Both have the Modern Monarchy concept + Romance with a king/prince

The main difference is TheKing drama has also timetravel & alternative realities fantasy element too, Goong has no fantasy element

CR is a cdrama set in chinese republican era (early to mid 1900s)

Very similar feeling watching both, stunning cinematography & visuals and a romance with an aristocratic charming leader (king /ring leader )

School 2017 and Best Mistake 2 are about relationships in a school. Also the male character is similar.

They are literally both "Two Worlds".

"W" is 2 worlds in a sense that one is the "real world" and the other is a "comic book world".

In "The King", one is the present world, or the world as we know it, then the other world is a parallel world, or a parallel universe.

Anyway, both have the same feels and both have an antagonist that does not want the male lead to prosper in some way.

Both movies deal with a character who was kidnapped at a young age and dealing with the trauma of that and how to move on and heal. Also they both don’t like being touched and have nightmares as a result of their trauma. Also both have a trigger warning for suicide/an attempt/references.

Same female lead actress.
The dynamic between the two leads is sort of similar. Start off at odds (he seems stuck up) but grow to know each other.
Office romance.
The male leads both had something traumatic happen to them in the past.
Both male lead characters actually KNEW the female lead as a kid but the female lead forgot about it.

Of course, one is historical and the other one not, but I feel like they have similar vibes. Both expecially have STRONG female leads who speaks always about "workplace" abuse.
Both recommended.

Both shed light on common issues and expectations women encounter in the course of work that men rarely have to deal with.

They both show the internal politics and struggles in a workplace: for Black dog is a school, in Hot Stove league is a baseball team. They both show faults of the systems they sorraund them. Both have no romance, but have a good portion of comedy and sometimes tension.

This show involves a poor yet the topper of the school and maintains a low profile. But on the inside there is a huge mystery hidden. Class of Lies is about how an attorney secretly enters the school to expose the misdoings of the authority. Extracurricular is more about the the students themselves and what mess they can get themselves into involving money, trafficking and even murder.

Queendom' is currently a hot issue among netizens, and the PD for the show had revealed that if 'Queendom' did well, it was highly likely that 'Kingdom' would also be launched. Now that 'Queendom' is doing so well, it looks like 'Kingdom' may actually be launched.

Both movies very similar. You see everything from the main characters pov, but then suddenly your mind get's blown away by the amazing plot twist. (for plot twist: watch the last 20 mins of memoir of a murderer's directors cut.)

Both movies are about a tragedy striking and the main lead trying to save everyone. Leaves you on the edge of your seat and leaves you grabbing some tissues. Got very similar vibes whilst watching this.
