I also got distracted and wasn't following up in the beginning, but it was actually the story really setting up between the time and space of the murder. It's a combination of Interstellar with Taken, talking through time anomaly, as he tracks down the murderer that killed his wife. So it's like past and present is changing at the same time to unfold more clues to the murder.

I think both were written by the same screenwriter. Both are hilarious wuxia comedies with strong female leads.

Both have beautiful love stories. They are tragic, and keep you on your toes. The main male leads are so protective and loving while the female leads have strength and bring out a different side of the male lead. Both beautiful stories that will stay with you long after you finished watching.

My Love from the Star is a 2017 Philippine television drama comedy romantic fantasy series broadcast by GMA Network. The series is based on a 2013 Korean drama of the same title. Directed by Joyce E. Bernal, it stars Jennylyn Mercado and Gil Cuerva.

LMIYD isn't medical but I think they are similar in the fact that the male leads are very talented in what they do. In Doctor John the male lead is a talented doctor who was wronged in the past. In LMIYD the male lead is a skilled criminal phycologist, he is well known and one of the best in his field. Similarly to in Doctor John, people find him suspicious at first and think he's a bad person, but with the help of the female lead (that they slowly fall in love with), they are accepted and people realise their skill in their field. The female leads also become able to accept their tragic pasts, whilst falling deeply in love with the troubled male lead.

I highly recommend both dramas. They are both very similar, just one is based on medical situations and the other, criminal situations :)

Celebrity dads caring for their children without help from their wife for 48 hours. It is the longest running celebrity and children pairing show, first airing in 2013 and is among the top favorite show in Korea as well as abroad.

In both dramas we have a rich and powerful but dysfunctional and crazy family. We have a chaebol family in Graceful family and a modern royal family in the last empress.
The main vilain in the two dramas are women. They both want to remain in power and are willing to do all it takes for it.
There is also a similar plot with a number of murder cases to be solved and family members of ther murdered trying to seek revenge. The storyline in graceful family is better written and somehow more realistic than the one of The last empress which sometimes lack coherence.
In their own way both dramas are enjoyable and very entertaining.

Both dramas feature female leads who are in positions of social stigma but learn to love their lives confidently and accept love. Both dramas feature social themes that are often not portrayed and offer refreshing social commentary. Both dramas are a little more serious but feature enjoyable performances and leave lasting impressions.
