Non-human beings learn what it means to be human and how they became "monsters". Franken no Koi has romance. Yokai Ningen Bem doesn't have any romance, and instead focuses on the relationships between family and friends.

'Dog' turned human romance story. Chul Soo (Song Joong Ki)'s character is like a wolf that suddenly gained a human body [yes he is a werewolf but this is how his character acts] where Shiro (Toyokawa Etsushi) is shown to be a guide dog given a human body to find the girl that raised him as a puppy. If you liked one you'll probably like the other.

Films about society's perpective of the hearing impaired from another's point of view. If you like the concept of using sign language in films, then you may find the other interesting. (GLove is about friendship and growth while Hear Me is more on the melo-romance side.)

Both are about a father, his wife, and their son. The father is always working and the mother feels neglected. One day, the wife leaves them and the father must raise his son on his own.
