company and I have little trust in their management skills since their only other group is also in a survival show right now.

Kamden - company that can work, but they literally just debuted a band, and P1harmony debuted in 2020... so can they drop a new group so fast? Not sure.

Seok Matthew - the most popular artist left the company in 2023 AND they just debuted a boy group this year. Chances of a new group for Matthew to debut are rather low, unless they try to make him solo artist, which I doubt.

Yoon Jong Woo - because he is literally not under any company atm.

Right, I agree. So let's drag Hui's name into it, since he is an active idol..
As far as I see it, everyone while in the show is considered a trainee. Same with Ji Woong who is an actor with big fanbase, or Keita who was in industry almost as long as Hui.

Personally, taking into consideration your previous comment about "stealing the spot" I did not find this comment funny, might be why it did not seem like a joke to me.

I'm not gonna argue with a child.
Go drag everyone into it and make people you are a fan of look bad Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

Is it just me or does some of these boys ranks don't add up? I get surprised everytime I see Gyuvin and Jeonghyeon…
Pretty sure Gyuvin has a strong Korean fanbase, hence his ranking is high. Personally I never voted for him, and don't understand the hype he apparently is getting in Korea. He performs better during the practice than on stage.

finally youre here kate! I fear the number 2 could be real.
Honestly, if he died, i think it would not be this "early" in the show. We still have 4 episodes left.

Title The Eighth Sense Spoiler
Theory from me, he did almost die but is fine. The shot of Jae Won alone was him just thinking shit through while Ji Hyun rests in the room (almost dying can be exhausting). Now Jae Won might try to distance himself from Ji Hyun because he 1. fears the pain losing someone can bring again, so it's better not to be too close with anyone. 2. blames himself for what happened to his brother, and now what happened to Ji Hyun and thinks people get hurt because they get close to him.
And it will be on Ji Hyun to get him out of that mental hell full of fear and doubts.

The scenario, shots and acting are great, but the editing... is really terrible. It's a first for me to be so…
yeah... the editing and camera work in episode 6 was... painful.

I LOVED how they just truly smiled at each other and you could see the pure happiness and peace. And then the wide shot and Woo Joo starts running towards Dong Jin. I cried 😭

Not obsessed with the last episode, but obsessed with the last scene.
What a PERFECT closing shot!

Damn I miss this show already. I don't think this is anything extremely memorable, but it's something you appreciate when you watch it. You remember how it made you feel and get that nice nostalgic feeling.
Literally went from 8.5 to 9 thanks to the last scene.

Kim Young Kwang's performance? PERFECTION. How the fuck is he so talented?

psst, for better structured thoughts you can check my review πŸ˜…πŸ˜‰
